Why does the flash drain the battery when turned off? Its generally flat after a day even if i dont use it?

@@CanonUSA It is not a battery issue. If you leave a battery inside a flash fully charged without use, in 8 hours it will be drained to 35%. That is not good. Flash is draining a battery and you have to fix that. I have 2 brand new flashes and they behave same. If you leave fully charged battery outside of flash, in 8 hours it will be at 92%. So it is a flash battery drainage problem.

Did you fix the problem where the triggers loose sync link every 5 minutes causing you to have to turn off and on all flashes and the trigger to get it working again?

does this flash work with my R5 off flash?
Does this flash uses those LED as an AF assist when in low light ? Since low light is a problem with all mirorrless cameras for AF, this would be awesome.

can you use TTL and HSS simultaneously?

Does the EL-5 (or EL-1) work in Auto Focus Bracketing mode on newer R cameras (R3, R7, R8, R10, R6ii, R50)? I want to use this function with flash for macro. Is anyone with the appropriate R Camera/Flash combination able to check for me? Thanks in advance!
Not compatible with their flagship R5. Yikes. That doesn't bode well. Seemed like a perfect flash until that...

What is the screen made of? Can it be wiped without worrying about it getting micro-scratches?
There is a white piece of paper when taking out the diffuser. What is it exactly? I've never owned a light like this before

The white card you refer to is the catchlight panel. It can be used to reflect part of the bounced flash forward to produce a catchlight in your subject’s eyes; giving the image more life. Details are listed on pages 60-61 of the manual. Here is a link: canon.us/3PTgeLX.
You can use a soft, lens cloth to clean the LCD panel or the strobe lens on the speedlite. Do not use organic solvents such as alcohol, benzine or paint thinner to clean this speedlite. @CanonUSA - I was told that because the R5 and R5C had the new multi function shoe that it would be supported for the R5 and R5C. Is that incorrect? DO I need to cancel my pre-order?

I have this Speedlight with the Canon R 6 mk 11 and it just eats batteries..Would not do a wedding with this or am I doing something wrong ? Got 35 shots out of it and it died

I have used this at a weeding and only got aprox 30 shots...I fully charged the battery and left it in the camera bag, 2days later it was dead...I have done this twice and the same results.I contacted to seller and they said they haven`t had any others complaints.Ate moment I have loan it to my friend to check it our...will let you know 🤨🤔
I don't understand the product separation you guys are making, why can't it be compatible to the whole R range of cameras, you guys are making a mess out of Canon. Firmware walls of hardware capable bodys, restraining rf mount to third partys, and now flash body limitations, list goes on and on, i regret getting my r6.

R5C compatible?
I am a huge Canon Fan/Nerd. This thing seems goofy. It only works with a few cameras. It uses a battery that looks like an R5/6 battery but isn't. It does not include a charger for that battery. But you can charge it with the charger for your R5/6 (but not my R3). It can't USB C charge either.
Not compatible with my Canon R5. Very disappointing.
We get it, but the EL-5 is for advanced amateurs. The R5 is a pro camera, so they're for different types of photographers.

Not at all - your camera has a different kind of hot shoe.
So, the R6 Mark ii is an advance armature camera? Interesting.
