@@mikek9297, а ещё она русская, точнее из Украины. При желании здесь в TH-cam можно найти видео где она на квартире поёт по-русски под гитару (правда если эти видео ещё есть, давно смотрел, несколько лет назад).
You are absolutely right. Tati sounds just as good live as she does on their recordings. I got to see them live back in July. the entire band is unbelievable. Tatiana is one big ball of energy that owns the stage. I can't wait to see the again.
Jinjer - Pit of Consciousness (Live in Kiev) Jinjer - On The Top (Live in Kiev) Jinjer - Who Is Gonna Be The One (Official Live) Jinjer - Judgement & Punishment (Tatiana One Take Vocal) Jinjer - Teacher Teacher (Official Video) Jinjer - Captain Clock (Live at Resurrection Fest 2018)
Very happy seeing Jinjer back on your channel! This is a very deep rabbit hole to fall into as this band truly doesn't have a bad song! Awesome reaction!
Love seeing new people get into Jinjer! If you think she has range now, definitely gotta hear Judgement & Punishment (the one take vocal video is great) and Teacher, Teacher. Her style of singing is absolutely a learned skill. She practiced, wanting to not sound like a girl when she sang growls. Even still, she says she “forgets” how to do it between records/tours and has to retrain herself. But it’s a technique of properly using false vocal cords, to get that sound without causing damage. I don’t know enough to explain it more haha I was able to see them when they played with Breaking Benjamin and Disturbed, and I wish they were the headliner. Stole the show. If you’re into this more progressive style that changes tone throughout songs, Opeth is incredible, and they are one of the original growl metal bands. Ghosts of Perdition is a masterpiece song.
Whoa whoa whoa, are we sure she's ready for Opeth? They may be my favorite band but I know they're a lot for someone who might not be familiar with metal.
@@darkphoenix2 Interesting. Opeth is the band that got me into heavier stuff. Given, I was already a fan of metal/hard rock, but stuff more like Mastodon, not growls. I do think Opeth can be good for newbies, with the right direction, given the incredible tone of his voice and the flawless instrumentation. They may get heavy, but they are also incredibly melodic and musical. To be honest, I would have waited on Perennial, because it’s kind of going all in haha but idk maybe you’re right.
@@Donovanlefferts Don't get me wrong, based on her reaction to Jinjer I'm sure she could appreciate the musicianship of Opeth. But Ghost of Perdition is a complex song. Much more "progressive" than anything in Jinjer's catalogue.
Great to see some more Jinjer here... she is just awesome and the everyone in the band is so talented. Hopefully next reaction is to "Teacher, Teacher" another absolutely great song!
Seen them live four times now and everytime is perfection. Such a tight cohesive band and truly gifted individuals. Can’t wait to see more Jinjer from you…such a journey ahead!
Welcome to the reaction community, Stacey. I discovered your channel last night, and binge watched what you've done so far. Excellent start. Tatianna is entirely self taught as a vocalist, including the false fold screams. I got to see the band live 13 months ago, here in St. Louis, they do sound just as good live, and Tatianna is even more attractive in person, which is saying something. Roman on guitar, Eugene on bass, and Vlad on drums. Vlad actually learned guitar and piano first, then taught himself the drums. Some other songs to listen to: 'Teacher, Teacher', 'I Speak Astronomy', 'Vortex', 'Wallflower', and 'Homeback' are some of my favorite Jinjer songs. Other bands like them? I'd also look into Infected Rain, a metalcore band from Moldova. Frontwoman Lena Scissorhands is also quite impressive. I also suggest Space of Variations, another Ukrainian band that I saw open for Jinjer last year.
I loved your reaction to this, Stacey. Other Jinjer tracks I recommend: "Teacher Teacher" the official music video, "Judgement (and Punishment)" Tatiana's One-Take Vocal version, "Just Another" the official music video, "On The Top" and "Pit of Consciousness" both live in Kiev, "Vortex" the official music video, "Who is Going to Be The One" live, "Home Back" the official music video, this is a personal one for the band as it relates to the invasion of their part of the Ukraine by Russian troops; a couple of earlier tracks with a previous Drummer, "I Speak Astronomy" the official music video and "Sit, Stay, Roll Over". There are other tracks but these are good ones to continue with.
Tati is a force of nature, isn't she? And yet so sweet. What great band, what a find! I bumped into them 3 or 4 years ago and it was love at first hearing. Great reaction! Keep it coming!! A hug from Brasil
SPIRITBOX!!!! I will keep commenting it till you react to them! Female fronted, super sensual vocals, screams, and such technically musical geniuses! As a drummer, I would be dripping in sweat every single time we played whether it practice or a show... you have to use all 4 limbs and they are all doing something different.. I used to do a 30 min long drum solo while everyone else took a break... I had fans on me, but still... covered in sweat head to toe lol I do have some music on my channel that I have done. Also, Jinjer IS just as great live as they are on studio! I seen them last November. I totally get you Stacy!!!
Another great reaction! Love your journey! Their songs have such wonderful contrast and Tatiana's vocals are perhaps the most notable example. There are so many scenarios where you could see her only sing or only growl and she would still be exceptional, but what makes her truly special is her ability to do both as a single performance. It is the depth of her growls that makes her clean's all the more sublime. The band's song structure also builds and flows, giving spots for the listener to rest a bit before picking back up, all while blending grooves and genres effortlessly. The "Pisces" video was actually meant as Vlad, (the drummer's) showcase and intro to Jinjer. Tatiana has said she doesn't understand why that song is so popular, lol as a woman growling was not news to her. Please check out "Judgement and Punishment" one take, "Teacher, Teacher", "Vortex", and "I speak Astronomy". Also "Bad Water" is one of the only songs without growls. Hope to see more soon
Stacy, Girl you have clocked on one of best!!! Heads up for the air-kick!!! Stacy my favorite part of this killer video. Is when Tatiana gets up on her small perch to sing. Then she stands and sings "From the ashes I rise!!!" Her stage presence is un-surpassed!!!! This is the BEST thing to EVER come out of the former U.S.S.R.!!!!!
😊 Great reaction of yours. Always good to do some Jinjer next. Depending on your preferences I can recommend Wallflower OV w/ a lot or Jazz singing, Vortex OV landmark prog metal, Teacher Teacher OV as well landmark prog metal, Judgement and Punishment Tati one take performance in a style you would never expect, Who's gonna be the one Official live showing their metal core style with Tati's unbelievable performance, or their darkest metal core stuff Pit of Consciousness Official live Kijv, or their longest, most studio produced piece I Speak Astronomy.
The way that Tatiana can transition from a demonic growl to her angelic voice blows my mind 🤯 I'm not a big fan of progressive metal, but this band is incredible. 🙏✌️
The BEST stage presence for sure...the whole band is so very talented. The drummer plays classical piano also. ..started out as a piano player then decided to learn drums.
The band often sounds *better* live than on their studio work. Tati will sometimes vary a vocal slightly during a live performance....and that variation is often better than the recorded take on the album. And she is a badass frontman...the way she moves and interacts with the crowd is magnetic. Some artists just have "it" and she definitely does. Her cleans....as Q Tip once said..."It's like butter baby." Lots of velvety texture and playfulness in her cleans, as well as being an excellent mixed voice belter. Tati drew many of us in initially via Pisces, but once I heard a few songs, the band as a whole hooked me deep and sure. They all complement each other so well. Some good next steps would be delving into Jinjer's darker side with Pit, the great ride that is Teacher, Teacher or the proggy journey of I Speak Astronomy. Links below. Keep rocking! JINJER - Pit of Consciousness (Live In Kiev) | Napam Records JINJER - Teacher, Teacher! (Live In Melbourne) | Napalm Records JINJER - 'I Speak Astronomy' LIVE @ Hellfest From Home
Tatiana is one of the kind. Floor is another one of the kind. Floor is the lead singer of Nightwish (and she has a solo career to) - I love Jinjer and have seen them live. I also love Nightwish and have seen them live multiple times. If you don't know Floor and want to see/hear the most versatile vocalist, then may I suggest you react to: Nightwish - Ghost Love Score at Wacken 2013 (same festival Jinjer were playing in this marvelous video)
I love that you are appreciating the amazing that is Jinjer. The entire band is skilled to the max and so unique. Please stay on this journey. Pit of Consciousness live in Kiev is a banger. I would suggest you check out Nightwish if you appreciate amazing vocals. Ghost Love Score live at Wacken is the usual go to for new listeners. Also you can’t go wrong with Sleep Token. Amazingly brilliant band. Check out Chokehold, The Summoning, The Offering or Alkaline! I predict that you will love them. Keep ‘em coming! 🤘🏼
Your reactions are quite refreshing. I agree that Tatianas soft voice is really pleasing. I've several Jinjer albums, but cannot always listen to them, because the harsh vocals are too much sometimes when I am not in the mood for it. I'd love to see some music from Jinjer with a bigger share of clean vocals. I hope Nightwish is still on your list. You have seem them with Tarja, their first singer. Now their vocalist is Floor Jansen who is even more versatile than Tatjana. Most reactors get to know her with the song "Ghost Love Score", but "Devil and the Deep Dark Ocean" shows her range even better.
Tatiana don't play, she brings it live! Saw them last Nov. 2022 in Cleveland, the most incredible vocal performance I've ever seen and I've seen hundreds of bands live. "Pit of Consciousness" live in Kiev will blow your mind. Her growls in that performance are nuts!
I finally got to see them live a week ago and man one of my absolute favorite concerts ever and they definitely sounds just as good live. I hope to see you react to I Speak Astronomy and Teacher Teacher official videos both are 🔥
Did anyone already said that jinjer is basically official ambassador of Ukraine to look for peace I think Ukraines ministry ratified that they were only artist who has full access outside of the country to send message of peace.. what enabled them to continue touring around the world.. saw them this summer in Finland and we got really warm words for our support to Ukraines cause.
Love your reactions! New sub here! Found you bc of your jinjer reactions! Jinjer is one of the best and one of my favorite bands! Discovered them through reactions here on youtube (Pisces is is kind of a right of passage for youtubers first starting to listen to metal haha). Keep up the awesome reactions! The metal community is largely very welcoming and once the different fans of different bands see you positively responding to their fav bands we will loyally follow and watch your channel and spam or recommendations haha.
Nice to see you diving into the Jinjer Universe. Next steps are Judgement and Punishment One Take vocals together with the music videos of Vortex, Teacher Teacher and I Speak Astronomy. For other ways of growling and shouting, you should listen to Arch Enemy. Angela Gossow and Alissa White-Gluz have a very different way of singing, but both are a pure pleasure to hear. Try Nemesis for Angela (usually the Live in Tokyo is a reference for pure brutality) and the music video of Handshake with Hell for Alissa. Also listen to Alissa ft. for Nita Strauss. The Wolf You Feed is becoming a new classic. Another way of screaming is Courtney LaPlante, from Spiritbox. I think her One Take video of Circle with Me is a great way to get mesmerized.
My wife did not like jinjer but went to a live show with me and during this song actually tap me on the arm and showed me the goosebumps on her arm from Tatiana singing
Had she not spoken at the end, you'd never know how out of breath she was. She has outstanding breath control. Note how deep her growls can get. To add context, I'm more into death and blackened death metal where the vocals are 100% growls... but Jinjer was a nice change in pace when I first heard/saw them on TH-cam. In Teacher, Teacher she switches back and forth even more often... and in Who's Gonna Be the One Live at Kiev her growls are also quite deep.
-For more of her soft vocals, check out the official live video of “Bad Water. “Pisces” was the song that got me interested in them but “Bad Water” was the one that made me a fan. All clean vocals. -If you get the chance to see them, definitely go. I’ve seen them three times(Twice as the headliner and once as an opening act.). The first show was last December in Charlotte, which somebody recorded and put up on TH-cam, was special not in that it was my 1st time seeing them. It was the year I scored my 1st win over my Seasonal Depression. From the anticipation starting in August when I got my ticket to weeks after the show, I was genuinely happy. No feelings of despair. No overthinking myself into depression. To borrow a line from a friend of mine, I got lost in the ether. I’m already looking forward to them being back on tour next year.
You say you're not musically savvy. Yes you are. You say you're lacking in vocabulary. No you're not! You may not be a musician, but you understand this music instinctively better than some musicians I know. You connect with it emotionally, and you express that eloquently. As a professional musician and the son of an English professor, you're doing just fine on both scores. Kudos to you on an excellent reaction. In fact as a connoisseur of Jinjer reactions, you're one of my favorites. And it is Jinjer that turned me into a reaction video hobbyist lol. I fell in love with them instantly, like you and probably most of the commenters here. (BTW Jinjer commenters are some of the best, most knowledgeable and helpful folks on TH-cam!) I've been listening to heavy music for a long time. But I was never into harsh vocals before. I mean, I liked David from Disturbed and Chester from Linkin Park, but they use screaming judiciously, and usually not as full false cord atonal extended screaming. Most of the harsh vocalists I'd heard didn't float my boat whatsoever, and I couldn't understand what they were saying most of the time. Then came Jinjer. Like you, I was instantly captivated by the incredible musicianship of the whole band--and Tatiana is just above and beyond. As a singer, she's my favorite singer. I suggest you check out videos by Julia Nilon, The Charismatic Voice, and the Fairy Voice Mother if you want a detailed description of how Tatiana does her harsh vocalizing. It's amazing and highly skilled. But what's clear from all the interviews of Tati is that she has no real idea herself of exactly how she does it. She taught herself, and when she hears people describe vocal fry and vestibular folds in the throat she says no, that's not what she's doing. (I believe she uses both fry and false cord activation.) By her own admission she doesn't take care of her voice (which makes me cringe, because I'm in love with her voice and I want her to keep singing like that forever). She did quit smoking recently, and she says she's drinking less. But just imagine the strain of doing what she does for 80 minutes onstage, five or six nights a week, for several months! Living on a bus with five dudes, never in the same city for more than a day or two. Irregular sleep, imperfect diet, endless repetition: bus, interview, stage, bus, interview, stage. It's a grind, and they are road warriors. I'll tell you a secret: the screaming part is actually easiest on the throat. The hard singing or belting is more tiring. Even worse is talking loudly before or after singing. When they're out on tour, singers like Tatiana often have to give multiple interviews per day. And she'll usually do meet n greets. And often there's loud music that you have to speak over in order to be heard. That's the hardest thing on a singer's voice right there. For me Jinjer is the best band in the world. Tatiana is the best singer, full stop. As a bassist myself, Eugene is my favorite bassist. Vlad is a revolutionary drummer, one of the best in the world. Roman is incredibly precise, fast, and dynamic. He tends to get overlooked a bit, I think, because he doesn't generally play guitar solos or leads. In my view Jinjer music is perfect as it is, and doesn't really need "solos" from any of the members, since they're so perfectly in sync as an ensemble. I've heard rumors that Roman is stepping out more on the new upcoming album. I can't wait to hear what he has in store for us! Yep, you missed the recent double tour, which ended several weeks ago. And yep seeing them live is impactful. They did double duty, opening for Disturbed on their arena tour, and also headlining their own parallel tour of smaller venues in between arena dates. They were literally playing five and six nights a week, flying to Europe on "off" days to play festivals like Wacken Open Air. The guys have written most or all the music for a new album. Tatiana is probably procrastinating at this moment (you'll see her descriptions in her interviews). I view her procrastination as a gestation period for the vocal and lyrical genius I know Captain Metal is going to unleash on an unsuspecting world! Please bring us more of your wonderful Jinjer reactions! I suggest live versions of Who Is Gonna Be The One, Just Another, Pit of Consciousness in Kiev; and OMVs for Vortex, I Speak Astronomy, Wallflower. Keep your eyes peeled for Jinjer live dates. And in the meantime, I suggest you watch all of the Jinjer "playthrough" videos to start getting an idea of the true genius of each musician. And please check out the lyrics! They're poetic and brilliant!
But first Judgement (& Punishment) vocal one take! So many reasons! 😉
ปีที่แล้ว +1
Tati can sing anything... from pop, to reagge, to bossanova, jazz, even some rap bars in Teacher, Teacher ... one of the best if not the best singer in the metal scene...
Jinjer is 100% just a phenomenal live. regardless of the venue they bring the same energy. Also I feel like Spiritbox would be a good band to look into next. Either Jaded or Circle With Me would be a good start with them
Jinjer doesn't have a lot of songs without any harsh vocals but if you want to hear that I would suggest Beggar's Dance, all clean vocals and very different from anything they've done very jazzy
great choices of music groups to react to. i saw jinjer last december in san antonio, black sabbath in 2016 in san antonio, and will be seeing the rolling stones in april in houston. another newer group i suggest would be 3 quite young sisters from monterrey mexico, the warning, who i also saw in may in san antonio.
I could listen to Tatiana read the phonebook. It's pretty common to hear someone who listens to the studio version of one of their songs and then the live version and say the live version is better. That isn't a dig on their producer Max Morton either. There is just something about the energy live that as long as the audio quality is good the live versions are so good. Four years later from this video and Tatiana is still bouncing around stages with more square footage than the top floor of my house and their tour schedule most of the time is insane. Not six months to do an album and two months to support it. Instead the album supports an 8 month (or longer) tour. Having played drums professionally for years I can't imagine that kind of schedule. The harsh vocal technique she's using is called "false chord" growling/screaming. It's a technique similar to yogic growling. Rather than using the vocal chords it uses the false chords which extend over the real vocal chords to help keep food from going down the wrong way when you swallow. Singers who use the technique learn to control those otherwise involuntary muscles to make sounds. It's an extremely difficult technique to learn and if done wrong it can damage your voice because it's easy to think you are using your false chords when you are actually using your vocal chords. Because it's biology everyone who does the technique sounds different. Tatiana does it better than most IMO. She learned because she heard the singer for Otep do it and wanted to try it. I think you would like the Judgement and Punishment One Take Vocal video for several reasons one reason that you might not expect.
Jinjer is very much a touring band, performing live shows most days of the year. They write their music knowing this, and keep studio overproduction to a minimum. They are absolutely amazing live! Very humble and hard working people as well.
For me Perrenial is by far my favorite Jinjer song! It's about Seasons passing, life and death, or even about how from fallen fruits new trees can start existing in a world. I recommend now Teacher, teacher by Jinjer- it is an absolute must! Great reaction! 😃
I also think that Tatiana's singing capabilities needed for sure a couple of years to be as perfect as they are now. It's true that each human has right and false vocal strings in their throats and those false vocal strings would create a sound similar to what Tatiana is doing when she growls, but I don't think the quality of it would be as good as this performance. I was watching many videos about screams and growls- so I already know that most of Metal Singers are dealing with is a Vocal Fry! 😉 I feel like whenever a Rock, Metal singer wants to add let's say an edge to a certain note they are adding a Fry to it! The growl or scream for me is actually now a lowest note with lowest Fry or a highest Fry (yes! Even Vocal Fry hight can also be moderated!)! Lowest Fry is growling very lowly, while highest Fry I could call a shriek. That's all the knowledge I have gathered about it and wanted to share with You, because You wanted to learn about it, but now I have to go to sleep! 😃
I'm so glad you love her range in her vocals. Another reaction you need to do is King Diamond - Sleepless Nights - live at the Filmore! His vocal range is incredible!!
I've seen Jinjer live twice and every time blows me away I even got a set list from the stage. You should also check out Spiritbox - jaded or circle with me
A lot of people recommending a lot of good songs, but one of my favorites is "Tatiana Shmayluk best moments vol. 1" its a bunch of older clips of her singing in Russian, Spanish, concert shots, growls, Adele karaoke, Freddie Mercury impersonation and more
^^^This! There are 5 installments of those videos. If you're not already in love, trust me you will be. You get to see scenes from her wedding and reception in the videos. And a million metalheads eat their hearts out lol
Elizabeth from The Charismatic Voice has a great interview on her channel with Tati wher they talk about her career, vocal techniques and many more things ;) It's worth checking out ;)
Also, if someone hasn’t already mentioned, for all your questions ( fantastic) check out the interview Tatiana did with Elisabeth on the channel “ The Charismatic Voice”! You’ll LOVE IT🤗😄- And thanks again for all your wonderful enthusiasm! Can’t wait to hear what you thought once you see them live!
From a listeners POV, you should turn up your music video box volume just a little bit. it is a little quiet on our ends. but love seeing new people react to Tatiana and her amazing voice
I saw them twice and they are amazing! Tatiana incredible live, I just wish my phone could have caught the band better sound wise. I need to get a good external mic. There is two thing I don't think she could do but she could learn and that's Mongolian throat singing and classical voice. Who knows, that may come next. She has an amazing range. If you want to know more about how she does this, watch The Charismatic Voices channel when she listens to Jinjer and she also did an amazing interview with Tatiana.
Love how much you’ve immediately been able to appreciate the massive talent of all 4 of these musicians. Try these: Who Is Gonna Be The One (official live video) Teacher, Teacher (official mv - it’s studio track overlaid on clips from some live shows) Cloud Factory (the live video, better than the original mv, imo) If you’re ready for younger, angrier Tati, try Sit, Stay, Roll Over. Brutal song. Different drummer. I love it. Judgment & Punishment “one take” Etc. Enjoy!!! 😊
I was at this show - Wacken Festival 2019. WHAT a damn show. And Jinjer opened the day with this show at 11 am...and THAT many people alive at 11 am is not THAT common there! xD They are amazing live!
im a jinjer fan for 10 years, and in my head is olny 1 singer who has also a mega range...LANDMVRKS- Lost in a wave... and if you like tati (melting your brain)- sit, stay, roll over..a old one of jinjer and my no 1 "song" 😅
Jinjer basically tour nonstop but apparently they are working on new album atm. I'm confident they will announce a tour after the album is finished. They are a must see live. I've seen them twice and the sound mix, vocal performance and stage performance was amazing.
They were the first band of the day at this festival, about 11 a.m. Their set was only about a half hour because the souind guys hard a hard time. They started late and the sound didn't get dialed in until this last song.
Pisis's version is a studio but live, in the same way she sings spectacularly in any way, I like to enjoy it live, since she transmits more emotions with her gestures and vocal tones, as an example 4:16 these vocal changes are not at all easy to change from clean to guttural voice in that way it is spectacular and even more so in their last song
The official video for Teacher, Teacher needs to be on the list. It's my favorite song of theirs. Fun fact: The band was formed in 2008, but none of the founding members are still in the band.
Tati is my favorite vocalist for the last couple of years and I am a MUSIC freak. I spend many thousands of dollars on audio equipment, vinyl records, CDs and streaming services. My son took me to see them in Silver Spings, MD and even in a small venue with bad sound, they stood out as the headliners. I'm in LOVE with Tati also. Very good reaction BTW!
Great reaction, many Jinjer songs to react to and Tatiana is amazing. If you'd like to be blown away by another female vocalist try the band Nightwish with Floor Jansen. I know you just reacted to Nightwish with Tarja but Floor is incredible and so is the band. For first song I would recommend Ghost Love Score (Wacken 2013) live
The great thing about this band is that, yes she is really really impressive, but its not like in a lot of other bands, where its a really good singer, and then a fine band that compliments the singer. Every single one of them are really great musicians. They do really difficult things, and they are able to incoperate many different genres and make it work in their own unique style. I have seen them live, and even when you ignore the hype and the agressive feeling that you want from a metal band, they do some really creative things with their music.
It sounds like you're really appreciating them. You might want to check out some interviews with Tatiana, the charismatic voice has a great interview with her here on you tube. She is self taught, in some of her interviews she explains all of what you are wondering about her singing and the bands history, etc. Also, check out their official video of Teacher Teacher next, enjoy...
Nice Reaction! Yes, the whole band is super talented. If you want to see Tatiana's more personal side you should check out some video's they put out showing Tatiana when she's not on stage (not for a reaction unless you want to). "Tatiana Shmayluk (Jinjer) Best Moments #1" I think there is 5 of them total."
I've been in metal bands all my life as a drummer, keyboards and vocalist. It definitely takes some endurance and precision. I remember being a little metal padawan, practicing headbanging and playing at the same time. I used to do a lot of stretches and warmups before a show or I would feel it the next day. Never got to point of playing 200+ shows a year though, so that's a lot of endurance build up.
Stacey:"Is there anything she can't do"? Me: Nope! To prove that statement 247 songs to listen to: the whole Jinjer catalogue! But if you want to to make it shorter I recommand 3 songs: Judgement & Punishment one take vocal (for the vibes), Pit of consciousness Live in Kiev (for the freaking deep growls) and Wallflower (because it's a beautifull song). But you can pick any songs from them you won't be disappointed! To answer your question: Tatiana knew for a long long time that she will be a singer so she sung and one day she heard OTEP and the female lead singer what growling "like a man". She was so amazed that she decided to do the same....and it took 4 years of practicing on her own (she is self taught) to achieve her goal. Talent without hard work and full commitement is nothing.
Other bands like Jinjer? Yes. Ignea. Ignea is also from Ukraine and they also share the same producer, Max Morton. I recommend their newest video, "Incurable Disease".
The Charismatic Voice did an interview with Tatiana which would probably help you understand Tatiana's voice. Actually , Elizabeth (THE Charismatic Voice) has made quite a study of harsh vocals and has some good educational material about it. Check out the video where she puts a camera down Will Ramos' throat.
She's not the only growly girl, but she is the best I've heard. Speaking of which check out "On the Top (Live Kiev)" or pit of Consciousness from the same show.
Another singer with an incredible range is Mike Patton of Faith No More - 6 octaves! Off the top of my head I'd strongly recommend either 'Last Cup of Sorrow' or 'We Care A Lot'. edit: As for Jinjer, I'd suggest 'Bad Water'. As far as I know it's the one track where she only does clean vocals.
Fun story. That hold suit was miserable in the heat and started falling apart. So what does she do? She takes it off and takes it out to the merch table so a fan could buy it! She’s one of a kind. I am so glad they’ve made it. They starved starting out and it took a lot for them to get approval from their government to leave Ukraine and tour. Check out wallflower. Judgement & Punishment (one take vocal) and Who’s Gonna Be The One. And an old one from 2014: Outlander. There’s just soooo much!
I've often wondered about that fan who bought the stage-seasoned gold jumpsuit. It's kinda like Elvis' sweat cloth from the Vegas concerts. Was that fan swooning or what! I wonder how much he (she?) paid for that...
I like this as the second reaction to Jinjer because you get to see they sound as good live, you see Tatiana's stage presence, and you hear how well she controlled her breath until the song was over. There's so many good Jinjer songs but if you want to mix it up, I'd suggest checking out Spiritbox now. I assure you, Courtney is just as amazing as Tatiana.
effing vibed with that a super lot. alpha tier musical content. super glad I came across your channel! A suggestion as well! October Ends' new song is on a whole other level. You should react to their new song! 🔥
Nice Reaction! EXTRAORDINARY BAND. I wish they had came out in the 90' as it sure needed the help with all the Glam Jam Pop Metal fecal matter that flooded the air waves to finally be wiped out by NIRVANA. Any way Great Stuff! WHO IS GOING TO BE THE ONE is another great live performance. Peace 🕊️☮️♾️😎
Very good reaction! Anoher metal song I can recommend to reac to is a pure Heavy Metal classic: Iron Maiden: Hallowed by thy Name (The early Live version from 1982 for example). Another Prog Metal Thing with another “rabbit hole-potential” is: Opeth -› Ghost of Perdition. Have fun and keep it up!
Agreed...she can capture your mind and your soul. Enjoy the journey with them. May I suggest another band with an incredible vocalist, Ad Infinitum. Their vocalist is Melissa Bonny. She has a stunning clean voice with a wonderful growl. Listen to their songs Upside Down and From The Ashes. You will be impressed!
She sounds even better live really. My other best friend here in the states is a musician & music engineer. He said hands down it sounds better than studio recording.
Hi, Stacy. Please treat yourself to one of the most talented bands I've seen in my 50+ years of being a life long headbanger. The band I'm talking about is the Japanese all-female metal group, LOVEBITES / Holy War [Live at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020]
Love seeing Tatiana has taken another soul. Great reaction.
She really knows how to snatch you up! I love her

You are absolutely right. Tati sounds just as good live as she does on their recordings. I got to see them live back in July. the entire band is unbelievable. Tatiana is one big ball of energy that owns the stage. I can't wait to see the again.
Jinjer - Pit of Consciousness (Live in Kiev)
Jinjer - On The Top (Live in Kiev)
Jinjer - Who Is Gonna Be The One (Official Live)
Jinjer - Judgement & Punishment (Tatiana One Take Vocal)
Jinjer - Teacher Teacher (Official Video)
Jinjer - Captain Clock (Live at Resurrection Fest 2018)
I love ‘On The Top’
I’ve seen them live 4 times. They are just as phenomenal every time! Tatiana has a huge stage presence for such a small woman.
Other Jinjer tracks I recommend:
"Teacher Teacher" the official music video,
"Judgement (and Punishment)" Tatiana's One-Take Vocal version,
"Just Another" the official music video,
"On The Top" and "Pit of Consciousness" both live in Kiev,
"Vortex" the official music video,
"Who is Going to Be The One" live,
"Home Back" the official music video, this is a personal one for the band as it relates to the invasion of their part of the Ukraine by Russian troops;
a couple of earlier tracks with a previous Drummer, "I Speak Astronomy" the official music video and "Sit, Stay, Roll Over". There are other tracks but these are good ones to continue with.
Please follow this list!!
this!!!!
@@tgkn8376 Thank you very much, I hope that Stacey does so too.
@@underdawgboost Thank you very much for your support.
EXCELENT. More Jinjer. Tattiana is such a god damn goddes
Stacy,
Girl you have clocked on one of best!!!
You’re going to love Wallflower. Beautiful song and video.
Lol. I literally discovered you with your pisces reaction about an hour ago. Absolutely keep checking Jinjer out. Teacher Teacher next.
Subbing
I like your reaction style and the fact that you have a open mind means your channel will succeed. looking forward to your journey!
JINJER - Pit of Consciousness (Live In Kiev) | Napam Records
JINJER - Teacher, Teacher! (Live In Melbourne) | Napalm Records
JINJER - 'I Speak Astronomy' LIVE @ Hellfest From Home
I like your comments a lot. Slava Jinjer Army!
Yay Stacey Great Review! Glad to see you are now a fan of Eugene (bassist), Vlad (drummer), Roman (guitarist), and of course Tati!!!!
I hope to see you react to I Speak Astronomy and Teacher Teacher official videos both are 🔥
Jinjer is absolutely amazing live! You will have the time of your life at a jinjer show! Amazing reaction! 🤘🏽
❤
Respect brother! My daughter also has S.A.D. Perennial rules!
Great reaction! I agree with you, Tatiana's clear vocals are amazing!
great choices of music groups to react to. i saw jinjer last december in san antonio, black sabbath in 2016 in san antonio, and will be seeing the rolling stones in april in houston. another newer group i suggest would be 3 quite young sisters from monterrey mexico, the warning, who i also saw in may in san antonio.
I feel like whenever a Rock, Metal singer wants to add let's say an edge to a certain note they are adding a Fry to it! 😃
seen them live last night, can confirm theyre so good live
Superb!!! She's owner of an extremely rare gift. The whole band complete each other. Superb!!
I'm so glad you love her range in her vocals. Another reaction you need to do is King Diamond - Sleepless Nights - live at the Filmore! His vocal range is incredible!!
I saw them in Houston, Tx right before Covid. Life altering show. They are awesome live!
Happy to find you on here. I will support your channel
I've seen Jinjer live twice and every time blows me away I even got a set list from the stage. You should also check out Spiritbox - jaded or circle with me
Another Great reaction. Still lots of good ones to cover. Here for it!
Great Tati, powerful song, Gorgeous Stacey. Ciao from Sicily
Every single band member is a genius.
Elizabeth from The Charismatic Voice has a great interview on her channel with Tati wher they talk about her career, vocal techniques and many more things ;) It's worth checking out ;)
Her soft voice is mesmerizing, love it
Also, if someone hasn’t already mentioned, for all your questions ( fantastic) check out the interview Tatiana did with Elisabeth on the channel “ The Charismatic Voice”! You’ll LOVE IT🤗😄- And thanks again for all your wonderful enthusiasm! Can’t wait to hear what you thought once you see them live!
Saw them in the summer of 2023. Great show they sound like they do on their albums live.
Judgement and Punishment!
Jinjer, who is gonna be the one! 😁 💛💙
Try these:
Who Is Gonna Be The One (official live video)
Teacher, Teacher (official mv - it’s studio track overlaid on clips from some live shows)
Cloud Factory (the live video, better than the original mv, imo)
If you’re ready for younger, angrier Tati, try Sit, Stay, Roll Over. Brutal song. Different drummer. I love it.
Judgment & Punishment “one take”
Etc.
Enjoy!!! 😊
Her slow quiet voice is very tranquil, she has the best range from low to high she is so talented
I was at this show - Wacken Festival 2019. WHAT a damn show. And Jinjer opened the day with this show at 11 am...and THAT many people alive at 11 am is not THAT common there! xD
They are amazing live!
im a jinjer fan for 10 years, and in my head is olny 1 singer who has also a mega range...LANDMVRKS- Lost in a wave... and if you like tati (melting your brain)- sit, stay, roll over..a old one of jinjer and my no 1 "song" 😅
Jinjer basically tour nonstop but apparently they are working on new album atm. I'm confident they will announce a tour after the album is finished. They are a must see live. I've seen them twice and the sound mix, vocal performance and stage performance was amazing.
i finally got to see them live a few months ago, they did not disappoint at all.
They were the first band of the day at this festival, about 11 a.m. Their set was only about a half hour because the souind guys hard a hard time. They started late and the sound didn't get dialed in until this last song.
Pisis's version is a studio but live, in the same way she sings spectacularly in any way, I like to enjoy it live, since she transmits more emotions with her gestures and vocal tones,
as an example 4:16 these vocal changes are not at all easy to change from clean to guttural voice in that way it is spectacular and even more so in their last song
They opened their Download 2023 set with this and it was first introduction to this band… was unexpected and shook the ground 🤣
Another great reaction! Others have mentioned next steps, so you're in great hands!
No, you're right she can do it all. I've yet to see anyone not fall in love with her. She is captivating.🤟❤️
whats wild is this was the last song of the set, AND SHE STILL HAD THAT ENERGY.
For Tatiana's clean vocals, check out "Black Water" and her guest vocals on Twelve Foot Ninja's "Over and Out."
I imagine Tatiana is what a mermaid sounds like. Absolute siren, really just makes you fall in love with her.
Tatiana is a example of someone that has mastered their voice.
You should definitely check out Tatiana's one take vocal performance of Judgement and Punishment!
Hmmm that's the third time I've heard the name October Ends today. I've never heard em. Time to fix that! Try ANKOR from Spain if you haven't.
Yep, that's Jinjer for you. Lots of good songs, but I'd say you go with 'Teacher teacher' next.
Good reaction. Thank you! You would probably also enjoy Spiritbox.

Hi, Stacy. Please treat yourself to one of the most talented bands I've seen in my 50+ years of being a life long headbanger. The band I'm talking about is the Japanese all-female metal group, LOVEBITES / Holy War [Live at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo 2020]
