Zany Golf was my favorite computer mini golf game growing up in the late 1980s. Due to the RAM limitations of the time, there were only nine holes for the course, but the 3-D graphics (for the Apple IIGS) were excellent. The game was pretty challenging because there was a stroke limit, and if you ran out of strokes before the 9th hole it was game over, but you could add bonus strokes to your score by hitting the ball into the windmill/castle or completing the hole quickly. I could never complete the last hole, which was set in an energy lab. this game almost needs a power meter just due to the fact you can't see your putter when you pull it back sometimes.
