I had to rewind to watch that again, but yeah, he clicked through that so fast, I think we're just so used to targeting ward creatures after we know we can pay the ward we don't even think about it anymore.
I'm about to leave for the prerelease, thanks Nummy for grinding out as many drafts, pools, and games as possible during the limited timeframe. Just seeing plotting in action gives me a much better handle on it, on top of all the other stuff getting to experience to set through your content that gives me an advantage.
Thank you for posting videos of the event! With the extra insight I managed to go undefeated at my pre-release last night :) but it also helps to pull the nuts. I was running thoughtseize, tinybones, rush of dread, greeds gambit, and villainous wealth 😅
Gissa plus Rush of Dread and a decent supporting Orzhov deck (and that 3 mana tutor) won me my first sealed event on Friday against some very strong players and decks; she is an absolute powerhouse!
They really missed an opportunity to do a multi-level pun with Mobile HomeSteed instead of Mobile Homestead. Coulda just made the horse mechanical and a part of the home.
10:58, Nummy you said that it didn’t give the prompt for ward, it absolutely did give the prompt. You skippped thru it very quickly; but it definitely did prompt you for it.
At 30:00 was there a reason for not playing Cactarantula instead of the hydra, equipping it and getting a 7/7 token and attacking for 7? I don't really see it.
33:00 Pretty sure if you equipped the boots to the damage token you would’ve saved it, since the boots give ward 1 and your opponent was tapped out. It says on the card target creature. Or am I wrong for thinking that?
Sometimes Arena will give you a prompt that says "Are you sure?" When you target something you might not want to target, like your own creature or a creature with ward. The post-ward fail land drop of shame is still a real thing though, and a super easy mistake to make when you're playing fast (especially understandable in a limited time event)
Just came back from a pre-release event and I made basically the same deck! With some mounts, the meteor girl and the hydra! I went 2/2, a little bit above average
The foreshadow when asking "What could Grah have for 2 mana," was peak, perfectly timed, emergent comedy.
You actually clicked through the Yes or No prompt when you tried to hit the Gisa ☠️
That double ward is tricksy. But ya, he blew through the prompt. Nummy rushing through the special event though so I mean he can only be so on it.

He didn't have the Mana to pay the two because he didn't play the land. Just as he said in the vid.
@@cjackfly But the prompt allows you to cancel the cast and play the land before you target
35:17 Wow that's ridiculous

Roxanne makes me want to jam out to "Roxanne, but it's just rocks"
You know, I am totally down for 'pre-releases' against Graham.
42:55 I was like.... Noooo mana drain icoming !
Great content. After playing prerelease last night and after seeing this vid, can confirm that this format is a good time

Really appreciate Nummy giving us the content even when making it has to be frustrating because of WotC's managing of the early access.

50:25 acting like you just discovered this awesome new combo after you just did it before😂

I love how you say "seeeal" at the beginning XD
11:00 they did keep the prompt you just skipped through it probably used from MKM
39:10 this deck was not just sick, it was terminally ill. my god
Cool run. Lots of fun and great set of games. Love the content.
Tied for first in my Thunder Junction draft tonight! Thanks again Kenji for helping me git gud. ❤
I hope you gonna play with the LRRMTG guys some Canadian Highlander some day. Keep it up.
Wow
Crazy final match and under an hour to boot
Holy cow
Yeah, that Tumblewag is busted af 😂
What prompt is he talking about with ward? I saw the yes or now. But was there another one?

That's the prompt. He clicked right through it.
Amazing deck !
Just came back from a pre-release event and I made basically the same deck! With some mounts, the meteor girl and the hydra! I went 2/2, a little bit above average
That brushwag is so good
We've had Joleeene... Now it's time for Roxanne
Did a prerelease playing grixis and went 4-1 was pretty damn fun.
I checked mtg arena is it just early access right now
This deck was awesome, I am looking forward to prerelease tomorrow.
Props to the first opponent. He knew you had the land but you just misplayed. So he let you kill gisa.
Assimilation Aegis is just fractured identity on steroïds since it stays on battlefield after wrath effects 😮
I got 9 green cards in my paper sealed tonight. FML
0:17 An inclusive company being exclusive hmmm
Poor Mr G Stark. Stomped.
First!
Keep up the great content Numot!
nice video, play draft pliss
I’d be so happy if they took away the prompt.
they should have brought back banding for this set!!!!!!
