Every time I see a snippet of this show I can't believe the incredible talent in cast, sets, and orchestra! It must have been great to watch in person!! I heard Hugh Jackman and his standing were good but they are AMAZING!!
It was my privilege to see the show in August. To see it live was an absolute joyful experience. There are very few people that can command a stage like Hugh Jackman. He may be the best entertainer of our time. Then add Sutton Foster to the stage, and you have an unbeatable combination.
Amazing!! I wish I were in NYC right now. What a group of talented young actors/dancers. Love the choreography and everything about this show! PS: Hugh is not a bad dancer either!!!
I was at the same show on the same day this was filmed! Saw it from the first row on the Mezzanine towards the center- the person filming was probably right underneath me lol. Fun show!
You lucky woman!! Must have been amazing! My brother and his then girlfriend, now wife of 40+ years, played the leads in our highschool musical. It's always been an extra special show for us.
@@sroberts7079 That's amazing to have that kind of connection to the show! This was my first Broadway show (in NY) and I loved it! I saw the show with my family on New Year's day and it's something I'll never forget!
@@katherinepollock A wonderful way to begin the new year! My mom and I spent several days in NYC back in 1992. Among other amazing things, we saw Miss Saigon and The Grand Hotel. We had a blast! I'm lucky enough to have season tickets to 10 shows a year where I live. Love every minute!
It’s always been a dance show, so shipoopi with them and you’ll feel the joy. I directed the show at the high school I taught at and attracted so many to audition due to the dance. They haded more to show off Hugh’s physical endurance. Bursting out in a song after all that foot work is miraculous.
These kids in the chorus are fantastic all the way through the show.
What a fun dance number!! The young people did a wonderful job with all the choreography! Hugh Jackman, too!!

Yesss, id watch it like all the time 😭
Hugh can wiggle his tush better than ANYONE!! The whole production must have been awesome...

And now they're a couple! It's apparently true, Google it.
Hugh Jackman is a freaking dreamboat jeez

Just WOW! What an amazing cast and production! Wish I had been there!
fantastic finale! of the first act.
Wonderful perform on all of them 👏 ❤️
Saw it!! Loved it!!!!
7:22 "Then I modestly took my place as the one and only bass, and I oom-pahed up and down the square!!!"
2:27 A FULL OCTAVE HIGHER THAN THE SCORE!!!
how is the camera quality so good
Ahaha is just iPhone 11
@@thecutehuey OHHHH That explains the weird edges on everything, still a nice capture
It sounds to me as though it is set about a third too high for Hugh Jackman - he’s straining for much of the time.
Do you have any other songs :)?
Yes, check my profile
@@thecutehuey haha I saw those! I meant other than that :)
@@thecutehuey Yes! I would love to see other videos from the show if you have any more to upload!
Yes I have others I’ll upload
I uploaded like 3/4 I’ll upload more. I’ll do some playlists too
Is this the final show
No
Hugh jackman’s voice is not up to broadway standards. They brought him in because of his name, not because he can sing
I don't think anyone minds at all.
He is fantastic!
Do I dare say his voice is not something I enjoy. Way too much vibrato.
Too much dancing for my taste.
