We were there for two weeks in February in Palm Beach. Overnight on Feb 7th I think, the beaches went from beautiful sandy beaches to rough waves and seaweed littering the beaches. It was caused by extra strong winds during the night. The next day staff were out trying to clean up the mess without much luck. They even removed planks from the pier between Barcelo and The Hilton to stop the pier from being destroyed by the strong waves. The beach lounges and umbrellas had to be moved back up the beach because the waves were extending into the beach area. From your video it seems the conditions have not improved. We have been visiting Palm Beach for over 10 years and have never seen anything like this before. The beaches were still recovering from storm damage a couple of years ago. I hope this isn’t going to be the normal in Aruba. The beaches were always so beautiful!
It was a crazy couple of days 😖 feel sorry you guys could not experience our beaches like it should have been. On the other hand you do have some unique footage and an excuse to return one day! Hope our schedules coincide next time. Looking forward to your next vlogs.
Aruba is our favorite place in the world & we have never seen it rough like that. Quite the anomaly. We love tres tradition, eagle Beach & baby beach. Hope u made it to Arikok park. We always stay on eagle Beach so peaceful & quiet
Been going to Aruba last 27 yrs and staying at the Pheonix. That is the worst seaweed I've ever seen there. But it's always cleaned up in the morning at our beach. They do such a great job. We go from middle of March to middle of April. We've had about 30 minutes of rain total, during the day, in the last 20 yrs. It will rain but mostly at night or early morning, at that time of year. Never have seen waves like this video on this side of the Island. We've also cruised extensively the Carribean Islands and found Aruba to be tops.
I’ve always wanted to go there. I’ve been to several islands but got to get there. A buddy told me to rent a moped and go around the island and find good places to eat.

been visiting yearly for 25 years and I've never seen Eagle in worse shape...we stay at the Divi on Druif beach and that comes and goes

We went in April and the only waves were from the watersports boats pulling tubes and stuff

Thank you. It’s a ton of work. I lift weights more than cardio and avoid junk food and alcohol as much as possible
Still love the Isla mujeres content way better ..
