A soulmate wasn't always supposed to be with you or love you in a romantic way. In both Titans and Teen Titans(2003) Dick and Rachel are clearly soulmates, and I'd fight if someone tells me it's not. The way they understand, care and protect each other is so overwhelming. They were both mysterious person but they managed to learn more about each other than anyone else, even themselves in some cases. Whether it was in a romantic or platonic way, nothing could ever change my mind that these two are the most important to each other (in both Titans and Teen Titans) no matter who they end up with. Dick and Rachel are soulmates. End of Story.
beautifully said! and agree 100% and thankfully Titans keeps coming back to them, even when they keep sidelining if not outright ignoring them at times, they do also keep coming back to them. I mean even with as little onscreen time as they had together in s3 of Titans and as poor as the writing execution of it was, imo, the last few episodes of s3 were a contrived nonsensical mess all around, especially episode 12, and yet, they still had Rachel feel Dick's death and be the one to run to Dick's dead body and fall down next to it and then be the one to help him out of the pit and the one he saw first upon coming to. Not to mention sharing the very last shot of the season, in a moment as insignificant as it may seem at first glance, but that once again highlighted them being, for better and worse, kindred spirits, soulmates.

I also ship DickRae(only in Teen Titans and Go tho) but even as platonic and a father relationship it is in Titans, I still feel overwhelmed and emotional about their bond and I could still never be more thankful they gave it to us especially because the most associated Robin to her now is Damian. I love the Batfamily and I ship DickBabs in the comics and even though the majority of s3 are about the Batfam, I'm still happy they didn't forget Rachel and Dick's bond. That's one of the best things, really.
@@k.NightRae13 I see them more as close orphaned siblings with a big age gap between them on Titans, = a mix of sibling and parental type relationship, but other than that I once again agree wholeheartedly. It was quite the batfamily season, which frankly I wasn't too happy with... I don't mind them introducing Babs, she was one of the better parts of the season, but this Batfamily show it turned into with the move to Gotham and the big bad being a Batman villain, I wasn't a fan of. I'm glad that's over. I like the batfamily, but I'm watching this show for the Titans. And I'm glad too that amidst the chaos of the last few episodes they still managed to squeeze a little Dick and Rachel in. (And finally let Gar turn into another animal) For me they are the emotional anchor of the show.

I love thr Bat family but I can't say I am really happy about it in this season considering how they made Bruce like this (I love the acting and the idea of him being open to his emotions but it was just not Bruce, tbh). I love Babs and as I said, I ship DickBabs but I don't actually approve the romance and drama they had here (I'm still guessing DickKori is endgame) and of course, the fact that three Robins just died in one season is plainly bad writing for me. However, for me Tim's addition is one of the best things here, and yes, seeing Dick and Rachel have that final scene together tears me up joyfully. I love how the bond and friendship is still and forever will be there.
@@k.NightRae13 It's bad writing for me too, but then the show has problems with the writing in general. Too often they have moments for 'dramatic effect' that don't make any sense. Or are just unnecessary, like Tim and Dick dying. Basically 'drama' is the show's Achilles' heel, that and for a show about superheroes having such a poor handle on superpowers.
Wow they can be together😢😢 ... it has nothing to do with the actor being older than her people ... the actor who plays the kid is 25 years old and no one has a problem with her making a couple with him😠 in the series he just needs wait for her to turn 18 and everything is fine 
DickBabs had the "true love" vibe (in both Titans and comics) while DickRae had the "soulmate" vibe (Teen Titans 2003 and this show) and I'm loving it. He might have been a father figure here compared to the other versions that had them around the same age, but I'm really happy that Dick and Rachel kept their bond here, and he is still her biggest believer like in Teen Titans 2003. Teen Titans: "You're the most hopeful personI've ever met" - Dick Grsyson Titans: "You're the strongest person I've ever met" - Rachel Roth I'm still really pissed and offended that when CBR made a comparison between both shows and the Dick Grayson/Rachel Roth bond, they put Damian Wayne as the Robin. Lol, they have one job, and I'm still offended by that considering the DCAU movies are not even the topic. It's between Teen Titans and Titans. Damian wasn't even in there. So much for just hoping to finally see the right Robin be acknowledged as the closest person in Raven's life in the versions I love.
