The 2024 Nissan Altima SL trim with all-wheel drive presents a traditional option in a market dominated by SUVs, offering a nod to classic sedan styling. Despite feeling slightly outdated, the Altima is available in four trims: S, SV, SR, and SL, with the latter three available with all-wheel drive. The SR trim also has an option for a more powerful engine, though choosing this engine limits the car to front-wheel drive only. The reviewed SL model features a Garnet Pearl metallic exterior and a light interior that straddles the line between gray and beige, with wood trim accents that might feel old-fashioned to some.

My dad had an Altima for a while a few years ago, and I remember just how good the seats were. I have a lot of admiration and respect for the Altima.

I agree about Nissan's comfortable seat and ride. I just bought an Altima a couple of days ago, and the awesome seats were one of the selling points. SO comfortable on the long trip back home. While I was at the dealership I sat in all the vehicles that were inside, so I sat in every model. They all have those awesome zero gravity seats, from the smallest car to the truck. Comfort is at least one thing that Nissan is the best at. As some of you get older, you may also care about that.

Interesting there was no mention of the CVT Transmission on this generation of the Altima - that has been the Achilles Heel for most Nissan sedans in the past 10 years. As a former owner of a 2013 Nissan Altima that suffered multiple CVT failures, I would never trust Nissan again

Their latest CVTs have significantly improved. They've transitioned to using metal belts or chains instead of rubber ones, among other enhancements. Nowadays, complaints about their newer cars (from 2019 onwards) are rare, with most issues being associated with the older models.

@@RodrigoMJ32 Or maybe you're a paid Nissan Troll - there is literally a class action suit against the 2013 Altima because of the inordinately high number of CVT failures - Nice try to discredit the consumer rather than hold companies accountable.

Interior is fine. Octogenarian? Lol ok. Maybe it is a lil better in the SR? I heard the sharpness isnt great on the screen ..for the camera.

Drove a 2024 SV trim as a rental. This is the most uninspiring vehicle I've ever driven. Feels ultra cheap, doesn't ride particularly comfortably and the materials feel like they were pulled right out from the budget bin. The CVT makes the engine loudly drone under load and the vehicle feels more sluggish than a 2011 Corolla we once owned.
For a brand that advertises 'performance' and 'sportiness', this thing is an embarrassment.

At 2:30 of the video is reported that car has 15.4 cubic feet or 436 liters of trunk or boot space. This is the typical FAKE GOURMET sedan, the one that comes ready to be swallowed by an SUV. In the ranking of decent sedans (TOP 500 SEDANS) with a trunk capacity above 500 liters or 17.6 cubic feet it does not enter. It has a mediocre trunk smaller than hatchback cars. It's a disappointing sedan.
