Am Tenor Samson from Kenya coast. Am greatly inspired by this hallelujah chorus,.sung by your strong orchestra. May the lord turn again to pick us that we can sing hallelujah forever enever
I really loved this performance conducted by the great Professor Wliby . It's wonderful to see the inclusion of all kinds of brass instrument players . Thank you for the upload . Happy 2024 .
I must have been incredible to enjoy all these brass bands combined with the massive organ in this church. I wish I could have attended. Best regards from The Netherlands.
If you decide a church is the place to play Handel's Hallelujah Chorus, you're right. A song like that should definitely be played in the house of God.
Wrong. It's too good of a piece of music to be dogmatic about. Not saying not to play it in a church but I am saying there's plenty for a non-christian like myself to like about it from a musical standpoint.

I've got an arrangement I'll be posting on here soon you may like, for something "different". I've harmonised monotone lines, looped certainsections as a result of said harmonization while playing with octaves on the melody line, I added some rock-inspired improve over the droned notes that happen about 3/4 of the way through. My instrumentation is strings, electric guitar, synth, and drumbset. I have a commedic introduction that subverts the "stand up" formality, encouraging people to snack or dance (my arrangement is certainly done in a way people will dance to it) because "we don't stand with the king" and I expressly have no lyrics because as a composer/arranger I prefer music to make people come up with their own interpretation of things like a deeper meaning behind monotone lines that were harmonised or why I made it impossible for the original lyrix to fit without me telling them what to think with lyrix. What do you think of the sounds of my arrangement?
This is one of the most important aspects of my life and my faith
