    Broussard is damn unbearable at this point. This guy had to profess his “love” for Lebron 3 times before doing some fake criticism. The fact that he thought Lebron would “become the goat” shows how worthless his basketball analysis is.
    Edit: He just said he loves Lebron again, that’s 4 times now. I wonder if Savannah told Lebron she loves him 4 times today?

      So Broussard loves FLOPPING, LYING, CHEATING, FAKE RACIST INCIDENTS, FAKE INJURIES...etc.!!!

      He’s a giant “whataboutism” guy. Thr other day he was trying make a ridiculous argument about LeBronnzy being in the league because of the obvious nepotism and then tried to tie it into the 1950s and 1960s and discrimination in sports so that makes nepotism okay in LeBronnzys case. He’s lost his damn mind.

    So Broussard's role is to be the bad cop in the Jordan-Lebron GOAT debate. Broussard says Jordan is the GOAT, but he always frames it as Lebron is #2 right behind Jordan. This is to keep Kareem, Kobe, etc. from being included in the GOAT debate so it's only a choice between Jordan and Lebron.

      Kobe, like Mike, is a shooting guard. LeBron is a decent size (flopping) power forward that much of his game is shoving people out of the way to score. And when that doesn’t work, he’ll drop 4 points in the 4th quarter of an elimination game. “These things are not the same”

    The first time I ever heard the term "Big 3" was back when the Celtics got Garnett and Allen to join Pierce. Then you know who was a part of the James-Wade-Bosh big 3? That same Ray Allen and nobody ever even talks about that. They had 3 of the top 10 players in the league at that time alongside possibly the greatest shooter of all time at that moment (before Curry exploded) AND Allen hit that shot to save their ass in that playoff run so it's not like he was washed up or anything, he still was one of the best shooters in the league!

    • @alexandermendez4653
      @alexandermendez4653 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah, the Celtics big 3 was already towards the tail end of their primes at the time. If it was made 5 years earlier they could have been the best of all time. Miami seriously underachieved with their big 3. They were all in their mid 20s. 2 top 5 guys and Bosh who was probably 10-15th in the league. 2-2 in the finals is laughable

    2:21 as a native Chicagoan who remembers drinking 40s and watching the 91 finals, this whole “LeBron needs high level talent” while we won championships with Randy Brown, Kerr and Buechler playing real minutes is hilarious. Was Bosh and Wade not high level talent in ‘11 and ‘14?
    A reminder we had to blow a roster spot on Jack Haley to keep Rodman somewhat sane
    “High level talent” with no draft picks because LeBron spent them on Westbrook.

No super teams no media hype no insane preferential treatment from the refs and probably the 2 most important things he'd b losing his ability barrel through the paint with no resistance and he wouldn't b able to load manage or stat pad. And the competition would b much greater so no cake walks to the finals. And in all honesty I don't think he gets even 1 ring and certainly makes it nowhere near the goat debate. I mean hell he's no business there now. So yeah take away all the advantages he's had and throw him in an era with real basketball and fierce competition and he's just a run of the mill star player with no longevity records to fall back on cuz he didn't get to rest a 3rd of his career and use peds to extend it.

    You make a great point about Pippen being a draft pick and then developing into somebody. This whole narrative about how Lebron had to go against a stacked Warriors team is such BS. We now know with the benefit of hindsight that it's Curry making these guys All-Stars, not the other way around (with the exception of Klay). Would Draymond get the praise he gets if Curry didn't move so well off the ball? Andrew Wiggins--we've seen how hot and cold he can be. Klay is really the only guy that would have been an All-Star on any team. And yes, Klay and Draymond were drafted. They didn't NEED Kevin Durant to beat Lebron. They only got him because they realized that the LEAGUE and the REFS were not going to let the game be fair. They were always going to look the other way when Lebron threw Curry onto the court without a call. They were always going to do silly things like suspend Draymond Green. All of it was so the NBA could have their narrative and drive viewership because god forbid a team that organically grew their roster dominated the league for a decade. The NBA needs drama, and what better way than to give the leagues #1 drama queen as much help as possible?
    So all the whiners out there who complain about how Golden State was stacked are just ridiculous. They drafted those players and developed them. Even Curry himself was dismissed as someone with weak ankles and too small and oh by the way, no jump shooting team could ever win a championship. And the ones proven wrong by the Warriors decided they would go on a crusade to try and diminish their accomplishment and how they affected the league afterwards in terms of the way the game was played and how talent was drafted. This is what happens when people decide to stop thinking for themselves and just accept what the sports media spoon feeds them: Lebron worship.

    Remember that the ‘Big Three’ era at that time didn’t start with LeBron and the Heat. It started with Danny Ainge and the Celtics. It wasn’t the collusion of active players, but the collusion of the former Celtic teammates Danny Ainge and Kevin McHale to bring Garnett to Boston. The Celtics Big Three won a championship, which escalated to the Lakers trading for Pau Gasol. It was the Pierce/Garnett/Allen vs Bryant/Gasol/Bynum big threes that prompted Bron/Wade and Bosh to collude and go to Miami. Was it right? Hell no! But it was a logical next step down the path that the League was already going. The Lakers are working with an outdated model for building a successful team and they’ll continue to fail until they develop their own core of players rather than being held hostage by a small group of short term mercenaries.
