BTW Rosa Parks was in an episode of "Touched by an Angel", indeed, which wouldn't be that strange, but what's bonkers, episode was about racism and they put Roma Downey (the main white actress of this series, playing one of the angels) in a blackface, cause God wanted the angel to feel what does it mean to be black. At one point, when she runs from racists, she prays to God, and I quote, "Please, make me white again!".
this is all not surprising.. the show was filmed here in Metro Salt Lake City; in fact ALL the hospital scenes were filmed in one of the former patient wards in an ancillary building of the VA Hospital in SLC. I know this because Della Reese and Roma Downey both bumped into me.. quite literally, in the elevator - I worked in that building at the time.
