Yep, I live in La Marque and had a 20 ft wide Steering console aluminum boat. We got tired of competing with spaces. So we got a boat. I put in my garage and have to modify the trailer to be reduce the length. We sold the boat 12 years ago. Wife injured in car accident. Muck up her back and removal of right leg. Fun times. Mostly Catch and Release. Mostly along the few inlets. Also the mosquitos were very few
Free crabs over on the 61st by the boat ramp tons of crabs under the fishing docks Use flashlights to see them at night ... and over by hooters parking lot
Awesome night on the pier, Mark, that was some intense bull red fishing! I bet that would wear me out in about an hour! Great video, take care and be safe!
FYI I am a student there and you have to be a guest of a student and to fish this location. This is where we do research on fish population and exc. Campus police will kick you out and if seen multiple times I have seen people get charged.
I think this is an important point. I feel like this video is giving g people the wrong impression that it’s ok to go fish there without any ties to the school. Perhaps, one of these folks is a student or employee of TAMUG, but it might help if you provide a disclaimer.
By the way we’re very fortunate for these fish even though bull reds are only a game fish , don’t try to eat redfish over 28 they got warms , friendly message
Well, A&m police about to be busy over the next couple of weeks with them trespass tickets.😂😂😂 Now Mark, you know I'm the King of blue crabs around these streets. Hit me up, I got you.😂 Lastly, Mark how you going to cast over three people's line at the beginning of the video. You must be from up north.😂
I’ve been living in Galveston for over 14 years… and still haven’t caught a huge red or flounder smh 🤦🏾♂️… imma get off the old dead shrimp and squid lol
Is it mostly sand down there , I’m a lil skeptical about spider waits unless I’m fishing for shark just because then things dig in and sometimes you can’t set the hook accurately
$10 for couple crabs, my way $3 for chicken necks and catch couple dozens crabs for bait, $6 Walmart minnow trap 2slices of bread all the minnows I want, just saying !!!
We pay a shit load to go to this school and people can't keep our spots a secret. If your a guest I don't care but don't dox a spot people pay 25k or so a year to live learn and fish.
What about 4th year drop outs of A&M 😂 The Texas A&M policy appears to be current employees, students, and approved guests. Former students are not included so ymmv
why would you cast over two peoples lines instead of casting straight out in front of where you are at on the pier that is just uncool. Learn pier etiquette.
Cool to see a pier trip captured in such detail! Glad we had such an epic night, looking forward to the flounder trip :)
Us too! Thanks again for inviting us to fish y’all’s amazing pier.
Never seen a better fishing channel than this. Authentic raw video format and feeling.
I appreciate it 👍.
Ceviche with Spanish mackrel is the best bucause of them being pelagic species of Tuna family. Excellent meat to cook with lemon or lime.

Wow, you had an amazing night at the pier.
Yes it was!
Great catches of Bull Reds. Love it.

I love your channel, unfortunately I can't stand watching all the ads and will be going to Rumble.
I love your support, unfortunately I can't disable the ads because I won't earn money for my work. I'm going to miss you.

Are you still a student there? Could I go as a guest of yours one day?
On your way to Galveston you should stop at Fiesta for shrinp and crab. They jave good size fish and fresh crab 🦀
Next time!
By the way we’re very fortunate for these fish even though bull reds are only a game fish , don’t try to eat redfish over 28 they got warms , friendly message
I ate a 40 in her the other day, was delicious! No worms
Never had an issue with worms in bull reds. Just a tougher texture than the slots.
That's a good spot I haven't been there in years
Caught my first flounder there. Fished in between pier and the land on live shrimp
👍
you snuck in there or you a student?

actually around fall, quite a few people try to sneak in there and fish, i did it for a few times many years ago.
@@asianangler all I know is them A&M police don't play. All the videos I see on TH-cam of this spot is people getting kicked out. 😂😂
😂… I need them 🦀🦀🦀
@@TheFishAndTrips oh i know, i was able to sneak in there many many years ago when they weren't so strict.
As long as you can stand the smell of sulfur!
Nice!!! Well done and WTG!
Thank you 👍
Ive fished there once and caught 3 reds and some big black drum came back the next day and limited out on flounder all 18+
It’s a great spot.
Bull reds are cool but the Spanish mackrel is what I’m after
where do you park witout getting booted?
Can you teach some techniques about how to get green light?
The 3$ fake a&m student id I bought from ebay works when I go to that spot and gets asked it never fails always get to catch the giants
find that hard to believe lol
I’ve been living in Galveston for over 14 years… and still haven’t caught a huge red or flounder smh 🤦🏾♂️… imma get off the old dead shrimp and squid lol
I know old video but any specks popping in the lights if you recall?
None at all.
That's how it's done. What kind of ghoulish fishing expedition are planning for Halloween?
😂 not sure
Is it mostly sand down there , I’m a lil skeptical about spider waits unless I’m fishing for shark just because then things dig in and sometimes you can’t set the hook accurately
You got to use a circle hook bro
Who can put me down as there guest 😳?! I fish seawolf park but this place looks amazing!
I’ve been trying to fish that pier for a long time. I heard that you couldn’t fish it.
$10 for couple crabs, my way $3 for chicken necks and catch couple dozens crabs for bait, $6 Walmart minnow trap 2slices of bread all the minnows I want, just saying !!!
Thanks for sharing this great information!
Where is this pier at? The only 2 piers I know of are the 61st and 92nd pier.
It's the private Texas A&M school pier. Have to be a student or guest of one to gain access.
@@MDLRFishing maybe that’s why I’ve never seen it! Lol
So if I am not fishing on the pier but it’s ok to fishing on the sand area next to it?
No. They will kick you off property if not student or employee
Thanks
I tried to fish there awhile ago but was told no.was told employeee or students only...🤨
a&m students can bring a guest with them
didnt bother to fish for flattie?
Willing to pay anyone to get me on the pier😂
20 bucks to whoever has me as a guest 😂
Just go to 61st street pier in galveston, caught some monsters there.
The pier says you must have a student ID card to fish it. Did you just go?
Give a like for good eats fish , give a dislike for bull reds
Unable to post on your account?
What account?
Where are ya"ll what pier
Texas A&M private pier. Need to be a student or guest of one.
Is the pier public to everyone?
Students and their guests only.
@@MDLRFishing so who's your TAMU buddy? :)

Or you’re not allowed to
reminder, the A&M pier is for students and alum before everyone goes down there.
Yeah. The school police will come and kick you out
No fishing means good fishing

Mark..do you use Verizon or Tmobile as far as phone carrier
why would you cast over two peoples lines instead of casting straight out in front of where you are at on the pier that is just uncool. Learn pier etiquette.
Why would you advertise a fishing spot not open to the general public?
Do you only watch to find spots 🤔.
Security will chase you away if you're not a student/faculty or former student.
