@@kimaboe I know this is an old comment but I have an answer for you, it is highly likely that Magnus would be worse, not by much but he wouldn’t have the edge he has over other super GMs, he relies on his intuition to know when to attack and defend and play passively, that cannot be taught but it can be untaught, which it likely would be under a rigorous study based learning approach

DO NOT let go of your passion or dreams just because there are people out there also fighting for the same thing as you do and are currently "better". You are young. You have a very big life ahead of you with a really big advantage compared to others. You are very smart for your age. All I ever wanted in my life is to be just as smart as you at your age. Just a thought. I know it was a few decades ago, but is there any chance the clocks were hooked up to the board? It would be super cool to see the clock times on the side, and be able to see how much each player had left after each move (like lichess shows in the analysis board after a game). Maybe an idea for future game analysis (of more modern games). And maybe a little square in the corner of the video with just the time control of the game shown, so we know that as well.
