back in when these dropped at FLY skateshop in Shanghai they sat, wished i would've grabbed them all smh, speaking of The Root's Picnic, I was their interpreter for the day when they toured Shanghai in 2007

@@tykisa82 yea their tour manager got in touch through a friend at the time and I ended up with the gig, it was their Game Theory album tour, took them around Shanghai, hit up a couple of sneaker stores and they cashed out at the bootleg DVD store LOL Questlove put me on "The WIre" tv show , long story short through the same tour manager I also ended doing interpreting for Talib Kweli and Common when they toured Beijing

I'm truly honored to have someone with your life experience check out my video (real talk) - surprisingly, I've had other sneaker collectors tell me that they had a chance in 2007 to get the original DOOMs but didn't...it's all good though - no need to stress. 😌

@@tykisa82 appreciate it bro! I regrettably sold my pair of DOOM's back in 2015, funny thing is these were referred to as the "Transformers" Dunk amongst sneakerheads in China at that time, cuz they had no clue who MF DOOM was, and they thought the mask logo on the tongue looked like a robot lol
