I love how The Katherine is just chilling in the background. You know she's thinking, "Wow. Grown men. Playing with Legos. And they didn't even ask me to help."
Tobi Toes No, it's there because people like you, instead of learning what a word means and how to accurately use it, insist that it means what you want it to mean. That reinforces the incorrect definition for other people, until so many people are using it incorrectly that the dictionary has to list it. This is not an example of evolution of language. It's an example of _corruption_ of language.
Tobi Toes Yes, that is how you used it. That video is _not_ literally the definition of "nerd." The _literal_ definition of "nerd" is: 1. A foolish or contemptible person who lacks social skills or is boringly studious 1.1 A single-minded expert in a particular technical field That is _literally_ the definition because it's the _actual_ definition of "nerd." The video is _figuratively_ the definition of nerd.
One of my life goals is to have enough legos to build any of their specialty kits without buying new parts. (Other than anything exclusive to the kit of course)
My goodness, what is the music in the backround? I must know. It's so perfect for lego starwars construction, I'm am flailingly speachless. Such perfection!!!!
It amazes me that all those HOURS they spend making it have been compresses into a video that is 3 and a half minutes long. That's dedication right there :)
Because of this video, I called my parents and parents in law together to buy the Millennium Falcon for my husband (he turned 36 yesterday). We're now putting it together. Thanks for the awesome idea for a present, we're having tons of fun!
I got the collectors edition millennium falcon 2 years ago, and it took me about 3 days to build( about3-5h a day) and now it is sitting proudly on a shelf above my desk. :)
I love Michael. As soon as I saw him I knew that the video was going to be epic. You must both be so patient. I think I'd go crazy trying to find all the pieces.
I have ALWAYS wanted one of these!!! My mum used to tell me about the giant Lego Deathstar my older brother had and it sounded awesome! I need to find me one of these in Australia. Hmm...the search begins!
This video inspired my best friend and I to purchase and build the Falcon for ourselves. We even bought Reese's Pieces (the good kind, though, I don't like the pastels either) and stayed up all night, building it. It is now our love child, and it is beautiful.
Helped my little sister to put together the Pirates of the Caribbean ship this christmas. She did not get to build much... at all. I did it in four hours and LOVED it. Building lego is fun - so next christmas I'm getting her all the coolest lego stuff that I want to build.
I work in a toy shop and outside we have a display case with a Lego world. We change it about every two months and in the past we have had things from Lego Kingdom (with a castle and a bunch of knights), from Lego Star Wars (including the Millenium Falcon) etc. So when it's time to change it, a "pro" Lego builder comes and constructs the world. Pretty cool job to just build a bunch of Lego worlds :)
I forgot how thoroughly awesome LEGO is! Just the fact that the design includes interior living spaces, totally tubular. Also I was distracted by the slow shifting of the tablecloth across the tabletop...
My best friend's younger brother Hudson has an insatiable obsession with both Star Wars and LEGOs. Many times when I visit her house I end up playing with Hudson and his LEGO sets more than I spend time with Paige, (the friend.) I can't help it. It is fun to the highest degree.
My brother received the Lego Falcon for hi (31st) birthday this year and set about building it over several days with me and his 7 year old daughter. Much fun was had. Everyone had jobs. I think we may have been a bit more organized than Hank and Michael.
I remember when I was ten I made the Imperial Star Destroyer. I was so happy I went upstairs to show my parents and then fell back down the stairs where it fells into lots of little pieces. That's life
My god. I have actually been wanting one of the really big lego star wars sets since i was five. If i get the AT-AT my life will be complete. Also, this is really cool.
After a week of witnessing so much stupidity and cruelty in the news and all over the world, it takes a 3 minute video of Lego and the Willow reference of Madmartigan to bring me back to my happy place. You guys are so great at reminding me that the world is such an awesome place. Thanks for that. :)
In all the time I've spent watching TH-cam, this is the first video I have seen which prominently features an actual tube! Also, Madmartigan + tardigrades = yay!
I did a Lego Millenium Falcon myself, but the big version. For those who don't know, it's about 2.5 the size of this one. Took me a hell of a lot of time.
I swear when Hank said they were finished there were still pieces all over the table. I like Michael being in the video he should be in them more often :)
Woow..that is WAY more complicated than I expected..I always thought with those kits you just made the outside shell but that one's like, proper detailed inside o.O
I am so glad someone besides me remembers Madmartigan! I talk about Willow all the time and no one has any idea what the heck I'm talking about and I feel super old and lame, and I'm only 21 :'(
So much Green Brothers in my life! I watched this while reading the last few pages of TFIOS and my gf started reading A Cheertastic Christmas Miracle next to me. lol
WOW! Greatest ever video!! I have an older version of the Millenium Falcon and it took me 5 hours to build! Although, I was younger at the time. You need to do this again when Lord of the Rings lego comes out!
I love how The Katherine is just chilling in the background. You know she's thinking, "Wow. Grown men. Playing with Legos. And they didn't even ask me to help."
I LOVED THE STOP-MOTION AT THE END
I love Hank and Michael, and this video is literally the definition of Nerd.
+Amiee Ann Not. Literally.
Tobi Toes
Just because it's in common use does not make it correct.
Tobi Toes Do you not understand it's only it the dictionary like that because it's misused often? I guess not.
Tobi Toes

I like how Michel just throws stuff when he's done with it
Is there a 51 minute version of this video, at the end of which it's announced that they're having a baby?
Hank+Michael+Lego=Awesome!
Also adding sound effects from the Legend of Zelda when you opened the box at 0:16, just made my day!
FOR THOSE WHO DONT KNOW THEReS A BIGGER ONE... and im a nerd for having it
And the difference is fucking $3678 - $122,34 = $3555.66.
So fuck that.
Lol ofcourse ther is a bigger one. I even have 2 of the bigger ones for sale!

One of my life goals is to have enough legos to build any of their specialty kits without buying new parts. (Other than anything exclusive to the kit of course)
There are two main reasons why I like the videos in which Michael appears:
First, the music is always really really great.
Second, Michael is awesome.
I love these nerds.
One of the best vlogbrothers videos in recent memory. Got that classic charm of old school Brotherhood 2.0 videos!
Micheal from SciShow!
Robert Flavor r
I don't feel this video is complete without an
A R A N D A V I S I O N
Did they include a Lego coffeecup?
(Lego joke, most of the city sets do. Police have 1-3 each)
+Collin Barker All hail the coffeecup!
My goodness, what is the music in the backround? I must know. It's so perfect for lego starwars construction, I'm am flailingly speachless. Such perfection!!!!
2:50 The Millennium Falcon is flaccid.
The Legend of Zelda sound effect that you used when you opened the box completly made my day!
It amazes me that all those HOURS they spend making it have been compresses into a video that is 3 and a half minutes long.
That's dedication right there :)

I like how the tablecloth slowly moves towards them in the time-lapse shots
Hank:
It's hard again!
Cardigan!
Madmartigan!
TARDIGRADE!
Michael:
It's late.
I have ALWAYS wanted one of these!!! My mum used to tell me about the giant Lego Deathstar my older brother had and it sounded awesome! I need to find me one of these in Australia. Hmm...the search begins!
I love that in the doobly-doo, Hank says "I was at Target and I saw this Millenium Falcon and I needed it"
This video inspired my best friend and I to purchase and build the Falcon for ourselves. We even bought Reese's Pieces (the good kind, though, I don't like the pastels either) and stayed up all night, building it. It is now our love child, and it is beautiful.
OMG the Lego Millenium Falcon was my FAVORITE set when I was little. My brother and I spent hours putting it together and playing with it!
I had that when I was younger, took me a solid week to build it by myself. I was a proud 7 year old when it was complete though.
I love watching the tablecloth slip farther and farther during the progression videos XD
Helped my little sister to put together the Pirates of the Caribbean ship this christmas. She did not get to build much... at all. I did it in four hours and LOVED it. Building lego is fun - so next christmas I'm getting her all the coolest lego stuff that I want to build.

i love the dramatic focusing
It looks incredibly menacing on that floral table cloth!!!
My dad got me this for Christmas when I was just a padawan! We had fun putting it together. Good times...
I forgot how thoroughly awesome LEGO is! Just the fact that the design includes interior living spaces, totally tubular.
Also I was distracted by the slow shifting of the tablecloth across the tabletop...
I love how the bag you threw remains on the floor for the remainder of the build...
One of my favorite videos ever!

1:35 WHITE MOUNTAIN DEW!!!! SO MUCH LOVE!!!
i love the little blue tube!
So this is where Hank's hatred of peanut butter m&ms began.
YOU FOUND A PIECE OF HEART!!!! I'd be really exited to get a lego one of those!
THE MUSIC IS AWESOME. I'm blown away!
I hope you realize how much of my childhood years were spent fantasizing about owning that model. Treat the thing with respect.
I would like to thank you for the Willow reference. It made my afternoon of homework that much brighter.
you can almost feel how excited Hank is
Michael: "Perfecto."
Made my day.
Also, LEGOS! :D
My brother received the Lego Falcon for hi (31st) birthday this year and set about building it over several days with me and his 7 year old daughter. Much fun was had. Everyone had jobs. I think we may have been a bit more organized than Hank and Michael.
There are still pieces on the table :D And also: Gaaahhhh!!!! I can't believe that my hometown can hold so much AWESOME!!!
I really like that tablecloth!
I've never been Star Wars, but I still appreciate that this is AWESOME!
I love the fact the box says ages 9-14. Gotta love LEGO.
my piano teacher had one of these sitting around for a while. He was so proud.
The sound of a Zelda chest opening at 0:19 is the same as my text ringtone! I was so confused.
I remember when I was ten I made the Imperial Star Destroyer. I was so happy I went upstairs to show my parents and then fell back down the stairs where it fells into lots of little pieces. That's life
Anyone else notice the way Hank's voice changes when he's playing games or with Lego? It's quite entertaining to me :D
My god. I have actually been wanting one of the really big lego star wars sets since i was five. If i get the AT-AT my life will be complete. Also, this is really cool.
I love how the tablecloth slowly slips off the table

You guys are so great at reminding me that the world is such an awesome place. Thanks for that. :)
I almost had a panic attack when Hank opened the bags and dumped them in the middle... I am very serious about Legos.
That lovely moment when Michael is nerdier than Hank. "Tubular!" *Hank looks up and disapprovingly at Michael* "Really?"
Michael "Tubular!"
Hank "Really?"
I love that there are still pieces left once they've finished it. xD
Willow is a great movie.. I want to go watch it now. I'm glad you made that reference.. :D
that was pretty awesome and it looked like a lot of fun. i may have to get this now!
haha that was awesome. I like you and Michael living together, it's adorable.
In all the time I've spent watching TH-cam, this is the first video I have seen which prominently features an actual tube!
Also, Madmartigan + tardigrades = yay!
IT IS FINISHED!
that would be the perfect time to drop it..
You guys have so much time on your hands
"It's late..." is always my favorite excuse too :)
i like how there are a few pieces you decided you didn't need
"The tube will happen when the tube happens."
Great advice for life.
That looks like so much fun, I wanna make lego stuff now...
my brothers have this and we made it a few years ago! great vid idea!
The Legend of Zelda music at like 0:15 makes me so happy. xD Thank you, Hank!
Even though I've never seen Star Wars, this is still pretty kickass.
I did a Lego Millenium Falcon myself, but the big version. For those who don't know, it's about 2.5 the size of this one. Took me a hell of a lot of time.
I swear when Hank said they were finished there were still pieces all over the table. I like Michael being in the video he should be in them more often :)
Michael Aranda music makes me happy.
Oh...so happy.
Woow..that is WAY more complicated than I expected..I always thought with those kits you just made the outside shell but that one's like, proper detailed inside o.O
there was just so much awesome in one room
I am so glad someone besides me remembers Madmartigan! I talk about Willow all the time and no one has any idea what the heck I'm talking about and I feel super old and lame, and I'm only 21 :'(
Anyone else love the Willow reference?
I have always wanted one of these. Jealousy crawls through my soul.
I didn't know that people actually completely built these.
I officially have a new bucket list item.
The Zelda sound effect literally made me shriek like a small child, that's how excitedI was xD
this is the most awesome nerdy thing ever. I want to build my own Millennium Falcon now but I do not have that kind of patience.
So much Green Brothers in my life! I watched this while reading the last few pages of TFIOS and my gf started reading A Cheertastic Christmas Miracle next to me. lol
all Lego boxes should make that sound when you open them
So that's where mine went! I've been looking everywhere for it!
WOW! Greatest ever video!!
I have an older version of the Millenium Falcon and it took me 5 hours to build! Although, I was younger at the time.
You need to do this again when Lord of the Rings lego comes out!
That is an attractive table cloth right there!
YES! Love the Willow reference!!!!
Holy crap, you guys have way more patience than I could ever have!
Favourite vlogbrothers video yet!!! x
You are so lucky to have that set!!!
After seeing this video i got back into legos and started building all my old sets and i got the millenium falcon one for christmas :D
I'm pretty sure I just smiled throughout this whole video.
Constructing a lego-star-wars-space-ship with Hank Green and Michael Aranda would be like all my dreams (and then some) coming true.
I had the first version of the Falcon they did. I want the new one!
Actually, when I think about it. This is like a perfect description of my childhood xD Building star wars lego and referencing Willow^^
