    That very sincere and very detailed info you've given there, in the video. It's all positive in a lot of ways cos I believe the whole system has been designed to allow Tier 2 skilled nurses to gradually 'warm up' to their new geographical environment and not be stressed with multiple jobs and/or other adventures that we are typically capable of exploiting than the average British. It's all gonna pass in 5 years when you'll eventually be 'set free' with right of indefinite stay, etc etc.

    As a mental health practitioner, working over 40hrs don’t make sense cox you loose the overtime pay on tax and NI. I get less than £600 everytime I work £980 weekly and still get the same when I work £700 weekly.

    Nice informative video. I really like it.. please I have a question to ask, I came into the uk via a Tier 2 visa and in my COS the contracted hours was 48hrs per week . I spoke to my home manager that I can't keep up with this as it is too stressful for me and it has been reduced to 33hours per week. Please would this be a problem when I want to reapply for a visa renewal?

    • @DinaBarffo
      @DinaBarffo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It shouldnt be a problem because the Home Office even says that if you will work for some one for more than 20hrs, they should get you a CoS and this is 33hrs. Therefore it should be ok

    • @DinaBarffo
      @DinaBarffo  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      After working on Tier 2 visa for 5 years, you qualify for ILR. But during this 5 years period, you should not stay outside the UK for more than 180 days. So for example, if u wish to visit your family back home, or take a holiday anywhere outside the UK, u shouldn't stay there for more than 180 days. If u stay more than 180 days, you have gone against the rules so they might deny u ILR. Please ask the nurses who were denied and let's see the reasons why they were denied.

      To the best of my knowledge, skilled workers are allowed to work 20 hours a week, aside their normal contracted hours. However, the 20 hours extra work u do should be a type of job that is in the same occupational code as your primary job. So as u work as a carer, ur extra hours should be a similar job. Warehouse job will obviously be in a different occupation code to the carer job. I hope u understand.

I asked a friend of mine and she said they've still not changed it so hopefully, it will not be a problem in the future when u go to apply for ur ILR. As far as I am aware, you're allowed 20 hours extra work aside your regular contracted hours so it is not right at all for them to say that they'll report you to the home office. You need to challenge them and ask them "on what grounds can they report you to the home office". You can print out a copy of the Tier 2 policy and show it to them if they challenge you. Don't let them bully you at all my dear. You have every right to register with an agency. Whatever you do on your off days should not be of concern to them. Don't let them bully you dear.
