Yay I love to see moms cloth diapering their babies. This is my second go around with using cloth. I love AIO's but, I prefer the convenience of the pockets. I'm obsessed with bold prints and love how cute my little squishy is wearing it.
I would recommend undoing the snaps. Keeping them all just folded neatly. The rise ones are fine, but if you are trying to change baby its a hassle to undo the snaps then have to do them back up. Especially if baby is fussy. I learned the hard way. Now they get stuffed and folded and then put away.
That’s a good idea. I didn’t even think of that. I appreciate you sharing this recommendation with me. Some diaper changes can be a hassle so one less step is always nice 😊
As a mother myself, you’re making me so proud! You’re gonna be a phenomenal mother. You have so much patience and I loved seeing you prepare for the little one ❤
This was so refreshing to watch. 😊 I will be revisiting cloth diapers this June with my twins. I have the same cloth-ez diapers and they were my favorite out of all the brands I tried. Plus after a while I was tired of stuffing the diapers. I think I am going to try the fitted workhorse ones they have. TFS-❤
Aww thanks! I’m glad to hear that. And congratulations on your twins 🥹. GMD is such an amazing brand. Let me know how you like the workhorse. I’ve been hearing great things about them
I see cloth diapers have really changed over the years! They are all so cute. I really love the print ones, they are so cute. Thank you for sharing your video it was very informative, especially for new moms who have questions about the cloth diapers.
Those snappy things are a great little invention. I have never used cloth diapers but those would have helped. Wow, you are pretty well stocked in diapers. That’s great. Look at that belly. I am so excited for you. Being a mom is the best! I have never thought to test my water to see how hot it gets. Oh neat, I didn’t know you could make them bigger or smaller.
So as of now I’m potty training and completely god rid of disposable diapers i at saving so much money and now wish I really would have used cloth diapers could have saved up so much money instead of using disposable ones also they are really cute and different but like I stated before I was so afraid that’s they would leak or stain really bad but im glad that this works for you
Love to sew other mommas cloth diaper I myself have cloth diapered 2 of my girls and thinking of doing it again but starting newborn I'm due in December
Omg I love that you’re planning ahead! So far cloth diapering is going well. I still use disposable also but it does cut back on the price. Some things to keep in mind when using cloth diapers is storage, wash routine, buying bigger clothes to fit over the cloth bc they can be bulky. Some people also use cloth wipes. If you have anything particular questions let me know ☺️
A tip that i just learned today is that when you change the rise settings, you're gonna want that excess fabric going up instead of down (basically if you were to stick your fingers between the rise snaps, you want your fingers to point towards baby's bellybutton) instead of folding the bottom upwards, you fold the top downwards
I loved watching you go through this process! Im currently prepping my GMD organic cottons too. I just finished my 6th cycle. I heard the org. needs at least 6 cycles so I'm going to do an absorbancy test after to see if they are ready. This was the most fun I've ever had doing laundry haha.

motivators for using cloth
Love to sew other mommas cloth diaper I myself have cloth diapered 2 of my girls and thinking of doing it again but starting newborn I'm due in December
Ohh that’s so exciting! Congratulations and I hope you do cloth diaper from newborn this time around ☺️
How did cloth diapering go? I'm not going to have children for a couple years. But I'm very excited and doing all this research years in advance.

Oh wow, I never knew this! Thanks for sharing. I’m curious now, does it help with leaks or what?
They say that it reduces bulk and fits trimmer so I guess, in turn, it would probably help with leaks
@@thelifeofelle1389 oh that’s neat! Cloth can be really bulky so the trimmer the better. I appreciate you sharing this with me 😊

@@allbutgrey I’m so glad you enjoyed it!! Diaper laundry is the only laundry I’ll look forward to lol. 😂
I tried putting one of these diapers on my niece but she just cried !
@@Patricia-zf4li aww if they aren’t use to wearing them they might not like the feel of them
