I'm more of a fan of the colorful grey over white birds, but your low-vis scheme turned out great. I haven't tried black basing yet, (nor the salt technique) but it looks like a great way to sneak in some practice for WWII Luftwaffe camouflage! The lighter "touch up" around the access panels (along with the darker areas where they were handled by grubby hands) finishes the mottled look of a USN jet that's been at sea for a while. Great job on one of my favorite USN jets!
Excellent build indeed!!! Just one observation would have been to put a very light coat of clear smoke on the large canopy sections.May have to source this kit myself.
@@PerisModels I thought that might be the reason as the pit did look very nice.Well the bottom line is this is a piece of outstanding workmanship and thank you very much for sharing your process with us!!
Congratulations on the assembly. I suggest a video showing the assembly of the 1/48 kit from Kinetic of Mirage IIIE Those parts of the air intakes and the bottom part of the cannons, only modelers with experience to assemble them correctly. Thank you .
This is excellent work. Was your gloss coat acrylic? I ask because I use acrylics paints, and I've had trouble with the Tamiya panel line wash messing up my paint job.
@Peri's Models Got it, thanks! I just started this kit, and your build videos are serving as a 'handrail' for me, so to speak. Though I'm doing the earlier grey over white scheme. You do such excellent work, Peri, and your presentation is spot on, in my opinion!
Unique subject! Fantastic build!
Thank you very much
Great build, fantastic finish. And a subject you don't see very often - great choice. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers 😁😁😁

I discussed this with my client and it would have made impossible to look and see all the lovely cockpit detail

excellent build & finish..
Thanks peter 😁
Nice build! I think there is still some salt on that refuelling pod at 17:26, you might want to touch up on that.
Thank you
I will have a look
Great job! What do you use to polish your canopy's?
Thank you
Usually tamiya compound and car wax
Peri's Models awesome thank you! I will have to get my self some. Your canopy’s always look so clean!

Got my Prowler almost finished but the canopies have such a terrible fit, so I think will keep them opened

Question- did you re-scribe all the panel lines on this model, or only those that had lost detail during construction?
Only those that the detail was lost

@@skyvintage to Tint or the external paint?
Dark gull grey
@@PerisModels thanks a lot !!
How did you find your decals? I’m guessing they were the aero master set?
Yes they were
Not great but better than the old ones from the kit 🤣
Peri's Models Thanks for the reply!
My Hoover is in the mail. Very excited to have your video to reference
Wow!👍🏼
Beautiful Viking - stole a few hundred hours in the SO and ATAC seats, always "annoying" they had such TINY windows.
Still waiting on that 32nd scale Korean war spade....lol...good job on this
