Given that they're also releasing Law, Gear 5th Luffy and Kidd as well, I think there is a very high chance they will make a Big Mom and Killer too to complete the Supernova and Yonko cast from the Rooftop.

It looks good but my two big complaints are the shoulder design and the lack of paint detail across all the scales. I don’t understand why the engineering team for the one piece line is so BAD at designing shoulders. It’s not just because he’s big, it’s the same problem that the smaller figures have. Those shoulder caps are HIDEOUS and unnecessary. DBZ and Naruto SHF lines do not have this problem. Idk why the one piece design team can’t get this right and seems so different from the other SHF lines.
The lack of paint across all the scales is unacceptable. It’s such an expensive figure and it looks unfinished because they couldn’t finish the scale paint.

The figure looks good, i apriciate when you breakdown the leg so we know there's a metal ball joint on it XD hope it will not affect the articulation, but his shoulder joint and design is ugly for me i know they do that for the sake of articulation and im worried its not durable enough, but overal good release hope they will release the human form of kaidou too and probably they making the Dragon form as well.

That kind of shoulder joint is so fugly. Why can't they just make it like Broly those are good design for bulky shoulder
As we One Piece fans know. Kaido's Devil Fruit is the Ancient Zoan Fish-Fish Fruit, Model: Azure Dragon. And the fact that he is a member of the Ogre Tribe. But while he is in his Man Beast Form. He looks like a Japanese Blue Oni from their folklore. Warrior and Bandit Ogres with clubs. Like the ones from 'That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime'.

I really hope if they make a later model that they put the scales on the whole body, or a 3rd party company makes replacements for the arms and legs with the scales, or they provide stickers to put on instead, it’s such a shame that he doesn’t have the scale colors, it’s what gives that amazing color of Kaidos dragon forms. Still going to buy one anyways.

I wanted a normal form, but this will pair with G5 better, even if he should be twice the size since he is supposed to be 4 times taller than Luffy. If i can get it on a discount, then I will pick him up. That cloak and his scales are beging for some shading or a wash.
I wonder if the USA will see big discounts on him like they did for Great Ape and Porunga. Would be an awesome pick up if on sale!
I think after gear 5 luffy comes out, SHFiguarts should definitely make luffy, zoro, sanji, and Nami in their egghead styles, and maybe make the other ones later. Once they’ve made those they can focus on pre time skip figures, both main characters and villains.

I got him pre-ordered on Amazon just to make sure it gives me enough time to debate. Lol. He is pretty damn good looking, but if I were to get him, I'd have absolutely nowhere to display him. Ugh. I'd rather have Big Mom, eventhough she might not make as striking a figure. Such dilemmas I have. 😂
If you get Big Mum you will need Kaidou too XD You can get then make space for him ^_~

Yeah if they ever come out with Big Mom, I'd be kicking myself in the ass for not getting Kaido. Kaido at the time will have ballooned up to like $600. Lol
@@restock_1731I like if they put big mom on the line, but im not sure they will put the original Big mom suit since they only release the Onigashima arc for now.
@@fransiskusoktafian60 maybe they'll keep her in the back pocket for down the line. We're getting East Blue, atleast Luffy and Nami for now. There are so many figures I'd love to get also, but who knows if the line will continue. Hopefully.

Would you want to pay over $300 for him though? Same as other figs not being painted... people in general are cheap and do not want to pay the premium which is a shame as a lot of releases would look amazing if they did paint/weather.
the hollow shoulders are a big turn off
