Fun fact for everyone: Mardi Gras is French for Fat Tuesday, because it’s usually celebrated the day before Ash Wednesday (the first day of Lent for Catholics). Lent is a time of fasting and penance, so Mardi Gras is seen as a time to go “all out” before you have to give up something for Lent.
Great job documenting all of the Mardi Gras festivities Emily. I’m so happy that you got to participate in the Mardi Gras parade and toss out beads into the crowd.
Hey Emily! Glad you had fun and that you got to be a part of the parade. Universal is pretty popular lately with the news this past month. Can’t wait to go back next year. This year is another Disney World trip. Happy almost Mardi Gras to you. When it comes to your Vlogs, you always let the good times roll! 🥰🥰
This is amazing!! Im actually going to be in that parade in March!! So cool to see it from your POV first!!!! Where did you get your outfit? I’m OBSESSED!!
It looks like you had an amazing night. It would be a dream to come to Universal and do the Mardi Gras parade or to at least see it. It’s so much fun being in a parade. I used to perform in our local carnival parade circuit in the UK (Guy Fawkes Carnivals in Somerset) and there was such a buzz dancing on a float(cart) along the different parade routes in the circuit. Looking forward to seeing what other content you may put out. A sleepover in a Universal hotel could be good to see.
When I worked for Citywalk Guest Services in 2019, they had our whole team go on a float! It was the coolest experience as a Team Member and really just a top memory! It was a yearly tradition but then Covid happened and our department merged with park Guest Services which was tragic. 😩
EMILY!!! the guy who helped you put on the yellow robe before the parade, i went to high school with him!!!! how funny!!! his name is christian and he is so nice! what a small world!!
Omg I was there 2 years ago as a Christmas present during Mardi Gras and I collected all the beads and kept them in an old fanny pack that I still have!!!
I need to know, Emily. Are you a thrill seeker? Do you like the big rides at Universal? I am a thrill seeker but due to a spinal injury I can no longer ride the big rides. I love that you got to ride on a float for Mardi Gras, it looks like you had such a fun time. ♥️💜
I just want to let you know that you are one of the cutest and sweetest creators on here. You are doing an amazing job and I just know your channel is going to keep growing. I can't wait to see your success! Keep up the great work!!
Whatever you do, do not try any of the desserts over at the tribute store absolutely disgusting and I was very disappointed that you basically pick out what you want in the chiller case thinking you’re getting something fresh well now they just give you a piece of paper and you have to go purchase it and they literally yank it off the shelf which tells me all I need to know about how fresh or how good the food is because it’s probably been sitting on the shelf for a few days. I couldn’t believe it being a baker that I am. I would never leave things like that on the shelf they would always be inside the chiller and they wouldn’t be good for more than a day or two and then they would get tossed out the Macarons were Dry as can be. There was no chewing us in the middle, and we moisture in it at all it was just dry and crumbly, and they were all completely tasteless. Like I couldn’t even tell the difference between any three of them and the s’mores was OK. Still not worth the money and I forgot the other item I got they were all just really like forgetful because none of them were good but it just tasted like a fake dipped chocolate. It was terrible. All of it was terrible and it was extremely disappointing especially at $3.75 for each macaron. Absolutely ridiculous. I do not recommend anything that gets pulled off the shelf like that tells me all I need to know about their baked goods.

Great video emily
thank you!!
I wanna know who caused the demonstration to need to be put in place. Because someone definitely took a kids eye out leading to it having to created.
That tie dye shirt with the skeleton in the top hat looks like Mardi Gras and Horror Nights combined.
SO TRUE HAHA
@@EmilyEnchanted but I still prefer Horror Nights over Mardi Gras because I love all that creepy and scary stuff.
I'll be making a homemade king cake today
OMG that sounds so good!!! 🎉
not being a fan of Emily is a crime
So true!! I can’t imagine anyone disliking Emily’s videos.
you know what the beads mean, right? lol
clearly not hahaha
