Mornin Zac! I have had a Summit since they came out. Great press I use as my "portable" for loading off my tail gate. Haven't used this way in years since my main range changed there lay out. I changed out adjustment bolt in rear as I was getting some runout issues. The master plate is also nice feature. I have one but its not mounted yet. Maybe a good project! I always thought routed below surface so its flush when complete might be slick... Good stuff man! ❤
Set the lock ring on the die and tighten it to the die , when you pull the die back out of the press use a wrench to loosen the lock ring without undoing the set screw in the lock ring that will keep the settings you have so the next time you use the die it will be close to your desired setting for mag length.
I was looking at this press as my first and only press to reload 9mm. I like the design and the small footprint. I'm from Rome, Italy, and here the price is about €400. I heard about a few people complaining about the press breaking into two at the top. Apparently RCBS seem to have come up with a fix. Any ideas ? Do you think I can use the Lee Breech Lock Quick Change Bushing ? It would streamline this single state press. Advice is always appreciated!

Why not take a bullet that is at spec and seat it in the press, have your micrometer backed off and then lower the press and adjust the micrometer until you feel the die making contact with the bullet?

Correct it was from the stem. You can adjust the stem so that don’t happen.

Those matchmaster seater dies are awesome in my experience
