Untill hard mode, then everyone uses it, now i use it every playthrough, it does more damage, its objectivly the best secondary, but only with then the "hold down button for secondary" control layout
@@dkisepic9355Z knuckle is cool enough that it makes up for it imo, its the easiest hard mode if the Axeloid axe is available, basically Ulimate Saber
I think the only place I found it invaluable was when protecting Ciel in the bombing run of Zero 2, and even that was just using its most basic function.
Play however you want, and don’t let someone like me ruin you self perception whenever you play. Besides, this game is very tough, so anything you can do with this game is still impressive
tbh boomerang is really good for that whole stage. Forgot to include it but the damage stacking trick (example at 2:49) also works on the reactor core midbosses. And it TEARS through them
I’m not sure about Z3, but for Z1 and Z2 as long as Zero is in the ascending part of his jump the shield will arc upwards. Z3 I think changes the mechanics of this slightly but I’d have to double check
Every game in the series has a unique combo system that lets you hit bosses multiple times. In Z1 moves such as the first two saber hits and first two rod hits don’t cause the boss to get i frames so you can combo those for a lot of damage. In Z2 you can combo just about any move into either a triple slash or charged chain rod, but that’s about it. Z3 expands on this by letting you get a combo of up to 7 hits by using different combinations of EX skills, like Split Heavens into Saber Smash. Z4 is pretty much the same as Z3 but with less EX skills to work with.
Yeah you can do a dash jump with the shield out. It’s a pretty tight input though since you pretty much have to press dash and jump at the exact same time. I know MMZ3 has the autocharge chip, which lets you charge the shield without having to take it out. MMZ1 you can charge a weapon like the saber that lets you dash and then switch from the saber to shield while holding the charge and it lets you keep the charge without having to do any shield dashing. Idk any other way to dash and charge shield in Z2 tho unless there’s like an elf that can do auto charge
"Boomerang sucks, no one uses it"
DK be like when he use it:

@@The_NatalistI still wish they had the boomerang in Z4. 😢

Some of these are hella creative actually, well done. I love the Boomerang, I wish more people knew I good it was with Type B.
how good*
Sick, I knew some tricks with it already but some of the stuff in this video is completely new to me
The shield boomerang does not suck, it’s just that players suck at utilising the shield boomerang.
by watching vids like these makes me think that i suck
No you dont shield bomerang is hard to use

WTF NO SABIA QUE SE PODIA HACER ESO CONTRA ESE MINI BOSS 1:43
estuve sorprendido también cuando lo aprendí
Ive underestimated to power of the boomerang..
I'm gonna use it against Phoenix from now on.

I didn't know you could charge the shield while it is looping around you. That's gonna be useful
Now I know why they didn't have any other wepons besides z saber buster shot z knuckle
El shieldboomeran Esta Rotisimo Si se usa Bien es super divertido de usar tambien

Geezus, I didn’t know you pull out a ledge for the forest minibosses in Zero 2… 🤦🏿♂️
3:30 someone's ticklish.
wait how do you throw your shield up on the air?

Como es que hace eso del combo espada y escudo?

Y olvidé que mencionar esto pero el combo con la espada y escudo trabaja solamente en MMZ1

How are you keep hitting the enemies (chain damage)

How do you dash when you equip the shield on?
I can see some shield dash-jumping, but do they shield regular-dash?
