This was a wonderful presentation by an acknowledged expert in the field of nutrition with a focus on plant based diets. I was present during the event and was delighted to see the large number of audience members compared to many years ago when this subject was more of a novelty. Over the years, the nutritional aspects of veganism have matured and a lot more evidence has been developed in support of a whole food plant based diet. There is still more work to do to convince those in the medical profession that a high quality vegan diet is one of the best, if not the best, for most people to consume. Thank you Brenda for spreading the word.
