Nice to see that they have a an international school in San Juan del sur which I was not aware of. I study in Nicaragua during my younger years at the American Nicaraguan School in Managua alot of memories. Great video 👍 Greatings from California.

@@mariegardiner7034 One step at a time :) We used a recommended local to set up our bank account and it was easy peasy. We traveled with our 2 cats. Just make sure you have the correct paperwork and vet appointments. Feel free to reach out to me on Instagram if you like

Hi Allison, my family and I are thinking of visiting and possibly moving to Nicaragua this year. Would you say it's safe for women and children there? I live in FL USA and whenever I bring up Nica to anyone they always say it's unsafe and not secure. Mostly because reports of kidnappings and armed robberies against foreigners.

Hi! Yes I get this question quite often. And, to be honest, I feel incredibly safe here. We've walked everywhere and never had any issues. The most prevalent problem here that I've heard of is petty theft. So I just make sure not to leave any valuable unattended when I'm in public. But, I've never had any issues. I'm sure there are parts of Nicaragua that are not as safe, just like any country, but SJDS is great :)

I love horseback riding! It would be wonderful to ride on the beach. Is it as lovely as it sounds?
