Same here, I thought I could not vote from Japan (Rakuten Shouken) but after listening to Alexandra Merz I found some X posts from other Rakuten clients and it is possible to vote by requesting it on the contact form. Only point to note is that Rakuten closes the ability to vote around one week early (I guess they need the time to compile the votes since it is a rather manual system).

Thank you for making a great product and listening to your customers. Every day it puts a smile on my face getting inside of my car. I love the tech and minimalism they are fantastic. I love the acceleration it's ridiculously fast. Having no stalks is awesome. The auto shift out of park is 99 percent accurate. It is so small but it makes a difference. Another thing that is so simple but so satisfying is when I take my seatbelt off and the car goes into park. Mind blown 🤯🤯. The constant software updates are awesome. I literally feel like I'm driving another new car. The " spring " update is amazing. I love the UI and the hands free trunk is a game changer and to think I got this with a software update and not hardware. Simply amazing. Thank you Tesla for making awesome products. Customer for life 👍🏻😎

I told everyone freaking out when it happened they were being idiots. It was a ruling that the required procedures were not properly followed, which was true. Elon had already taken the money and done stuff, there was no way to practically take the money back from him. Following the steps properly and redoing the vote was always what was going to happen. I can't afford the new ones, my best bet is second hand but they are still new and expensive. Making more of them will ensure I can get one for the right price point with age and mileage.

I think this home HVAC system should take heat from my freezers and refrigerators, and dump it into my hot water tank. It should take hydronic heating from fireplaces, and redistribute it to the floor. It should be able to move heat around the home from liquid cooled computers, to hot tubs and AC, the heat should be moved to where it's needed. The inefficiency of my fridge dumping the heat out the back, or the bottom, warming my floor tiles, just to have the heat pump take that heat and move it outside.... Why not have it come straight from the fridge, to somewhere it will be useful, like my hot water tank, rather than outdoors? The more heat and cooling sources in the home you can tap into this way, the more efficient the home becomes. And the Octovalve, or some iteration of it, seems capable of controlling this type of setup.
Super kool thought. However we will soon stop preserving energy. The whole star rating and extreme efficiency will not matter. We have kind of solved the energy problem(transmission is still an issue) all we need is to scale it up. Also I think this is our worst attempt (renewables like solar, wind) and even that is like 40-50 times better. The universe is at motion always and motion requires energy and energy can be converted. So energy can be solved now with our f'ed up attempt so in future it won't be a problem at all
Great idea, the problem is moving heat between multiple sources and sinks is fiddly, hard to program, low efficiency unless the temperature differential is big, and unreliable. I know this because my house had solar thermal tubes backed up by an air-water heat pump heating both my domestic hot water and hydronic radiant floors. The system ended up with multiple cooling and heating loops at different temperatures, two heat exchangers, a dozen variable speed pumps, multiple zone valve controllers, thermostats everywhere, ... It never worked correctly, it was impossible to program it in reverse to cool the house and use the heat extracted for hot water, and no one could understand it to fully fix it. After a few $700 repairs I found a plumber willing to figure out the system enough to rip out most of the parts, and just have one domestic hot water tank struggle to send heat through a heat exchanger to our underfloor heating loops. And I installed a simple (expensive) standard Mitsubishi ductless mini split heat pump to circulate hot or cold air through most of the house. A car is a uniform device where the sources and sinks of heat are close together. Your dream will require builders to settle on a ruthlessly standardized home design that can accept a modular core containing most of the appliances, plumbing, heat exchangers, and vents, and a much smarter system controller that knows how to meet occupants' needs based on the weather outside. In the meantime it will be up to homeowners to be smart about siting appliances, opening windows and vents, and turning on fans to move heat around.

I’m on FSD 12.3.6 and still getting interventions on the daily. Bay bridge going into Annapolis, MD is dangerous if you’re in the far left lane (which can be used bidirectional).
Similar experience, same bridge. Right lane westbound was closed, showing the red X overhead. I was in the middle lane with traffic slow. FSD decided to move to the closed lane and sped up. Immediate intervention required.

Crane Trucks, Logging Trucks, are also interesting "Extensions" to the base line of Semi's!

Some of those are more appropriate for the Model S and X, but Tesla needs to improve all its models at the rate it used to.

I have no desire to swap my ICE vehicle just to swap the engine to electric. For me the change to EV is also about the vehicle technology platform and Tesla leads the way. There is no other vehicle with the capabilities of a Tesla today and with their ability to keep updating it will stay that way for ages. I hope to be able to purchase one soon, although I might wait for a MY refresh then make my purchase, since I plan to have my EV Platform for a while.

The biggest cost barrier now to Tesla's more than the monthly fee appears to be insurance. Including Tesla insurance. Big sticker shock hopefully will be addressed through reduced repair costs.
I would have asked Elon two questions: - Tesla won't have all vehicle types but can make all vehicles autonomous. So does Tesla intend to sell full FSD to, for example, bus manufacturers. In Master Plan Part Deux, a minibus was considered, so maybe Tesla will make it but not big buses, articulated and bi-articulated. And the rest of world outside North America loves buses. So making buses autonomous would be cool. By the way, already many cities are clogged in traffic and since FSD cars will dramatically increase demand, we definitively need more mass transit! So is Tesla in talk to sell FSD? - Tesla should probably make a van which will of course be autonomous. Couple it with Optimus and you have full autonomous parcel delivery from warehouse to the door bell. Is Tesla considering this coupling of the two of their most promising technologies?

Too many would be clients are renters and can just barely afford the car, they don’t want to commit to infrastructure into a house that is not theirs (most 3 floor apartments literally need a new Service main panel upgrade, and as renters we do not want to fork that over)
I literally had the car and* had to painfully downgrade to a Prius Prime because I live on the third floor of an apartment as a renter. Electricians came in and quoted me beyond my expectations due to service upgrades needed to stay kosher. 🥲

She found " the process leading to the approval of musk's Compensation Plan was deeply flawed. Musk had extensive ties with the person's tasks with negotiating on Tesla's behalf." The working group working on the pay package included Musk's former divorce attorney! Do you understand the difference between the pay deal, the results, and the process? It's the latter that was messed up.
Tesla is a public company owned by its shareholders. It is not Elon Musk's piggy bank. The ongoing tragedy is the board is still stacked with friends and cronies and is not independent.
I told everyone freaking out when it happened they were being idiots. It was a ruling that the required procedures were not properly followed, which was true. Elon had already taken the money and done stuff, there was no way to practically take the money back from him. Following the steps properly and redoing the vote was always what was going to happen. Elon and team freaking out about it was always dumb.

I can't afford the new ones, my best bet is second hand but they are still new and expensive. Making more of them will ensure I can get one for the right price point with age and mileage.

I think this home HVAC system should take heat from my freezers and refrigerators, and dump it into my hot water tank. It should take hydronic heating from fireplaces, and redistribute it to the floor. It should be able to move heat around the home from liquid cooled computers, to hot tubs and AC, the heat should be moved to where it's needed. The inefficiency of my fridge dumping the heat out the back, or the bottom, warming my floor tiles, just to have the heat pump take that heat and move it outside.... Why not have it come straight from the fridge, to somewhere it will be useful, like my hot water tank, rather than outdoors? The more heat and cooling sources in the home you can tap into this way, the more efficient the home becomes. And the Octovalve, or some iteration of it, seems capable of controlling this type of setup.

Super kool thought. However we will soon stop preserving energy. The whole star rating and extreme efficiency will not matter. We have kind of solved the energy problem(transmission is still an issue) all we need is to scale it up. Also I think this is our worst attempt (renewables like solar, wind) and even that is like 40-50 times better. The universe is at motion always and motion requires energy and energy can be converted. So energy can be solved now with our f'ed up attempt so in future it won't be a problem at all
Great idea, the problem is moving heat between multiple sources and sinks is fiddly, hard to program, low efficiency unless the temperature differential is big, and unreliable. I know this because my house had solar thermal tubes backed up by an air-water heat pump heating both my domestic hot water and hydronic radiant floors. The system ended up with multiple cooling and heating loops at different temperatures, two heat exchangers, a dozen variable speed pumps, multiple zone valve controllers, thermostats everywhere, ... It never worked correctly, it was impossible to program it in reverse to cool the house and use the heat extracted for hot water, and no one could understand it to fully fix it. After a few $700 repairs I found a plumber willing to figure out the system enough to rip out most of the parts, and just have one domestic hot water tank struggle to send heat through a heat exchanger to our underfloor heating loops. And I installed a simple (expensive) standard Mitsubishi ductless mini split heat pump to circulate hot or cold air through most of the house.
A car is a uniform device where the sources and sinks of heat are close together. Your dream will require builders to settle on a ruthlessly standardized home design that can accept a modular core containing most of the appliances, plumbing, heat exchangers, and vents, and a much smarter system controller that knows how to meet occupants' needs based on the weather outside. In the meantime it will be up to homeowners to be smart about siting appliances, opening windows and vents, and turning on fans to move heat around.

I’m on FSD 12.3.6 and still getting interventions on the daily. Bay bridge going into Annapolis, MD is dangerous if you’re in the far left lane (which can be used bidirectional).
Similar experience, same bridge. Right lane westbound was closed, showing the red X overhead. I was in the middle lane with traffic slow. FSD decided to move to the closed lane and sped up. Immediate intervention required.

That question was kind of weird. Isn’t that type of infrastructure something the city should pay for? I have no desire to swap my ICE vehicle just to swap the engine to electric. For me the change to EV is also about the vehicle technology platform and Tesla leads the way. I hope to be able to purchase one soon, although I might wait for a MY refresh then make my purchase, since I plan to have my EV Platform for a while.

The biggest cost barrier now to Tesla's more than the monthly fee appears to be insurance. Including Tesla insurance. Big sticker shock hopefully will be addressed through reduced repair costs.

I would have asked Elon two questions:
- Tesla won't have all vehicle types but can make all vehicles autonomous. So does Tesla intend to sell full FSD to, for example, bus manufacturers. In Master Plan Part Deux, a minibus was considered, so maybe Tesla will make it but not big buses, articulated and bi-articulated. And the rest of world outside North America loves buses. So making buses autonomous would be cool. By the way, already many cities are clogged in traffic and since FSD cars will dramatically increase demand, we definitively need more mass transit! So is Tesla in talk to sell FSD?
- Tesla should probably make a van which will of course be autonomous. Couple it with Optimus and you have full autonomous parcel delivery from warehouse to the door bell. Is Tesla considering this coupling of the two of their most promising technologies?
1:44:40 The limiter to be frank is that people do not own a safe space to charge it from. Too many would be clients are renters and can just barely afford the car, they don’t want to commit to infrastructure into a house that is not theirs (most 3 floor apartments literally need a new Service main panel upgrade, and as renters we do not want to fork that over)
I literally had the car and* had to painfully downgrade to a Prius Prime because I live on the third floor of an apartment as a renter. Electricians came in and quoted me beyond my expectations due to service upgrades needed to stay kosher. 🥲
