I love this pattern, just wanted to “warn” anyone else who wanted to use cotton yarn for this top (it is more breathable and better for crocheted summer wear imo, synthetic yarns are too warm for summer clothing). Cotton yarn has virtually no stretch, I had to alter the pattern a lot to make something that would fit me. Great pattern and the top itself is great!
Love this pattern, it’s so much easier than it looks! I followed direction for the medium size but used a 5mm and 6.5mm instead of the 4 & 5 because my yarn was a medium weight. Love the look, love the fit, but I do intend to remake it in the future to spread out the decreases and give myself a little more coverage on the sides just to customize the fit. It’s not uncomfortable as is, it just limits my bra choices a little. Overall it’s a great little tank/ muscle shirt look and it’ll be great for summer layering :”3
Hi Carrie, this tutorial is just so useful. I made with 118 chains . It turned out really nice. And actually this tutorial will further help me in making cardigans, etc by watching ur other tutorials.
I just found this pattern and I've made 2 and working on a 3rd one now. My daughter has worn them a lot so far. I'm making them in so many different colors for her for spring and summer.
LOVE this tutorial and LOVE the written patterns with multiple size options! Tutorial was so easy to follow along with and the written pattern was so easy to understand. I crocheted my top in Citron Yellow and Pastel pink, super cute cannot wait to wear!
made this in white! on the decrease rows, i decreased every other row instead for more coverage (wider neckline). thank you for the tutorial. it was so much fun to make
I love this tank top so much!! I think it would look so cute if you did the ribbed parts in a different color than the main body of the top. I might have to try that!
Thank you so much for sharing your tutorials! I've made this in a worsted weight yarn to wear as a layer over t-shirts and such, like a vest! Love it and your channel ❤
I love the way that you filming your videos, and the things that you are making. it's easy to understand them 🤎🤎🌷. I made it , and I am so proud to myself . And I want to make another one 💕💕🧶. Thank you so much.
I just finished my top but i modified the pattern a bit so instead of single crochet i did half double crochet except on the ribbing and then for the straps i just made one and turned it into a halter either way this is still my favorite top tutorial
Amei o tutorial e mesmo não compreendo tudo que diz , ainda assim consegui entender direitinho o modo de fazer e já estou confeccionado minha peça 👏👏😍😍😘😘 I love crochet .😁😁
I taught myself to read a pattern years ago. There was no TH-cam. It's really not that difficult. I'm glad TH-cam exists now to help other's learn. I enjoy learning by watching as well. I learn something new by watching too.🌹
This is beautiful. I have made one for my daughter and it has turned out absolutely gorgeous. Well done for the amazing video. Keep posting more please.
Hi Carrie! That top is so lovely, perfect for summer days! Latelly, I've been making clothes for my kids but I want to start to make some crochet pieces for myself and this top is perfect! Thank you so much for sharing with us :)
Carrie I do alot of crocheting n this is so easy n gorgeous...thank you so much.. u are amazing the way u explain yourself...lots of blessings to u💯🙏❤️
Thanks , you explain every thing so clearly. I want to make a kind of camisole using very thin yarn ( I have a #1 yarn ). I want to wear it under my other crochet tops. Just wide enough to cover the bra. I'll use this pattern , but make the front lower. I am exited to start that project.
Im new to crochet and this was a very easy video to follow so thank you ! Although I would like to know, why do we need to have an even number of rows/stitches ?
I think this is great pattern. I do have a question. When you start the ribbing on the top right for the last section, why don't you continue working as if the beginning of the back ribbing was where you just left off? Do you need to chain five when you could just continue? It would save time having to attach it later.
Beautiful top!! I made this for my daughter, I used a 100% cotton yarn by Circulo, called Charme. I notice that it loses its form at the bottom ribbing when she pulls over her head to wear it, it later gets back into form. Also, the shoulder straps keep stretching. I have had to adjust twice by shortening the length. Any suggestions on what yarn to use that will remain shape and not stretch at the shoulder straps? Thank you, I intend to crochet this top again but with a different yarn. I need suggestions.
Hi, I love the top and amazing tutorial. 😊❤️ I was wondering after making the ribbed could we make the top longer length wise instead of 7 inches? Like say 10 inches instead? I would like for my tummy area not to show. Thanks bunches. 😊
@@HeyCarrieCrochet Hello good evening!! Excuse me, I would like to know if this top, what size have you made, and how could I make one in a medium size? because I loved it !!! greetings and thank you very much.

Beautiful! Love how the stitches are easy and the texture they create looks amazing. The ribbing gives it a very elegant touch. Well done, Carrie!

cotton has a lot of give when it gets wet or you sweat so make it a bit snug
did it use up a lot of yarn to make?
@@tingyi5292 not really, like 4 Lily’s cotton skeins?? The project is retired and I’m never gonna wear it, but that’s what I’m remembering.
what alterations did you do??

Beautiful. I love it. I tried making it but it's kind of hard putting it on. How do I correct that?
If you used something like cotton, it has no stretch, so that might be the problem.
Love this pattern!!!!!!
