same bro. I downloaded this to watch for my flight to japan. I was bawling by the first episode. The dude next to me was wondering why tf i was crying to a robot lol
First episode did such a good job at showing the connection robots can have with humans, but at the same time can it really be a connection if its artificial feelings?
For me, the part that hits the hardest is when he says, "I want to learn piano because I don't want to go back and fight in the war or something like that", it's a phrase that says a lot about soldiers who returned traumatized by the war and just want to escape from it, I felt this a lot in this sentence and this really defines all the other robots, they are people who killed many brothers and they just wanted to escape this trauma through art sport, nature conservation, looking after children and in the case of Gesich trying to forget the traumas beyond the war.
The arc that best summarizes Pluto's entire work is impressive as North 2 already defined the entire tone and message in the first episode. How sad this story is.
Its incredible how much emotion the piano is able to capture in just a few notes, this show completely took me by suprise with this episode, it is so human and beautiful
Such an amazing hook for the first episode of the series. It immediately lets you empathize with these robots that are getting killed, and the emotions of the people who held said robots close to their hearts. North #2 made such an impact on this crotchety old man’s life, and gave him reason to love living again. And the series is just as good as its pilot episode! I cannot recommend this show enough. If you haven’t watched it already, then, what are you waiting for!?!? *GET OUT THERE AND START BINGING!!!*
After watching this first episode I went back and watched the original version of the Astro Boy episode and was absolutely amazed how much they managed to stretch out of this one robot who appears for a whole few minutes at best, this was a truly amazing watch from start to finish.
@@JankyHB The weirdest part, I watched the 2003 show a couple years back, and the arc they adapted for Pluto was the arc where I fell off with. Then I watch this and binged it in one sitting.
Stop the cap, recognizing its a very good one from the first épisode is OK, but stop the cap Can you say a movie is your favorite after 20 minutes watching it ?
How do you mean? This is purely the piano version imagined by the creators in it's entirety. The original has multiple instruments implemented into the official piece as an ensemble, so it will sound very different from just the piano version by itself. If that makes sense.
When Paul Duncan said "Please come back, it's time for our piano lessons" after the robot was killed in the storm just tore me up
Randomly threw this show on one night and this episode hit me hard.... "I hear you my boy, you're singing our song with such emotion 😥"

Looks like we're all the same after all..

that episode is very good. could be watched by its own.
"Why would you try to drag my nightmare out into the light of day?"
"Your dream is not a nightmare, sir. You deserve to know that."

É exatamente isso tudo que você falou que torna essa obra tão especial, bela observação.
“You are right. That is why I’d like to learn to play the piano. I do not want to belong to the battlefield.”
@@connord-class7684 That's right, this phrase is very strong.
@@JorfreiM obrigado, é um ponto que o Urasawa leva até o fim.

0:43 that part is just perfect
For real, it's my favourite part!!
It hits the soul
Idk why the Spotify version doesn’t have that :/
And it's the easiest to play. Love it
I was afraid sir Duncan was going to pass away on the keys, I think that would’ve been a more merciful ending than what actually occurred.

Every time I hear it, it brings me to tears.
This episode hit hard, the empathy is real

I'm not crying, you're crying
😂😭
No.........my friend..........
We are crying.................😢
Sentí la emoción que siento con las películas de Ghibli y similares, la historia de North N°2 me dejó llorando dos días 🥺
I've only watched the first episode and it already became my favorite anime/manga-
Stop the cap, recognizing its a very good one from the first épisode is OK, but stop the cap

@@leynho6946yes, if the first 20 minutes instantly got me hooked then it definitely gonna be a good film unless they mess up the ending xD
absolutely same, became my favorite from episode 1
0:56 until 1:15 is crazy
Best part of the song, wish it was more of that
The transition from sorrow to cherished memories.
So beautiful and full of sadness 😢

Someone know the song when North n2 is dead? (The flute song) when Paul says : come back home
I would like to ask, this is slightly different from the official version. Were there any changes made specifically for the first episode?

Where can I listen to just the piano version?
