My wife and I held back from having kids until time took the choice away from us. We were praised for not having children. We decided to start a family in our late 30s and early 40s. We left the religion after having our first child, realising that we didn't want to raise him as a jw. We had our second both in our 40s. We wish we started years ago but as the saying goes, better late than never. We now have the best life ever.
My niece did the same thing. She told me that she didn't want to have children this side of Armageddon. Now her and her husband are both retired and in their mid 60's. They are still jehovah witnesses.
Today the absurdity of this cult which lives its last years can be exposed in the face of the whole world. Your channel contributes in a way that I wouldn't even have imagined 2 years ago. Today EXJW dissent has become the largest religious dissent in the world. Thank you for your excellent channel.
I'm a 65 year old man who was raised a JW back in the late 50s and 60s. It took decades to break that enslavement camp. I've got a lot of factual stories I need to share. You may have encouraged me to do just that young man. Hmmm. You are appreciated. Maybe I'll start uploading.
Same here, Up until about a year ago I still thought it was the truth after not going to meeting starting in 1994. I feel like it has been a wasted life!
My stepfather sexually assaulted my sister and myself when we were children. When i told the elders, they lied and said they would report him. (we are in California so they are mandated reporters). When i confronted them about their lies they falsely accused me of sexual immorality and disfellowshiped me. Now my mother kicked him out of the house and reported him to the police. He ran away to Mexico. He keeps calling my mother and she doesn't want to talk to him. She asked the elders what to do and their ridiculous response was. "you are still married to him so you have to be in submission to him and do what he says." My rapist is still a Jehovah's witness but I his victim was accused of the sin that was committed against me and forced out. So much for "Gift in men"
It’s a false religion and a cult that coddles rapists. You should be glad that you’re no longer a part of something that the true God has nothing to do with.
Just cannot comprehend how angry I would be … you are brave & they are disgusting criminals! How can they honestly believe this is what a god of love would do 😢
@@coolcucumber2780 They are just covering for themselves and their cult leaders in Bethel. How they dealt with this is what caused me to open my eyes and see they were a bunch of despicable old men. I didn't go into detail about all the lies they said when they made up their nonsense. When i asked them why they had done nothing they outright said. "We spoke to bethel and they said, their lawyers said we should not do anything because it would tarnish the image of the organization. You wouldn't want to tarnish God's image because of something that happened so long ago would you?" I responded "So the shepherds won't save the sheep from the wolves because they might get dirty? God doesn't need our protection. They are all powerful. They can do anything. But you, who are placed in position to protect the flock of God let wolves roam freely though your congregation and let them pick off the most vulnerable because you might get dirty? They got nasty. They kept telling me to confess to how many men I'd had sex with and in what positions. I could believe what was happening. But i guess ultimately they showed who they really are and i was able leave the cult. I don't know if I can file charges for their failure to report and if I could i have no idea how.
I was 19 in 1969 when that article was published. I just turned 73 this month. So glad I woke up and left, unfortunately it was just last year. No longer feel guilty about not getting my hours in, or missing meetings. Glad I went ahead and married (to a worldly man).
I was 21, baptized in 1969, disfellowshipped in 1989 (I feel unjustly), lived almost 3 more decades believing it was the Truth, but that I just wasn't "good enough". Except for the passing of our mother, my only sister hasn't spoken to me in over 40 years. I wouldn't recognize her or my nephews and nieces(now adults) if I saw them on the street. FREE at 74!! The best years are yet to come!
The old book " Children" given to and written for all young people, I think in early 30s , said not to marry, not to have children, don't go to school etc because armageddon is sooooo near ...go out and pioneer ...those young people are now old/dead, alone and penniless 😭💔
@@compositioncompilation None of the teachings of Watchtower can be found in scripture. Watchtower teaches not to have children "in this system of things." Bible says... Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it;.." Gen.1:28 So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth." Gen. 9:1 All of the teachings of Watchtower can be debunked with scripture.
@@mattmurdock2868 I agree..but there are some truths they teach. The MAN OF LAWLESSNESS, they're stepping up to the plate..volunteering to play that role in this scene.
My dad turned his back on the religion after the 2002 panorama special, he threw away 20 years of belief as he would have no part of an organisation that harmed children , this earned my undying respect
I was raised in it and left at 12 I'm 34 being a child in that organization was the best years of my life. There are evil people everywhere i can never judge them as my path after them led me to prison and other problems. Wish I would have continued with them. All my friends that i grew up with became very successful and didn't catch bad habits .. i learned everything the hard way
Outstanding video. I find it disturbing that there are so many who claim to be in "The Truth" Yet will turn a blind eye to any Truth about their own so called Truth proving it's just a racket.
My mother studied in the late 1960's. The Sister told my mum that i would never leave (graduate) from school as Armageddon was so near. Some years later i am just leaving school and the elders tell me i need to pioneer as Armageddon was so near. 1975 came and went. I continued my studies but still towed the line. Didn't have kids till almost too late. 60 now, had a great career but wish i had more energy for my kids :)
Yes, I was 19 in 1969. I went into the organization in 1972 and told I'd never grow old so give the short time we have before the outbreak of Armageddon to Jehovah instead of contemplating marriage and family for the sake of the kingdom. I turned 72 last April and have no children and thus no grands to assist me or care for me due to listening to those pack of liars.
I just came across this video, and your writing. I am sorry you were coerced in this way. I have friends my age who went through the same but got out teens or young adults. They lost their families and struggle still with religious trauma. I feel for you! I hope you found good friends and love in other ways ♡♡♡
Sadly, even those who are not JW don't have grandchildren to care for them. Even those who have children may not be taken care of by their children. I am your age. My 2 kids. Who never had children. don't give a flying leap about me.

Yes Harrison!!! I'm with you giving WT the middle finger!! Even how they tell their members to be "happy slaves" is so inappropriate and as a person of color it makes me uncomfortable. Thank you for all that you do because your activism helps members in waking up, struggling because they have either been disfellowshipped or faded and also those of us that have left a long time ago and have been traumatized by this cult. So happy to see you back!! Thank you thank you thank you!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏👏👏
I'm sorry that you had to endure all the slavery references and whatnot. It makes me uncomfortable with you! In fact, one of those points that really made me wake up was that this book and this religion seem to really glorify it, like it was a good thing! For me it's the mass genocide, the incest, and the slavery that make me feel like it's not the inspired word of anything. I'm sorry but I can't worship a God who repeatedly allows or directly causes any of that. There's no world where any of that is okay. I'm so happy you made it out. ❤️
@@elizabethhavens5293 I feel the same way about a "god" that did all these horrific things if people did not worship him. What made me start doubting was how god is described as loving, not jealous, forgiving, never changes, all these beautiful qualities in the new testament. While in the old testament he talks about how he's vengeful, wrathful and jealous and raged war, genocide, required a tax from devastating cities and sacrifice. This never sat right with me as a child because it was like two different gods, especially when it's stated that god never changes because if god is love and not jealous then there's no way he can wrathful and jealous yet still be a god of love. Thank you for your kind words.🙏✌💗
That whole organization is built on covert intimidation. The last meeting I attended about 4 years ago, after the meeting two fellas asked me if I had a moment. And I said sure! So we go into this conference room and to make a long story short they're fake concern was just too obvious. It's hard to believe the faith I had in that lying deceptive organization. So after all the fake concern one guy implies I had some inappropriate pictures on my phone of minors. That shocked the living hell out of me. I couldn't believe my ears so I asked him was he suggesting what I thought he was. And that's when the real Watchtower Demon reared it's ugly head. I was acquainted with both of the fake bullies, but this guy stiffens up firms up deep into his voice and says yes! that's what I'm referring to. And I said well who said some s*** like that I want that person across the table from me I want to face that person! As usual this is just another demonic rumor that had been floating around for years in among in the JW gossip mill. Then I realize all these so-called Brothers are just a bunch of mucked up idiots especially these elders who who think they're tough. These guys don't know how close they are to a real ass whooping. So when I mention this to my daughters it was the first time I had heard about all the molestation and pedophile cases. I had been in that Organization for almost 40 years even serving as a so-called ministerial servant and they hide the truth from their members so well most of those people have no idea even today about how Satanic that organization is. They are the most hateful group of people I have ever seen. They are bent and totally dependent on their public image of perfection. Watchtower has gradually brainwashed and indoctrinated these people to the point where their free agency is gone. A major insult to the One that gave us free agency. It's the only thing that separates us from animals. Another reason the so-called Jehovah's Witnesses are bloodthirsty. The demonic lie that they are special leaves to daydream and fantasize of when blood will be running in the streets and they will be all huddled up singing "Kingdom" songs. So why never miss a meeting or a month in recruiting? Because they know they have to keep their sheeple engaged and these infinite meetings or simply a method to keep these people programmed and indoctrinated.
Phenomenal Phenomenal Video. EVERYONE THAT IS OR HAS WATCHED THIS VIDEO NEEDS TO SHARE IT WITH EVERYONE THAT THE KNOW. EVEN THE WATCHTOWER TROLLS....ITS THAT 👍. GREAT...
Hallway through this brother and I'm in complete shock with these quotes! I can't begin to imagine how many more quotes there actually are! I always thought that how brave the JW are in going out to individual homes one after another with such zeal to share their beliefs! To have so many holes in their doctrine and to speak such insulting and discriminatory quotes when speaking of other people! It's really such a shame to know what really goes on within this organization. I personally try not to point my fingers to quickly pass judgement on others because of my own imperfections, but it's good to be informed and educated on these things. And I thank you for being so brave and speak these truths. I wish you well in your endeavors! Keep up the good work!
As an ex-JW one of the things that help me when it comes to family and friends shunning me is to really take a hard look at who these people are. Good people don't worship a god that has both committed and ordered genocide and infanticide, as well as approving of people owning other people as property. Morally decent people don't look forward to the slaughter of billions, including hundreds of millions children because they stand to gain something from it. These people are arrogant, self-righteous, self-centered and severely lacking in morality and it matters not whether it's mom and dad, dear old granny, or brother. I won't lower my moral standards to have relationships with such people. There are some things we should not be tolerant about.
Well said! It always bothered me, being born into into it, that babies, children, innocent animals and even people in remote parts of the world who've never heard of JWs.....would all be killed at Armageddon. Seemed so cruel to me.
They are brainwashed poor children that grew up and it's not easy to find out the truth. Recently i found out Jesus Christ was crucified by Yahweh because his mission was to use his powers to dominate mankind by force. That's why later Yahweh created Islam which is about submission to Allah (many so called other Gods from other religion are the same Yahweh with other name)
I have a quote to add that means something to me. It comes from a 'Questions From Readers' from the January 1, 1979 Watchtower, pages 30 and 31. On page 31, the Watchtower states, "In joining the YMCA as a member a person accepts or endorses the general objectives and principles of the organization. He is not simply paying for something he receives, such as when buying things being sold to the public at a store. *** Nor is his membership merely an entry pass, as when a person buys a theater ticket. Membership means that one has become an integral part of this organization founded with definite religious objectives, including the promotion of interfaith. Hence, for one of Jehovah’s Witnesses to become a member of such a so-called “Christian” association would amount to apostasy." I find this stance, which hasn't changed to this day to the best of my knowledge, extremely hypocritical of the organization, due to the little known fact (by most active Jehovah's Witnesses) that the Watchtower, Bible and Tract Society was a NGO (non-governmental organization) associated with the United Nations from about 1992 - 2001 when The Guardian news made it public. A little research can uncover the dim view the organization takes of the United Nations, calling it the Wild Beast from the bible book of Revelation, and making the statement, "Both the League of Nations and the United Nations have consistently received the backing of the world’s religions." The previous quote can be found on their web site under "Bible Questions Answered", and the title, "What Is the Scarlet-Colored Beast of Revelation Chapter 17?". Watchtower tried saying they only did this to make use of the U.N.'s library. Tell me, how is that any different than a rank and file JW using the pool or exercise facilities at a YMCA and for such membership to be tantamount to "apostasy", but it wouldn't be a similar case for the organization being associated with the U.N. as an NGO so they could use their library? I see no difference because there is none. Great video guys!! :)
Some real zingers there; some of which are new to me. Really good video, Harrison. Nicely compiled and well analysed. As always, not only interesting and informative but also entertaining. If you compile the Top 10 list this time next year, I reckon at least half of them will be quotes made by Stephen Lett. The guy has completely lost the plot (along with his mind). He's an absolute nutter. I'm sure we can all agree. His quotes will keep getting crazier every month.
I just love your channel. You and your videos are very impressive. I was at the same point you mentioned in 1972. I was 19 and well aware of what they wanted members to do. I was already married and we were getting ready to buy a house. Older JWs were extremely against this because, of course, Armageddon was at hand. I dreamed of security. I wanted to feel safe somewhere, somehow, in a cult that loved terrifying people. Well, I took the healthy route, bought a house, quit this vile religion and went to college. Here we are 50 years later and I am so glad I got away from these horrid people and their destructive beliefs. I'm a retired teacher now and it is disgusting to me that they are still using these same arguments to persuade folks to give up what is essentially a normal, healthy, happy life. They are waiting for god to KILL everyone else on the entire planet!! What kind of people believe that? Hateful, self- absorbed, cruel and narcissist people.
@@Relex-p7r Wow see the superiority and the vengeance? It is really coming thru. This cult is full of hate for all of humanity. They are impatiently waiting for god to kill billions of people. AND THEY LOVE THE IDEA. These people aren't christians. They spread hate where ever they go. In 1953 an elder did tell me not to buy a house because armageddon was coming at any moment. That was 50 years ago. This cult is full of fools who donate money and time to keep this cult going and they just keep waiting- for over 100 years now. 🤨
I am happy to have excluded this society from my life. I will no longer have to pretend to believe in this absurd "double generation" which is becoming more and more a stumbling block for honest JWs. Over time all the different "divine lights" that enlightened this "generation" turned out to be more false than the other. The passage of time reveals the disproportionate pride of this cult which, instead of humbly recognizing its inability to understand this "generation", prefers to persist in its false interpretations, going so far today as to artificially twist the words of Jesus by making them less understandable. Stubbornness in error to the point of absurdity is a characteristic of proud humans. Proverbs 16:18 After pride comes a fall. That's it, it's over, the generation of 1914 no longer exists. There are no more Jehovah's Witnesses. Today only Watchtower witnesses teach this “Watchtorian” aberration. That's it, it's over, this "elastic" generation no longer deceives anyone, except those who want to prolong at all costs the generation of 1914 which no longer exists. The blindness of the followers to follow men pushed them to agree to twist the words of Jesus to artificially keep afloat the generation of 1914 which no longer exists. The passing years will only demonstrate the die-hard vanity of this cult. It reminds me of Mr. Rutherford who had the house of princes built to welcome the patriarchs of old and who said to all those who laughed, we will see who will laugh last. Finally, the last to laugh were the same ones from the first hour. The passage of time is a powerful revealer. That's it, it's over, despite everything some JWs will go so far as to lose all dignity by clinging to the slightest news that could still give them a semblance of hope, but that's it... it's over.

So glad to see you again 💓!!!!.. LOVE LOVE YOUR CONTENT...Harrison, although 🤔 I AM A SPIRITUAL PERSON. I respect your choice of being atheist. Riley, so glad to see you too and that you guys are doing well...EXCELLENT EXCELLENT JOB 👏. 😊
@@Jexit2020 So glad that you are doing well and happily 😊 married. I seriously appreciate everything that you guys are doing to help people out of the DOOMSDAY CULT of Jehovah's Witnesses and other CULTS like them.
To be honest. The Jehovah's Witnesses are not the only shady religious group. I was raised in a Baptist church. But I have been in many that if you didn't have money social status or anything important going for you. They didn't notice you were there until it was time to pass the offering plate
Difference therein Jason is that as you go from church to church, you don't lose your family members and friends when you leave. Oh don't have the freedom as a JW to go elsewhere. IF, you leave, This religion requires that your love ones have nothing else to do with you. Shunning is what takes place.
Excellent research and discussion. As a female exjw, I would add to the list the Samuel Herd quote about women having less cranial capacity than men proving she is not equipped for leadership and should be in subjection to men. November 25th is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. What I’ve come to discover since waking up is that VAW and GBV has their origins in organized religion. Thank you for your work and collaboration. ❤
I was never a JW, but in the dying days of my faith before I managed to claw my way out of The Christian Borg, I was Baptist, then started attending a Calvary Chapel. As far as I could ever tell, the Calvary Chapel movement was just a quasi-hipster off shoot of the Baptists. I have advice for anyone who attends churches like these: If you want to know who your Christian friends are, just stop attending church. You'll soon discover that that you no longer have any.
10:45 yep, I quit going to meetings and after 3 years the elders came to my house, they said they wanted to invite me to the memorial but then they said I'd been seen with a disfellowshipped person and there was a judicial committee being formed. I said how can I be disfellowshipped if I'm not fellowshiping? Well I went along with their bullshit to make fun of it all. I brought my df'd friend with me and told the elders he was there to testify that we never fellowshipped lol. They didn't think it was funny. I nearly got the chairman to cry. I read the scripture in Proverbs about a friend sticking closer than a brother and they had nothing to say except "but he's not with JEHOVAH." I said neither would Chuck Russell be according to you. I appealed just to see what would happen, and that chairman was a longtime family friend. They upheld of course. A month later my grandpa died. I went to the kingdom hall funeral which was a travesty and this guy comes up to me to introduce himself and shake my hand. I said I know who you are, don't you know me? It's insane how these idiots can basically run people's lives, and people put up with it, because they're so scared of dying and being forgotten. Christianity is terribly absurd and the JW version is about as bad as it gets.
One of the biggest issues for me is when they rail against "the independant spirit of the world". They basically think that everyone should be a slave. As a primally libertatian person almost nothing could revolt me more.
Always look forward to your seeing what you have next , Harrison . Yes I remember a lot of this nonsense... I share yours to 3 Pimo friends Greetings from Australia 💐
The alien lives in his eyes and controls his cheeks and that supremely messed up smile. I think what is more unnerving is how followers think he’s wonderful
I remember back when I was in independent fundamentalist Baptist attending a Revival in the south, one of the preachers made the comment that "we all deserved to be born with our backs broken in the depths of hell" and of course he was trying to talk about how good Jesus was to get us out of that situation, but this was no doubt a suggestion that babies deserve this eternal punishment. this is how distorted religion can get a person's mind, to imply then innocent baby is an enemy of God or deserves what this man said that day I went to that Revival. Christopher Hitchens wasn't joking when he said religion makes people say and do Despicable things.
My mom had 5 pregnancies. I'm the oldest. My baby sister was stillborn. My mom's sister-in-law told my mom that Debbie, my deceased sister, was in hell because she wasn't in the JW Church. Mom told her the God she believed in didn't punish innocent babies.
Fanaticism makes despicable things: about anything. I saw Hitchens on TH-cam do a despicable thing. He denied a guy's entitlement to have his point addressed, knowing that the guy had no public platform while he Hitchens had one: and in an ecaggeratedly laid-back mock-casual voice he went "Security !"
@@sharolynwells well I will admit that most are all of the independent fundamentalists Baptist preachers all believed and taught that God did accept babies and young children into heaven, and talked about age of accountability, but some of the preachers would get carried away and say disgusting and shocking things such as that babies deserve to burn the depths of hell with their backs broken. It was just rhetoric to debase us humans as unworthy pieces of garbage that Jesus offers to make well so we can go to heaven, again not that they believe babies go to hell.
@@conscienceaginBlackadder yeah, Hitchens did say a few things that I didn't like or agreed with in many of the videos I've binge watched several years ago after I lost faith in my religion and discovered atheist videos on TH-cam, but despite him being a hypocrite on certain points or having said some questionable things , that doesn't take away from the many strong and accurate points he made about things that religion for the most part causes people to do or say.
Thank you guys for exposing some unfortunate facts. I have a friend who after being away for about 20 or more years ago, has gone back, and he's become a different person. I have spoken to the study group leader, only to find that they have said only good things to me, but behind my back have been saying very different things, such as don't listen to her, even pushing him too far, and coerced him into situations, that to me sounds apalling, as it was for a personal agenda. I have looked into some things that are from the scripture, which tells me, certain things but at the end of the day, he is slowly cutting ties with friends and family, and is easily lead and prone to mental health issues. Thank you for your videos, as I often feel like because there is an age gap, I get all of the negative things he feels, are taken out on me, lying to me, and it leaves me feeling like i am going insane. Your information along with some other things I found, ( like the abu$3 of minors being disregarded, because there weren't 2 other witnesses present, is disgraceful), helps to keep me sane. I really appreciate it, so thank you for being brave young men and sharing your expereriences.
@@kathleenreardon8943 I too feel sorry for my friend. Although, he does see things differently now, which does have an effect. WARNING TO TRUE JEHOVAH'S WITTNESSES DO NOT LEAVE JEHOVAH'S ORGANIZATION :::::::::::::PLEASE READ THIS FIRST Be aware that apostates publish literature that resorts to distortions, half-truths, and outright falsehood. They even picket Witness conventions, trying to trap the unwary. Hence, it would be a dangerous thing to allow our curiosity to move us to feed on such writings or to listen to their abusive speech! While we might not think it a risk for us personally, the hazard remains. Why? For one thing, some of the apostate literature presents falsehoods by means of “smooth talk” and “counterfeit words.” (Romans 16:17, 18; 2 Peter 2:3) What would you expect from the table of demons? And while the apostates may also present certain facts, these are usually taken out of context with the goal of drawing others away from the table of Jehovah. All their writings simply criticize and tear down! Nothing is up building. “Avoid them,” says God’s Word. Other translations render that phrase “turn away from them,” “keep away from them,” and “stay away from them!” There is nothing ambiguous about that inspired counsel. Suppose that a doctor told you to avoid contact with someone who is infected with a contagious, deadly disease. You would know what the doctor means, and you would strictly heed his warning. Well, apostates are “mentally diseased,” and they seek to infect others with their disloyal teachings. (1 Tim. 6:3, 4) Jehovah, the Great Physician, tells us to avoid contact with them. We know what he means, but are we determined to heed his warning in all respects? Apostates “quietly bring in” corruptive ideas. Like smugglers, they operate in a clandestine manner, subtly introducing apostate views. And just as a clever forger tries to pass phony documents, so apostates use “counterfeit words,” or false arguments, trying to pass their fabricated views as if they were true. They spread “deceptive teachings,” “twisting . . . the Scriptures” to fit their own ideas. ADDED NOTE: It is ridiculous that apostates find support among each other, as if the one giving the support had supernatural powers to save the other from death and sickness. You feel that by sharing your bogus experience and twisted ideologies among each other, for acceptance and comfort, and protection, your delusional feeling will save each other from eternal non existence. The so called (Ex JW Community) cannot even save themselves from the coming final destruction. In addition, you now carry the guilt of poisoning your own family (Bloodshed) in the spiritual sense, by guiding them to their own destruction, including children whom will also perish by God's wrath. And as an example during Noah's days all those people outside of Noah’s ark, namely, the men, women, children and newborn babies, the Nephilim the hybrid offspring from the marriage of disobedient angels and human daughters of men, all such then living were suddenly executed by God’s direct act and were thus destroyed forever. So as it was written, so shall it be done. It will be with all persons on earth who are not in harmony with God’s kingdom at the fast-approaching battle of Armageddon.
I was a witness at one time so I can relate to what you are saying because some of these talks by the elders were very condescending, and 🥺🙄ridiculous.😮
What a two good combination of sincere brothers, who wants to help people out from cults. (missed your regular pal, a good actor in your video). Thankyou for those list, some were new to me. It’s beyond words.
This was very good information! I've been woke from this cult for about 10 years now. I wish others in my family & friends would wake up, but I've come to the realization that people are where they are in religion because they need it. They haven't yet reached maturity in God to know that a religion doesn't connect them to Him. It's so sad, but all I can do is love them & be there when they wake up.
A gathering of the unfellowshipped sounds like a terrific idea (plus more than a little subversive against the governing body!) Hope you all had a good day. 👍
matbe soomeday Jesus himself may join the gathering, as he must be unfellwship by now for not regarding the Governing Body to be holier then God himself.

Harrison, your informative Videos are pleasant to my soul. Love you. A special thanks to Riley. Awesome. I wish these vidoes could be translated to languages like hindi, Tamil, and malayalam so that many who are ignorant will know how deceptive this wicked organization is.
There's probably not much that would change their mind but I'd point out that #1 is still their doctrine and that it's a "get out of jail free card" for them to lie from the platform and in the literature to everyone at anytime. They knew 1975 was a lie in 1974 but they were afraid the truth would stumble the congregation. It didn't stop them from continuing to promote that date through 1975 and beyond. Jeffrey Jackson lied to ARC because of shocker #1. The org at one time said it was okay to lie only if the person asking had no right to know the truth. But the ARC had a right to ask and recieve an honest answer. Jeffrey Jackson's response to the ARC wasn't just an "oops". It was a calculated lie that he's said many times because that's what all JWs are taught to do. When they know the unvarnished truth would be recieved unfavorably by unbelievers they lie by misrepresenting the truth to make it more palatable or "seasoned with salt". Anyone that has been a JW for any length of time has done it. This is certainly a question JJ has been asked many times and his response has gone from misrepresenting the truth to outright and bold faced lying about it.
As a Christian with a cousin who is an active JW, this was a very interesting watch. There also was so much comedic relief when you said “Guys, Guys you got my name wrong” lol. Keep up the great work.
Watched you both from your beginings on line. I had to pause the video because i had a surprise visit from 2 elders. I am realy kicking myself because i bought 2 recording devices in the spring in preparation for a formal talking to and i wasnt prepared tonight. I agree with your list apart from the name Jehovah. I go along with the reasoning that we dont know the exact pronounciation... provided the whole background to it is taught. My elders would not answer one single concern i have, they only wanted to know if i follow the GB 100 percent. UN membership is a lie, no conversation. 607... they both held a hand up and cut me off. You cannot talk with indoctrinated blind obedience. Good luck to you both
Shame to have missed the opportunity of having their methods recorded and exposed, but we can all imagine, as many of us have been there. Shake them off Alan, and move on, it’s playground punishment tactics ultimately, be no part of it, let the children play their own internal entrapment games and hold your head up high. You’re the one that sees them, and it, for what it is, and more power you 👍
This is why they deserve no audience! They have no plan to help you in any way, it’s useless sitting with them, they’re going to do what they decide anyway.
#10: Tell me you're a rapist without telling me you're a rapist. #8: So the way to help someone is to throw them to the "enemies of God" and let them be corrupted? #1: See #10
I've heard of these atrocitiea for over 50 years now, and always felt sorry that so many well intended people were victims of such lies... Thanks for exposing them... hope your videos can help...
The shunning is HORRIBLE. And very abusive. It is what toxic narcissists use and cult leaders use to CONTROL. I know several women who went through this, their parents not speaking to them and suddenly leaving them completely ALONE. It's extremely PAINFUL. We are naturally wired for belonging. To be shunned by our entire network or friends and family is devastating.
Your YT channel gets better and better, Harrison my fellow ExJW. What is funny, I also was in the Oxford area all last week, we might even have crossed paths. Small world, even smaller England. Are you perhaps going to be in Stoke-on-Trent tomorrow?
I disassociated myself 3 years ago because of the Child abuse problem in ARC 😢when Jeffrey Jackson said that after my children where being told to stand up for the GOD at school and when tony was buying his whiskey and when asked about the Irish whiskey goes in to telling him about the drink he could have said me and my wife have been to Ireland 😡😡😡
Awesome brother. I never knew about your channel until today. I'm glad to see a fellow brother seeking truth. I was never a JW, but I had friends who were and we discussed ideas. I went from Catholicism to Evangelism, now I'm a AC. Yet because my quest for truth, I get looked at funny just because I don't conform to the norms of the group. I hope to see more of your content
@21:13 Kim and Mikey also pointed out in a vid a couple yrs ago, that the watchtower was willing to make an arrangement to conform to the law of segregation... But when the laws require them to report CSA to them... ya'll know the rest lol It's an insight as to where their priorities are
My wife and I held back from having kids until time took the choice away from us. We were praised for not having children. We decided to start a family in our late 30s and early 40s. We left the religion after having our first child, realising that we didn't want to raise him as a jw. We had our second both in our 40s. We wish we started years ago but as the saying goes, better late than never. We now have the best life ever.
I'm so happy for you 💜

My niece did the same thing. She told me that she didn't want to have children this side of Armageddon. Now her and her husband are both retired and in their mid 60's. They are still jehovah witnesses.
Congratulations for leaving and not raising your children in a cult. They are lucky to have parents who woke up.

"you are still married to him so you have to be in submission to him and do what he says."
My rapist is still a Jehovah's witness but I his victim was accused of the sin that was committed against me and forced out. So much for "Gift in men"
wow. just wow. it's not the first religion that does that 🤮🤮
I am so sorry that happened to you.

None of the teachings of Watchtower can be found in scripture.
Watchtower teaches not to have children "in this system of things."
Bible says...
Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it;.."
Gen.1:28
So God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth."
Gen. 9:1
All of the teachings of Watchtower can be debunked with scripture.

My mum had exactly the same thing said to her by a CO in the early 70s. She left in her 60s, I left in my 40s.

Well done you two! I was raised as jw, left a long time ago but these quotes stills shocked me! There are no words…
Btw I love your hair, Harrison!
@@a.w.3772 Thank you. And yes it would be cruel to kill people for not believing in something they never heard of.
Very good point
They are brainwashed poor children that grew up and it's not easy to find out the truth. Recently i found out Jesus Christ was crucified by Yahweh because his mission was to use his powers to dominate mankind by force. That's why later Yahweh created Islam which is about submission to Allah (many so called other Gods from other religion are the same Yahweh with other name)
@@Relex-p7r no. He has strong point. Looks like a decent person
Hence, for one of Jehovah’s Witnesses to become a member of such a so-called “Christian” association would amount to apostasy."
I find this stance, which hasn't changed to this day to the best of my knowledge, extremely hypocritical of the organization, due to the little known fact (by most active Jehovah's Witnesses) that the Watchtower, Bible and Tract Society was a NGO (non-governmental organization) associated with the United Nations from about 1992 - 2001 when The Guardian news made it public.

Here we are 50 years later and I am so glad I got away from these horrid people and their destructive beliefs. I'm a retired teacher now and it is disgusting

That's it, it's over, despite everything some JWs will go so far as to lose all dignity by clinging to the slightest news that could still give them a semblance of hope, but that's it... it's over.

Christianity is a business first and foremost.

Or some real ones.
I can vouch for this, lol , they treat you like you have “leprosy “. Unclean , unclean I hear them cry as they scramble to avoid you IF they see you.

The term “The Borg” fits this cult perfectly!!
Excellent video!! Reminds me again why I left that religion ❤
The more I see Stephen Lett, the more I’m convinced there’s an alien inside his body, controlling him.
I feel the same … an what kind of ring is he wearing - creep!!
When I saw him for the first time I got a shiver over my back . Creepy guy !
The alien lives in his eyes and controls his cheeks and that supremely messed up smile. I think what is more unnerving is how followers think he’s wonderful
@@coolcucumber2780 it's a masonic ring. Certain freemasons wear them. There are freemasons in various religions including the JW.
No alien in there, that's his inner Facist.

You’re amazing my friend, I’m always excited when you make a new video
Harrison! Man it was good seeing this video pop up!!!
So sorry.
@@kathleenreardon8943 I too feel sorry for my friend. Although, he does see things differently now, which does have an effect.
I probably should not have mentioned anything, but it is the lack of trust and communication that bothers me the most. Now, I feel guilty, as I don't wish to cause trouble. Obviously, I am NOT part of the organisation, and have my own beliefs, which are part of "Babylon the great and false religions"! If he was truly happy, I would be glad for him, but I pick up on when he's not feeling good.
Thank you for your very kind reply though. I try to find the common connections through the various religious beliefs, which I feel most dogmatic religions do the opposite! He is a good person at heart though, and he is obviously entitled to believe whatever he wants to. I just didn't like the way that the communication went down, behind my back. I am not perfect either, by any means so who am I to judge? That's life I guess, but I am glad these guys have had the courage to share their experiences, in general though. And thanks again for reading and replying🙏
Oooh looking forward to this Collab ❤️
It’s as if Jesus had said:”Let these LITTLE ENEMIES OF GOD come to me”.
What nonsense
I was a witness at one time so I can relate to what you are saying because some of these talks by the elders were very condescending, and 🥺🙄ridiculous.😮
Isn't that lovely, given that Jesus preached modesty and humility?
I love that you are making a video together ❤️ YOU ROCK ❤
What a two good combination of sincere brothers, who wants to help people out from cults. (missed your regular pal, a good actor in your video). Thankyou for those list, some were new to me. It’s beyond words.
Thank you Harrison and Riley for doing this video!
Love your videos. Is your tattoo "be the spoon " from The Matrix? Digging the long hair too. 🙂
This is so disgusting and infuriating! 😠
Great video, guys! 👍
And also only part of what the articles are saying. They are distorting facts
Love the synergy when 2 smart xjws get together! Keep it coming !!
There is no hate better than Christian love.
Automatically liked, when I saw Riley! Say no more! 😁
A gathering of the unfellowshipped sounds like a terrific idea (plus more than a little subversive against the governing body!)
Hope you all had a good day. 👍
matbe soomeday Jesus himself may join the gathering, as he must be unfellwship by now for not regarding the Governing Body to be holier then God himself.
Great video mate and nice hair, suits you....bet those Elders are fuming....haha .
Two of my favorite TH-camrs right here!! Great work as usual!
I appreciate that, thank you :)
Thank you for all you post!! It has helped me so much in my mental thinking. Validated my thoughts. Watching this video today spurred my memory that I might have that same book “The Harp of God”…Sure enough…I did!!!!!
Harrison, as soon as I receive my notification of your recent upload I know I am in for wealth of knowledge. I get my coffee my headphones charged and ready for class. The best Harrison regards.
What they'll never tell you that once you've become one you can't leave without losing loved ones and friends
This video will likely help more and more JWs to wake up.
I am grateful for your content.
Fantastic. Your best video yet. I've been out three years and your videos have been a great help in my journey of recovery. Thank you mate.
This is raw Unadulterated fire.
I absolutely love and appreciate the research the time thorough work you put behind each video.
Absolutely amazing videos
Excellent
“Be prepared to be appalled”, it’s JWs, already am.
Oh…oh my god. I thought I knew how bad it’d get but I had no idea. Literally telling rape victims to be considerate of their attacker!
Oh yes. I heard we were evil for being raped. They shunned.
@@janicehussock7735 I am so, so sorry you had to go through that. Just when I think I have heard it all, and that this cult cannot possibly surprise me, I am proven wrong.
I genuinely wonder how these people can sleep at night.
They have no shame.
@@janicehussock7735 I was so disgusted that I haven't even finished the video. Just had to take a break, I was FUMING.

Awesome video, we need more collabs with Riley!!
He's a great guy!
WoW!! Good selection from a vast array of options. Thank you brothers!!
Thank you I needed to hear this
I was shocked with the ARC. I never heard of it until I woke up a few months ago.
How could any Witness watch this video and not run?
Never underestimate the power of self deceit.
My in-laws are JWs (not my husband though), anything that goes against their beliefs is disregarded. They are brainwashed into believing that anyone who contradicts their beliefs, especially ex-JWs, is lying. You can reason with them or have a friendly debate because they aren’t capable of critical thought.
Anything that does not resonate with our Spirit is 100% false doctrine.
Great video, guys. Tysm 🕊️
Ooh, I do love a crossover episode!!
Good video gentlemen. Sorry you're fellow casualty victims of the org's policies, but sending love to you from the U.S. We are all smarter and better off not being part of that wickedness.
Harrison, your informative Videos are pleasant to my soul. Love you. A special thanks to Riley. Awesome. I wish these vidoes could be translated to languages like hindi, Tamil, and malayalam so that many who are ignorant will know how deceptive this wicked organization is.
Awesome and timely video. Thank you so much! How does one respond to the JW who says that most of this is OLD LIGHT?
Watch a few of my other vids I address old light there 👍
You roll your eyes back in your head and exclaim ‘🤪😜🤨😫🤬’
That’s their ‘get out of jail free’ card.
This is certainly a question JJ has been asked many times and his response has gone from misrepresenting the truth to outright and bold faced lying about it.
so glad JEhovah blessed you in gaining so many subscribers so fast 🙏🙏

Thank you guyz for this one… so accurate….l don’t even feel like rejoining the cult..🚮
Why would you belong to such an organization.
Fulfillment of rev 2:27..THEM specifically families.
Like manna..it has an expiry date..the spiritual food/ information .
Who prefers to chew on old food ?
Your YT channel gets better and better, Harrison my fellow ExJW. What is funny, I also was in the Oxford area all last week, we might even have crossed paths. Small world, even smaller England. Are you perhaps going to be in Stoke-on-Trent tomorrow?
Hi there! Unfortunately not. This was filmed a little while ago...
This is so informative.
Excellent video! I’m sure it was extremely hard to narrow down your list to only 10.
As a non-JW I can really hear your elder-type cadence fading as time goes on 😁
Awesome brother.
Everyone should know about this 😔
I can't believe it 😞

I’ve always believed one of the worst quotes came at conventions when apostates were ushered out “ Your invitation has been revoked “
