Going back to this song after hearing that Wednesday’s Infidelity is completely finished. I did research and yes, all of these songs have direct meaning to them. Wistfulness means that Mickey desires something but he knows he can’t have it, probably either he wants to either love Minnie or keep on living but he knows that he can’t go on anymore. Dejection means that Mickey has reached his lowest point, meaning that this situation has really broken him. Unknown Suffering would explain why he suddenly snapped; someone is causing him to suffer and influence him, which we later see is the devil. Versiculus Iratus means wrathful honest lines, meaning that Mickey is being completely honest about his feelings and doesn’t want to be here, or that the devil is saying that this is his fate like what he says at the end of Hellhole.
