Jinjer - Pit of Consciousness (Live in Kiev) Jinjer - On The Top (Live in Kiev) Jinjer - Who Is Gonna Be The One (Official Live) Jinjer - Judgement & Punishment (Tatiana One Take Vocal) Jinjer - Captain Clock (Live at Resurrection Fest 2018) Jinjer - Audiotree From Nothing (Live Performance)
Fuck yeah I want more Jinjer! Excellent reaction. You just barely dipped your toe in the rabbit hole so far. It's a deep deep hole, and it just gets curiouser and curiouser. Everything about this is indeed perfection. In fact pretty much everything they do is close to perfection. I'm here for all the Jinjer. My favorite band since Rush retired.
Tati is a goddess. She was made to be a front woman. She's stunning. She sings like an angel, screams like a demon, is a fashion icon, and just commands your attention on that stage. And absolute legend. BTW, this set was riddled with technical difficulties. There were multiple stages at the festival, all going at the same time, and for the first half of the set she was getting someone from another show in her in-ear monitors. She couldn't hear herself for basically the entire thing. Then for the last couple songs it all came together. And they sounded amazing.
I saw them live 3 times. And I cannot wait for the fourth. For me they are best metal band nowadays. Tatiana is wonderful. Soft and brutal. Thanks for your reaction, cheers from Italy.
Great reaction! Since you're still pretty new to Jinjer, I recommend the video Audiotree | From Nothing. It's a brief, interesting and entertaining crash-course on Jinjer through the band's own words and live studio performances of 3 great tracks from their 2021 Wallflowers album ("Vortex", "Wallflower" and "Dead Hands Feel No Pain"). The live performances are *awesome,* and their discussions give you a good sense of their history, relationships with each other and their attitudes about their art. It's around 23 minutes long, but well worth a reaction.
Nice. The unsung hero of Jinjer is their sound engineering crew. They sound really, really good live, particularly when headlining their own shows. Saw them last year in a small room (500 people) and the mix was top notch. Jinjer are one of those bands where everything appears to be meticulously thought about and procured.....from Vlad's choice of cymbals to what audio set-up they are running. The sound quality, mix, etc. in the Audiotree From Nothing series featuring Jinjer is excellent. Side note, the entire Audiotree From Nothing series is fantastic....the Jinjer and Loathe ones in particular are great. Stoked to see Jinjer again on back-to-back nights in PA and MD later this month. Anyhoo, keep rocking. 🤘
I've seen them live in concert twice, and they are just amazing. All of them, but especially Tatiana herself. She's become, if anything, even more confident than she is in this video, as hard as that may be to believe. She is just spectacular now. Great reaction, I'm glad you've returned to Jinjer. The wheel picked the perfect video. Do I want more Jinjer? Yes ma'am! How about Teacher, Teacher!
When they headline they have an even cleaner setup. They don't use any wedges just in-ears. Lately Tatiana has gone from the small platform she has here to something almost as wide as the drum riser.
thank you very much for your complex reaction to a very unusual band in the best way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been a musician myself for a long time and have been a music lover in various musical genres for over 50 years, but Jinjer is something else entirely! Jinjer is surrounded by a musical + human magic: I myself am over 60 and I'm very enthusiastic about this band and have been for 8 years now. And I have heard many, many bands in the last 50 years. My suggestion for you, maybe a double feature of their latest 2 songs, which have just been released recently: JINJER - Someone's Daughter (Official Video) JINJER - Rogue (Official Video) You can experience once again what musical potential the band has, it's unbelievable.............. lovely greetings from germany & from the german musician > subbed!
Perennial is from the 2019 EP Micro, newer than Pisces which ifs from the 2016 2nd album. Song wasn't supposed to be the closer here. They were scheduled first on at like 11 a.m., but went on late due to the sound guys having issues. When they did get on, they played as much of their set as remaining time allowed. The sound was still iffy for most of the set, finally got it figured out, or close to it, for this last song. Vlad is classically trained on piano and self taught on drums, with some jazz in his background as well. I'm not a musician, so I don't know if there were polyrhythms or not, but he is definitely capable. They often use multiple time signatures, and Vlad is very good at ghost notes. Roman on guitar, and Eugene on bass are just outstanding too. They are putting out new music this year. Music videos for "Someone's Daughter" and "Rogue" are now out. "Rogue is all harsh vocal, "Someone's Daughter" has a great mix of cleans and harsh.
In addition these festivals don't provide a multitrack recording of any of the bands. If a band wants something this good they have to do it themselves or make arrangements to have it done. Which is why this song is the only one in the set that got recorded with any decent quality. It's a shame that bar bands that haul their own gear in 2024 have a better chance of getting decent multitrack recordings of their performances than the bands at these huge festivals do. Yet the festivals use sub-standard recordings of bands for their promotional stuff on TH-cam. Done the way I was doing board recordings for bar bands in the 80s.
Any of the officially released live videos would be the first thing I suggest. They are all epic. That said, they never skimp on their OMVs and those are great too. But the OMVs usually get overshadowed by live releases eventually. Some OMVs that have stood the test of time and dodged having a live video stomp on them are Teacher Teacher and I Speak Astronomy.
Just a heads up on a overlooked STELLAR ( even for them ) performance... check out " I speak Astronomy " ( Live at Summer Breeze 2018 ) they FOR SURE go off on this one.
Hello, hello. You paused the video and analyzed the cables on the floor. I'll surprise you and tell you that the guitarist keeps one guitar amp at the back of the stage. It is a classic tube amplifier with a loudspeaker built in a soundproof chamber. The sound from this amplifier goes to a multi pedal on stage where both signals are mixed. Besides, a super sensitive reaction, you passed the exam to become a heavy metal fiancée xd!
I'm going to loot your videos again because it's been a minute since I've caught your content. Hopefully you've cooked your noodle with *Igorrr - tout petite moineau*. Infected Rain and Null Positive are a couple related bands with femme vocalists. Corvyx is an impressive vocalist who's been doing a ton of impressive covers of things ranging from Celine Dion and Adele to Evanescence and Tool.
The Pisces video is live, but Tati's voice has been heavily pitch-corrected. I just checked, and she has been corrected here too in post. Not autotune - the crowd will have heard the real thing. Such a shame that manufactured pop has led us to expect pitch perfection. I would much rather hear the real Tati.
Your smile watching this says absolutely everything. They are truly masters of their trade and you genuinely feel that.

Oh wow…haha, the stage looked great…wireless audio/monitor setup..apparently not so great🤣😅
Shut up

Despite not being a musician, Sasha is the 5th member of Jinjer and he's much more than just their sound technician, he's like their older brother. 😄
The expressiveness and emotion in your reactions has moved me!!! Thanks!!!!
Oh my goodness, thank you! That means a lot
One of my faves is an oldie... Outlander
Hopefully, the official live!
My favorite performance is Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev
Yeah favorite live performance, vortex is still my favorite song.
Please more Jinjer. Pit of Consciousness live at Kiev is a great performance.

Beautiful reaction to a beautiful song! Thank you! the official music video of "Someone's Daughter" should be on your wheel ...
Jinjer is awesome. Great lyrics

Every time I watch this performance, I can’t help but hear Tati tell the audience that they’re “Wacken amazing” instead of “fucking amazing.”
“Vortex” music video and “Who Is Gonna Be The One” live performance. 👍🏼
my fav live and maybe song ever from them haha..this one specifically holds a special spot for me
I’d recommend “Who Is Gonna Be The One” live (not at Wacken) it’s an older performance but one of my favorites. ✌🏼👍🏼

Yes! More please😁
