"AFTERIMAGE" Live RUSH cover

From the 2024 Bubba Bash, a YYNOT hosted event featuring guest musicians who were also friends of Neil Peart's. The event raised money for Cedars Sinai cancer research.
I was assigned the task of learning "Afterimage" on keys and vocals.
We only had a brief run through at sound check. Right before this, I handed John Wesley (Wes Dearth(Vertical Horizon, Porcupine Tree) my guitar, ran over to the keyboards and Jason Bittner (Shadows Fall, Overkill, Anthrax) jumped up on our drummer's kit and away we went!

The vibe at Bubba Bash is intense! The performance of this song holds up that vibe. Rush tribute bands can be found all over TH-cam. Some are quite good, no doubting that. For me, YYNOT is something special covers and 3 cd's of originals worth.
