Obviously, I don't know your circumstances but if you have the ability to find a reason to talk to her, I guess she'd appreciate it much more. I don't mean it in a way of pretending you want something completely different than your actual intention but rather there is a reason for your first encounter. There might be something work-related to talk to her, maybe a change at your job or something like that. Just simply something that she's able to focus on when first meeting you.
