Jinjer really is one of those bands that only comes around once in a lifetime.

YES! I consider Jinjer and Ghost (maybe I’m alone on Ghost) as 2 of the bands that I will have to explain to my kids/grandkids that these 2 groups were one of a kind during my generation.
I agree 100%. I consider Jinjer the "Halley's Comet of metal if not music. (side note: Hally's comet is a periodic comet that is viewable from earth every 75 years). I count my lucky stars that I am around to witness Jinjer, the Halley's Comet of Metal. They are the first band in a looooong time that has really wow'ed me. Just a great band and they are really nice and all around good humans. So glad they are gaining fans, they deserve it.
Jinjer is truly a gem. A sound all of their own.

I remember the first time I saw and heard this band.....I was like some greater being blessed this woman with stunning beauty and absolutely beautiful voice and OMG her scream and growl!! At this point I realized that not only was she blessed but everyone that ever heard her are the truly blessed ones!!!! Jinjer keep the music coming!!!!

The variety in how they can make their sound is really incredible. You can tell they really love music of all types the way they incorporate things from all over. It's really refreshing to hear a metal band like this.

I stopped listening to metal over 20+ years ago , it all kind of got stale for me , Then I found Jinjer !! instantly fell in love with them and they went to my number 1 fave band of all time, Amazing talent
pez222fez I’m right there with you man. There’s plenty of new metal bands out that also have amazing musicianship but they just haven’t been able to take it to the next level as Jinjer has. I wrote a little about it under the description for this post. Gojira is the only other metal band I’ve heard that’s been able to take what’s already been done countless times before and re-innovated it.
Although each Jinjer's song is not like the other but you can always recognize the band. Over the ten years of their existence Jinjer has developed its own and completely unique style unlike any other!
I think that we live in a time when a new style of Metal was born, that’s why no one can answer the question “what style do they sing?” - this style has no name yet but something like “GrooveMix” or “JinjerCore" will appear soon. : D
And yes, Tatiana’s vocals will also have to come up with a special name because it’s not "growl", and not a "fry scream", and nothing else what have name, but something very mixed and unique - even music experts can’t agree on what it really is!

Every song they have sounds different but u know it's still jinjer...it's crazy each song I hear becomes my new favorite song....they don't have a weak track on their whole discography.......this band is amazing.....the Philly show was cancelled because of sound issues with the venue and they didn't want to play and sound like shit....they still did the meet and greet....this band is not only A+ but they also have high character and integrity.....
As someone who's played in bands for over 25 years, you owe it to your fans to give them a show-vehicles breaking down, people getting sick or injured, visa/travel issues - all valid excuses for a show not happening. Bailing on a sold out show because the PA "wasn't good enough" is bullshit. If your tones are good and your playing is on point, you should be able to throw down a killer set with a minimal PA if need be. (To quote David Lee Roth - "Always have a back-up for the back-up") They very easily could have done a stripped down/hardcore type show without all the bells and whistles and it would have turned a low point of the tour into a high point and gave everyone a special experience. If bands I was in canceled every time a promoter/club dropped the ball, we would have done probably less than half of the shows we had & those issues happened everywhere from lo-budget local shows to pro-level festivals and tours. You have to make do with what you've got to work with sometimes, or you can just say, fuck the fans. I guess they've become too reliant on backing tracks & loops to be able to hang without it, which is sad. I still think there a good band, but that whole experience totally soured me on them.
Joseph D 💯 Joseph. I heard about the Philly show on their Instagram I can’t even imagine. Especially when they are from the Ukraine who knows when they’ll be around again. Hopefully soon with the new release coming up.
I am glad that I bought my ticket to see Jinjer in May for their September 29th show in Baltimore. The show was sold out like a majority of their shows on their north American tour. So when they tour again in north America buy tickets ASAP. Hell their European tour when they go back to Europe has a majority of their shows sold out already. Not only that but some of these shows are listed as an upgrade. I guess Jinjer tickets are in such high demand that the shows listed as upgrade are getting moved to bigger venues in these cities. Jinjer's popularity and fan base is growing very rapidly.

@@dmusiclife5727 my neck is sore. I had cramps from dehydration. I was splashed repeatedly with beer from moshing young'uns! So... Yep, it was awesome! It was SO good.
It was my third time seeing them live. Once last October in Lexington, Kentucky when they opened for Devil Driver, and twice this tour in St Louis and Columbus. They were awesome every time, but last night was definitely my favorite. The energy was fantastic.
They have played the same Playlist for the whole tour, always ending the show with "Pisces" for the encore. Last week they added "On The Top" to the set list, which is even better live, as you can imagine. When they left the stage the crowd started chanting "one more song" and "Pisces". They came out and Roman started the intro, crowd goes wild. They perform a flawless version, and immediately flow into the intro of "Captain Clock"... Crowd goes ape shit, because no one was expecting 2 songs. It was a such a great time.
Sumo Cyco was terrific again, and they just destroyed the place. They're very accessible off stage as well. Just great people.

The show was phenomenal the level of talent in this band is mind blowing. Theres a couple of small vid clips we took on our way to the show but when Jinjer took the stage phone was off in my pocket. Not only out of respect to the band but I wasn’t going to miss out on the experience. I wanted to be completely in the moment no distractions. We’ll probably throw up some of the vids on the next Jinjer post 🤘

gtrsean We Know indeed man! No question 🔥🔥🔥 The aliens gave us a Uber back but took us on a detour. We’ll have some small vids we took on our way up to the show on the next Jinjer post which is “Who’s Going To Be The One” “Live” just need to finish up on the editing. But when it came time for Jinjer to take the stage phone was off in my pocket. I wanted to enjoy the experience to the fullest without any BS phone distractions. And also didn’t want to disrespect the band having the phone out
Respect! I'm 53 and have never owned a cell. I'm among the last of the holdouts. I too want to fully hear , see and absorb a performance. I took my 24 year old daughter to the show. Of coarse , she is a Metal fan. : ) I used her I Phone for the meet & greet pics and took a few photos of Sumo Cyco and Jinjer. A dozen total. My daughter and I dug Sumo Cyco. My daughter especially. She went to their merch table after their set and bought a Tee and a Beanie. She chatted a bit with their singer Skye. Now , The Browning. Both of us were bored and felt they were just "meh". That's being kind. : ) The droning EDM backing tracks and constant telling the crowd to make a circle pit , put your hands up etc. became tiresome and cheesy. Their whole set sounded the same. We wished that Sumo Cyco would have had a full set and The Browning not included on the bill. My opinion.
