If Miguel continues to show improvements (even gradually) with his confidence and projection as what he did for his last three performances, I bet he will be the right one for this year's competition. No question with/about his singing ability, 'coz... the search needs not those with so much (and exaggerating) talents but... only a real icon to be an IDOL... and he has such quality.

His agility (speed) in executing the runs and the ascending/descending scales are extremely impressive. His voice hits me as an untrained coloratura tenor (they have a classical term for that but I'm not sure, might be "Leggerio"). He's really talented.

@@yourmajesty7604 I am not really a fan of Mariah's coloratura and fioratura, sometimes, they are not even and balanced (as Whitney's or Beyoncé's) and at times, they sound slurred. But I am a fan of her, her resonance is untouchable.

I am a Moira fan though bec she is a great composer and a good person but I am starting to appreciate James' talent and intelligence in this show. I thought they only got him as a judge bec he produces his own music, may boses din pala. at kaya niyang maging objective, to exaggerate, siya ang Simon Cowell sa kanilang apat.
Objective? Ni wala mga syang kaalam alam sa mga technicalities ng pagkanta. Puro "i like your voice, i really like your tone" Hindi nakakaobjective ang pa-english lang.

At first everyone bashed James being one of the judge of Idol pH. Why James Reid daw?? But after 2to 3 episodes everyone praised him being a straight forward judge and can't be influenced by anyone. He has an ear for music bcoz James is a singer, songwriter and producer of his own music label Careless Music Manila. Bcoz many are so inggit at hypocrite many bashed him, now what can you say about James Reid being the judge. True enough that he is a good judge and better in his judgement whom to say yes for Idol pH... Keep it up James....
