- After months of consideration, Lou and I have changed our mind about keeping our son off camera and are so excited for you to meet the light of our lives - our baby boy, Max. He just turned seven months and is the smiliest and most determined child. He’s already been through a lot with a helicopter ride to the NICU when he was first born, a clubfoot diagnosis that left him in casts all summer long, and even surgery on his little foot. But he is stronger than ever and finally out of his brace during day time, and we can’t wait to see him crawling all over the shipping container someday soon!
Thank you for all your support since Max’s birth. We feel so lucky to share our lives with you and know that including Max in this online family will make the experience more profound for all of us.

It's crazy that I started watching those first van life videos. I've seen you two travelling the world, to the boat, to Hawaii, and now here in the mountains with a baby. One thing I've always admired about you and Lou is your ability to adapt and willingness to change your opinion on things. It's so nice to see how much you've considered this and chosen the best option for Max. It really shows what great parents the two of you are. I'm certain that if it ever stops feeling right, you know you can always change again. I am a stay at home mom. Thought I would go back to work and realized I couldn’t. My husband was a student and he had no idea how we would survive (neither did I) but I just knew I could not miss this precious time. And 2.5 years later I’m still here with him cherishing this time ! We are figuring it out day by day but i believe when you have a vision or dream that aligns with your heart life supports you in infinite ways big and small.

What a beautiful video that brought back so many memories- some of them, how scared we were when we drove up to be with you, Max and Lou. Grateful every day that the scary time is behind us and that we get to watch your new adventure unfold both in real life and on your channel. Max reminds me so much of you Dana-- you were always such a happy baby. Nothing changes, love this video so much even though I felt my eyes tear up when I saw the helicopter. Amazing story !!!!
