All these comments focusing on the one $2,500 sale... So lame. He's dropping real gems right here just to focus on that, plus $2,500 is not really that much compared to the $147,500 made off smaller price purchases. Keep it up guys this content is gold!
I hear people all the time bring up the story of how he sold shares of his music but the part that not a lot of people seem to understand as you already have to have an active Fanbase to do something like this.
The Respectors of HipHop , all races included . Starting from a Cali market… American Black people spend enough money to be the 8th largest nation alone .
@@purplkane lol A lot of people respect hip hop, I think 99% of them don’t have 2500 dollars to put toward a LaRussell project. I’m interested to know how he found that group of people who are that wealthy. Who cares what their skin color is, how did he target rich people?
@@silentsage2462 You asked about demographic then fixed your mouth to respond with who cares about skin color after being given an explanation. Wow....
@@charnelveil669 this might blow your fucking mind dude, but skin color isn’t the demographic that exists in the fucking world. “Black people” is a trash term, you can’t just lump everyone into a box by their skin color. That’s not a demographic. He specifically targeted rich people, I asked how. Not sure how such a basic question is that hard to get
To help us all understand and put things into perspective, I wish you all would’ve compared him and his sell’s to another artist we all know. Maybe lil uzi. Then we’d understand
Based on what I've heard, a lot of artists get an average of 7% of the total album sales earnings. I just checked Uzi's spotify and he's getting 33M Streams which would amount to 91,000 every quarter and 7500 every week (However, this is only on spotify) but even adding all DSP's together wouldn't amount to 150,000. So yes, LARussell is cooking Uzi on sales. 😂
He didn’t sell every album for $2500 …the guy here only stated he made a total of $150,000 - various prices since he does the pay what you want system .
