Parliament is all set to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the day constitution was adopted by constituent assembly. In a gala event, President will address the joint session of Parliament in central hall on Tuesday. Vice president and Lok Sabha speaker will also address the MPs from both house in the same hall where constituent assembly met and adopted the constitution in 1949.

The Waqf Controversy refuses to die down in Karnataka with the Karnataka Government hitting back at the BJP with data to argue that BJP government between 2019 and 2023 notified 2,865 acres as Waqf land in Karnataka compared to 391 acres in Siddaramaiah's first term. The govt has also argued that BJP Govt under BSY and Bommai issued farmers notices to farmers and landowners claiming a property to the waqf property than the Siddaramaiah govt. 1735 notices issued to landowners/farmers during BJP rule, 1201 during Siddaramaiah's tenure says the party.
