    Just picked one up and took my first 7 mile round trip to and from work. Stuck to throttle only and got home with half my battery still remaining. My first experience of electric bikes and it's an absolute game changer.

    I got mine about two years ago. I guess they update the fenders because yours look way better than mine. The ones mine came with don't help for shit. I always end up soaked. Thank you so much for posting this video though! Like I said I've had this bike for two years and I couldn't figure out how to fold it. No instructions or anything. Your video showed me how to do it

    • @FixMyBleep

    Thank you for the video. I have had this bike since October and did not know how to put it in full electric mode. You would think the instructions would tell me how. I even tried to contact the company. Can't wait for it to get warm so I can wild out. I replaced my seat and took off the wheel covers.. added a water bottle holder to those 2 holes.

      You are very welcome! The instructions definitely were lacking information, but it sounds like you are all set once spring arrives. 3 years too late TH-cam finally gives me videos about this bike. Mine was rebranded as a Vivi. Vivi was no help. It came without any printed material. In 3 years I have gone through 2 batteries and a lot of headaches. If I knew then what I know now I would have never gotten it. It's obvious to me that they don't care about customer satisfaction.

    • @FixMyBleep

      Thanks for the comments! These are made in a Chinese factory that looks like it was re-branded or bought out by another Chinese brand and is basically the same bike with a slightly different look now. I can't say I've had any major issues, but also don't ride more than once or twice a week for short routes with the kids now. The battery can be a little quirky charging for sure.

    I bought this bike this week, arrived in 2 days! This video really helped me out. However, I'm having issues with the bag that the battery comes in! Definitely, and congrats on your purchase! So it took me a couple of tries on getting the battery bag hung correctly. I had to pull the velcro super tight to finally get it right. Wrap it around the handle bars as tight as you can get it to hold all the weight of the battery, and make sure your cables are against the post, hope that helps. Thanks for the comment!

    it is some time better to look at the final picture of what the item look like. and start with the easy parts 1st
    i replaced my kick stand as not that good on my bike for a two sided centre one like some scooters have hold better.
    are you not missing the water bottle fitting for the two holes on the front half of frame.
    I got it because it folded easier to put in car and takes less space when not in use.

    • @FixMyBleep
      @FixMyBleep  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello, I've heard that some of these are shipping with the throttle requiring assembly. So here is what you you need to do: open the controller and find the unused connector. Connected the throttle cable up to that and it should work. You may also choose to disconnect the White 'Speed Limiter' but that is your call, I hadn't even realized that was an option till I was playing around with the bike. I hope this helps you. 🚲

      @shenmeowzo ปีที่แล้ว

      @@FixMyBleep thanks for the tips. I had managed to connect the throttle last night, but I didn't know about the limiter. A video on TH-cam suggested you need to buy an expensive connector to attach. But you're saying u just unplug one of the existing wires? Nice. That's much easier to do. I need extra power because I live in a very hilly area and this bike doesn't help you very well up steep hills.

Standard wear and tear, replaced the seat, and post. fixed quite a few flats, tightened up some things and adjustments/fine tuning. @@FixMyBleep Awesome thanks for the reply =) I assume most stuff will be somewhat universal/compatible. I have an older k2 bike and recently the derailleur hanger broke, despite it being a popular brand it was still somewhat of a chore to find it so that’s kinda what has me worried and why I’m looking now for any bikes that are the same as this one.
      I’m also curious about the electronics and if they’ll handle 44.4v as I have a bunch of 3s rc lipo batteries I can make a spare pack out of, I suppose I’ll just have to wait to get the bike and see if I can identify the individual parts for that stuff.

    • @FixMyBleep
      @FixMyBleep  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes to some extent, but the fenders aren't great, so water resistant yes, waterproof, no. Small puddles are ok, light rain you will be ok, the battery compartment is protected along with the electronics, but not if you end up in a downpour (that won't be good). Now I haven't tested it as of yet in heavy rain, but after riding it for a year and a half, pretty sure you would be ok in most other circumstances. Thanks for the comment!

    Thanks for making the video. There's a similar bike on Amazon called Vivi. I notice that there are 2 variants that is currently available on that bike with regards to the location of the controller. Your bike has the controller located just above the pedals. I'm assuming this is the older version of this bike. The new variant has the controller's location mounted on the frame just below the seat. I want to ask your opinion on which would you prefer. With your bike, have you had any issues as far as the controller being "in the way"? what I mean by that is has any part of your lower leg hit or made contact with the controller when you pedal? I think I would prefer your bike with the controller mounter above the pedals. The other version with the controller located below the seat would cause more obstruction when pedalling I think.

      It's 1" into the bike frame and narrows to 3/4" going into the bottom of the seat.

      @FixMyBleep  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Loose the knobbie tires if at all possible, keep the battery pack cool and charged all the way up, check your model of bike and make sure it doesn't have a restrictor on it (you can remove in some cases to increase the speed) some bikes you can also add a higher voltage battery but again verify it won't damage the motor. Hope that helps, and thanks for the comment!

    How fast is it on pure electric mode??

    • @FixMyBleep
      @FixMyBleep  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Because of the heavy frame of this electric bike, the top speed running electric only is maybe 15 or 16mph. Thanks for the comment!

    • @shaochiavang
      @shaochiavang 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I get around 17.4 - 18 mph on a full charge. Once it hits about 65% and lower the bike can prob just go 17 mph. 50% of lower would be just about 15 mph

      Good to know! I haven't had to deal with them directly. Here is what I found regarding Warranty info: Email: service@ancheer.shop Tel: 00-1-626-333-4255 (9:00 am to 6:00 pm on a working day in Hong Kong time zone) Address: 5521 Schaefer Ave, Chino CA 91710
      So yes, you are dealing with a Chinese product.
      Their site states: We guarantee a 1-year warranty. We accept return within 7 days and replace within 15 days if any quality problems. I do love the part on Ancheer's site about "non human" damage LOL.

    Due to China being in Covid and Government Drama with world economy, Im not going to assume their products be around long as I know there will be a period of time , the products will be delayed, lost in cargo holding in ports, or even suspended, if not a very high price hike. I went ahead and bought a few e bikes and conversion kits for this reason and BEST to fyi all, it's better to buy what you can now before China closes it's business or US of the products. Once it happens of the shortages, prices of e bikes ( no matter where it was built) will go up 10 fold!!!

      @@FixMyBleep Oh yeah!!! I put some thought to this as the vendors away from China will be taking advantage of the upcoming drama of raising their prices knowing the competition not going to be around soon of hiking the prices as a limited supply basis of the highest bidder tactic.

    Bought this a few years ago for Christmas: after the first month the battery started to fade, getting very little power, and then while riding one of the pedals broke off into pieces in the middle of the road. I weigh 210 and was riding it normally to the grocery store. Very dangerous. BUYER BEWARE!

    • @FixMyBleep
      @FixMyBleep  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh that's no good! Did you contact the seller, or Ancheer? So far everything has been great but the stock seat is not comfortable that the bike comes with. I haven't had any battery issues, or problems with the bike as of yet and ride it a couple times a week. Sorry to hear it was a dud for you, but thank you for the comment!

    • @Listen2mycreep
      @Listen2mycreep 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@FixMyBleep I was meaning to but never did get around to contacting the seller. It is a shame because my family expressed lots of concern about how low the price was, but I found a review online which pretty much convinced me that it would hold up and told them not to worry - and it did work great for the first few weeks. But after the first really long ride across town things all started going downhill. So, a pretty embarrassing moment that I would rather forget. But it is important that people know about the potential issues especially regarding the pedals
