I start a random character every season with no POB. Fail to kill one of the pinnacles because of DOT mitigation, then deploy this strat to make a real build after I get 20-40 div 😂. Works everytime.
if you beeing honest you need to cut the profit down by like 50% for map costs minus the amount of time you need to buy these tons of maps per hour, and all of the sudden you will be down to propably 2 div per hour for the most tedious thing you can do ;)... but why i even complain its like a regular thing nowadays that you see these thumbnails with like 10 divs, 20 divs, 100m dps bla bla and if you look deep into the content/mechanics you will see that it is just lying for views or hiding away the most important "little things".
@@intelintelligencesmith4375 it's still the same expense as you could have sold it, and also you would run far less maps because you have to clear. It all seems quite misleading sadly. Was very excited at first...now not so much.
Poe requires deep understanding, probably the safest gain is become always better ejoying success and there's basically no limit and yes, it could be painfull. The only big fear is big nerf like it was on incinerate life gain, but after a certain point you can face any change. Imho loot filter and crafting expertise gives you alot of currency
@@AGVengeyou are correct. This profit is much less. 5-6 maybe 7c per map. You cannot self sustain maps doing this strategy. I would take a guess and say for every invitation you get you would be lucky to get 1-2 map return. So you will likely be having to buy t14 in bulk to sustain.
This seems like a decent strat with maps that have their bosses really close, you can mix maven's atlas points that can spawn an invitation of her's on boss kill, plus wandering path and just run in, kill boss and exit, double dipping on your possible income. Maven's invitations go from 3c to 120c or more.
Maps that have their boss close like mesa have better uses. Namely anything that benefits from quantity from altars to get rid of the boss altar options
I would not recommend running it like this If your build is capable of getting to the boss fast or you can add lightning warp to your build. You just need to pick all boss drop nodes on atlas (synthesis, shaper, elder, sirus guard maps and invitation drops) and map drop double nodes. You buy the giant bulk of whatever map that has easy access to the boss and has a good map near it too and ping-pong them (i prefer crimson temple + city square, because there are a lot of them on trade, but mesa + dunes may work too). My per invitation times are slower (like 12 minutes), but i get some extra profit for maps and invitations, which makes the profit close to the same level and more importantly i can get much more maps to run, because you drop them on the way to the boss or when you kill the said boss. The only problem is that selling the guardian maps may take some time, but they will sell eventually
Yep that works too. I tried to keep it as simple as possible. Also the Conqueror Map node seems to be bugged right now, I would spec out of it for now.
I would really appreciate it if you could make an excel sheet going over your profits for this. It doesnt add up to me. Also, I would really love to see a one hour footage of you doing this strat, to see how you do 195 maps an hour in average (+7,5 bosses) to obtain an invitation every 8 minutes. I find it extremely difficult :D that's loading a map in the map device, loading the map, proccing influence, tp, load hideout in 18,46 seconds on average. That is incredibly fast :D Maybe i need a new build :P
It's really not that difficult to figure out. If you're slow and accounting for killing the map boss every 26~ maps the math is simple... 30 secs a map (IF you're slow) so 2 maps a minute. 2 maps times 60 mins = 120 maps in an hour. On avg you're going to do 26 maps to get an invitation as you're likely to pop to 10% chance for extra progress.. This means you're getting 4.61 invites an hour (120 maps / 26 red altar pops). Invites right now are 1.2 div for the red ones. So 4.61 invites times 1.2 div = 5.53 div an hour (Not including buying maps). So lets say you're buying bulk maps on TFT at 4C a pop because you're overpaying for dumb reason who knows. 4c times 26 = 104c per invitation. Invitations are 276c. So 276 - 104 = 172c PURE profit per invitation. We said we were getting 4.61 invites per hour so 4.61 times 0.74 ( 0.74 = 172c assuming a div = 230c) means you're making 3.44 div per hour PURE profit... This is assuming you're slow, overpaying for maps and generally not efficient. You can easily do a map in 15 seconds and a boss map in like 25ish depending on layout and EASILY get any crap map layout on TFT for 2-3c each. So you can probably make easily 5 div an hour PURE profit just off that math.
Thanks for the great videos, they have helped me a lot with getting back to the game. As a very limited play time - dad gamer, You're really giving me hope that I too will be able to buy a Headhunter for the first time :D
HH are pretty over rated, the first one you get is fun for a bit but you can have just as much fun with a regular build, and they don't make you totally untouchable, buff can wear off on boss etc. Still it's good to have a goal if you've never gotten one
guys.. please dont do this. you will not enjoy your time and will hate the game... there is plenty of low investment strats that you can do thats actually pretty fun
Are there any useful atlas nodes besides the exarch completion node? Maybe the doubled small nodes for any maps u might drop on the first pack? I might actually abuse this a bit with the maps i already have and dont want, im having fun farming blight essence and guardian maps... bout to give sanctum a try after i get my LA endgame setup complete
I like taking the essence nodes and the trials nodes, since I can peak and see if a trial portal is improved offering or an essence is juicy, then i run it if it is before going back
Honestly, for rushing this league I recommend running the trial nodes. Its 4 points invest only and a gift of godess atm is 2.1 div. Its 4 atlas points for 2 additional div every 20 maps or so.
Because he’s selected the searing exarch on the map device, killing a handful of monsters (takes him 8-12 seconds as he mentioned the red “pop” or explosion a couple of times) once that occurs, that’s you “credit” for “running” the map
t-14 to 1-16 are all red maps. So you cant do it with white or yellow maps. Tried this tactic some leagues ago. Was not very good and u can never 6-7 div in hour with that. But it is good to cycle corrupted and mirrorerd maps
Yep, that works. I'm a bit surprised thou that you are selling them. Isn't running them vastly more profitable in the long run? (anymore ... because i know for sure that it WAS more profitable in past leagues)
Running invitations is the same as gamble... You will not make bank 100% of the time. Ppl who are boss killers, profit more from doing services or challenges than the boss itself.
I love PoE. Played since beta and got the Legacy pack. Since it came out on PS I've played that version exclusively. I love it on console, and much rather play any game on console over PC. But every video about PoE currency farming is a moot point for console players because console trade is nowhere near as dependable as it is on PC. I did 2 runs of it, and it got boring already. And since the prices of inivitations are gonna tank in maybe 4-5 hours...this is not worth doing. Unless you run the Invitations yourself and get lucky drops

This strategy is very good for those characters which can boss well no problem with clearing random mobs. Did this past two leagues 100% recommended.
i think i FINALLY found a farming strategy that works for me. for the longest time i couldnt find one that really made me money until today. tyty
