I just went there and it was a really long drive, beautiful little town. Those miners must have been tough as nails to walk around out there in those mountains 🏔️. Nice video
Yes Zeballos is a neat little town. I've been there twice.Once when it was raining and once when it was sunny. Best go on a sunny day. Hey ... thanks for watching. I appreciate it.
Prior to having the street put in, the main lane was actually called "Rotten Row" because of all the sea muck that came in with the tide. Hey....thank you for commenting and watching.
From what I had read it was a Albert Bird who actually discovered the mine. I don't remember reading a name Albert Bloom but keep in mind I have read thousands of old mining documents over the years now and I do get things mixed up from time to time. I also notice that the village of Zeballos has a few web pages missing now that were referred to in Wikipedia. I was in Zeballos last winter for a day but most everything was closed. Thank you for watching.
Wow we lived in Sayward for almost 25 years
You would know my father in law most likely. His name was Henry Olsson. He worked for M&B.
Another good one!
Thanks for watching!
I live in this little village and that was a great short story 😊
Small world. My wife grew up in Sayward. Thanks for watching.

Yes I remember him, I worked for them as well
Yeah Trevor and I worked together
Using high grade ore to pave the streets... So the streets really are paved with gold 😮

I worked with his son Terry at Highways
I worked for highways in the early 90's in Gold River.
The wife and I bought Henry's place after he passed. I worked 1 season for highways in Sayward. Trevor was foreman.
