Looks like a hybrid of Tom Bihn Guide Pack and the Mystery Ranch access and organization. I like the concept and design! Here is some feedback for this Kickstarter project: 1) For the front zipper compartment that opens like a duffel, have duel zippers. This allows direct access to bottom of the main compartment instead of having to zip all the way down. 2) For the exterior buckles when accessing bag through the top compartment, replace with magnetic buckles. This allows greater ease of use. 3) For the two internal side compartments that has velcro, replace with magnets. A better silent option at securing the pockets and a less noisy option for those who will use it in office settings. 4) Add a side quick access entry to laptop. It currently takes 2 steps to access the laptop - Unbuckle the two exterior buckles and undo the ruck fastener to access the laptop. 5) Suspend the laptop compartment. From what I remember, their previous project did not have a suspended laptop compartment and I don't believe anything was mentioned in this video.
the laptop sleeve is definitely suspended off the ground on this, and the Alpha. Fidlock buckles for the main entry would increase the cost and maybe the 'cool factor,' but nothing else.
If this had a clam shell style zippered main compartment instead of a top flap and a couple of zippered pockets or even a mesh pocket on the front i'd buy this bag for sure.
I love it, I FINALLY found a bag that has and does everything I need! Wait....it's a Kickstarter so it doesn't really exist yet. Well I can probably wait a little longer, let's see what the price is.........never mind. The search continues...

I think this bag needed all the improvements that you mentioned and sadly none were implemented.

Almost pulled the trigger.. couldn’t get pas the price point..... went with the mission work shop drift tote bag instead...
