- Welcome to my channel, I post a lot of Heroes of the Storm gameplay, but I play many games. Please feel free to request any heroes or builds to me and I will do my best to play it.
Why don't I play ranked? I would love to play ranked more and record it, but it simple takes too long to find a game.

Ktz's challenge in a game like this makes him fun, but if you can draft him into the proper enemy team he is easier one of the most fun heroes
Tons of little tips in there like paying attention to the regen globe to help you predict where the enemy is going to go to hit them. The biggest thing though is your point about patience once you hit the first enemy. Great video.
Don't get tilted and have that patience. You'll be a pro ktz in no time

KTZ is that one hero perfectly represented with both his character and his playstyle required to master it. Shout out to the designer of this hero. 🎉
Some thoughts on the talent choices; Power of the Icecrown > Hungering Could when you pair it with Frostblast and you catch at least 3 enemies in it. Sounds rare, yes. However it's perfect vs mostly melee enemies. Besides it'd be useful even with this particular build of yours, sonce you hace cdr on Chains.
Overall this was one ofa kind games, regardless of how much I loathe this hideous map. GJ!
Have you tried building around death and decay? I've recently started to and with frost bomb (or whatever the aoe root ult is) it absolutely destroys any hero, I went 10--0 in ranked the 2nd time I tried the build. It's so strong and combos insanely well with tanks and heros that stun. Also means you don't completely rely on landing the skillshots to do high damage. Lots of fun

I haven't played the game in a few years since Blizzard announced the fame was entering maintenance mode. But seeing this recommended reminds me of how much fun I had with the game.
I really tried learning KTZ at some point, and even got very comfortable with his combo. But I never felt like I impacted the game in a big way with KTZ as I hovered around a 34% win rate with him in bother QM and SL. This has me wanting to get back into the game and try to climb that WR up to 50% again.
Definitely get that wr up!! I've been trying to get a few of my lower winrate heroes higher and it has been a lot of fun!! Probius was the lowest by far at 10% and now he is up to almost 40%!!
I love Hots, and KTZ is my favorite character, but you're right its so punishing in QM lol. I've had the best luck with chains or DnD build than the frost blast one. Hots has to be the best moba, im not looking for a debate its just the truth. Dead game and the best blizzard game ever.

ngl this was kinda fast quest timing, I dont see many ktz do this in QM besides myself. Are you using quick cast on release + top of the ctrl binding? I watched the short, but not still unsure. I came from dota so I dont use quick cast, but this game made the combos look so clean & fast. I might need to learn lol. Also, about your talent. I think Q frostblast is the most consistent because it gives you so much wave clear/push @ 20 with shade. You don't get the wombo combo insta burst, but you get a lot more macro. Auto spell dmg on 7 is good self peel on top of a combo setup with frost armor. Also good to bypass physical armor.
Also, I notice you mouse click your talents. You can click control + 1 (top) 2 (middle) or 3 (bottom) to choose your talent. Very helpful if you are in middle of a TF and you level up. Entertaining vid- server btw?
So I use quick cast on everything, however if I want to use quick cast off I simply hold CTRL and press the ability I want to cast. When I started playing HotS I used the default settings of quick cast off. Now that I know the range of all the abilities in the game I can use quick cast for the slightly faster cast time that comes in handy sometimes.
Q + frostblast is the easier build. If you go Q + frostblast you are 100% going to hit that hero or force them to use a safety ability. You can do that every 50s but that kind of all you have. With that being said a lot of ktz's talents are talents that make it easier to land your spells or they increase your damage. Frostblast isn't needed if you can just land a combo. That's the same reason I don't go for the auto slow at 7. I will say however that my lvl 4 talents vary the most. Lifesteal is the talent I pick the most on that tier. I mentioned in the video that a ktz W + Q will one shot a minion wave so there is no need to spec into talents for waveclear in my opinion.
As for fast picking talents, I honestly should use it more often. I didn't know that that feature was a thing when I started playing so it's habit to not use it. If I play ranked and don't record I will sometimes remember to use it but more often then not I just forget lol.
