You'll only be getting that Fireproof Mantle in the first first by interacting with the corpse. There's no other way. Exit the game, travel away or just try again.
This is so stupid. There are so many bosses you have to fight just to get all 4 vessels. It's like saying you can lift heavier things, if you go work out at the gym more. No, duh.

So I had the Scorpion jump out during this fight and I help the beast defeat the scorpion. Then I took out the beast. 🎉 Wooooo
