im praying for dude to improve his handle. His decision making can get sloppy too. His burst with the ball isn’t the same without it because his handle is screwed up. Needs to get to the rim more too
The problem is people want him to be the pg/kd type self creator i think he needs to play like Jabari did. Brandon could get to the rim and was a good playmaker for bama. ace is best suited as a secondary offball scorer
He's more explosive of a scorer than Jabari. Jabari was always gonna be a role player, and not a team's top 1/2 scorer. Bailey can, and likely will if he cleans up his handle and decision making which come with in-game reps.
@@ifheavenwashumanI agree but he should play like Jabari did and simplify his game and let it come to him. I see nuggets mpj at best (assuming he leaves and gets unleashed one day)
Well he just had by far his best game of the year offensively and arguably his worst defensive game of the year (he’s played amazing defense to start he year tho)
Jabari can score at all three levels. But he needs to develop more ways to get to the rim besides just attacking straight at it. His dbag needs to get a little deeper and he will learn more counters as time goes on. He can make those tuff shots he’s good from mid range hes good from three. He can make one move and pull up off the jab. He has great tools. But he needs to learn to be effective for when his shot isn’t falling. I’ve watched every Rutgers game this season and Harper is our best player by far. Today vs Texas A&M Ace stepped up huge this was his best game yet he played a complete game. If he can build off this with the attacking the paint going after those rebounds and hopefully leveling up his handles as well as learning to become a better playmaker then we cookin something. Right now Flagg and Harper clear. I’d probably take Demin over him atp as well. Ace needs to affect the game in more ways then just scoring
Watching Ace, I feel like there wasn’t enough competition in his earlier years. I think the stickier players coming into this league come out of prep schools like Monteverde, Sunrise, or Don Bosco. More competitive schools with better resources (coaching staff, facilities, nutritionist, etc.). A guy who took a similar route to Ace, Isaiah Evans, is on record saying that he choose Duke to be challenged and him slowly grabbing more minutes as the season has gone one shows me that Scheyer and his team are working him into competitive shape. I’m not saying Ace is destined to fail because he didn’t go to private school or a blue blood, but he’s missing a lot of the polish some of his peers have. My assessment you’ll probably impact winning down the line scoring 15 for a top 50 school than 30+ for your local team. I also think this extends to good organizations that will get the most out of you. I would hate to see him end up in Detroit or Charlotte. Maybe overly harsh and completely unfounded idk
Yeah his development path is weak Georgia competition he got away with settling for tough jumpers on players 4 inches shorter then him if he played on a prep school level or even a better aau circuit instead of independent he could have seen his flaws way clearer to prepare for college
Ace Bailey is much more aggressive, plays with a lot more energy than Jabari Smith..also although his ball handling will get better, he is still one of the best shot creators and shot makers in this draft..Jabari is a bit soft and does not play with the same intensity or heart as Ace does and that will be the reason ace becomes a star💯cooper has a lot to work on as well and is not a sure thing
I think Ingram is far superior prospect(borderline generation)and ace may never be as good as a playmaker or get to Ingrams rim frequency .But lengthy shotcreators who can carry to a low-mid seed playoff team as the focal point or good #2 or 3
@@scottwickett1273 he has all the tools to be a superstar at the next level, that’s what scouts look at💯its not about production as much as most people think..it’s about overall talent and if it projects well at the next level, where they will spread the floor and allow him to score and create💯his ball handling and skill level is way higher than Jabari smith as a freeman..I don’t have no concerns about this young man’s game..he just not picking and you can do that with every prospect even Cooper who I think is not a sure #1 pick..it’s a lot more even than most people think
Watch him closely. He’s not just a static three-pointer. He is starting to drive by his man, and to his left. He gets steals which is a big do. I’m guessing he’s going first, as Cooper won’t be an offensive shooting force.
He doesn't have the marketable "look" to appeal to a wide audience to be a superstar player at the next level. Ppl think it doesn't matter but the nba is a business before it's a professional sport.
He's been advertised as more of a PG/Tatum type but from this it seems like he's closer to an Michael Porter Jr kind of player
im praying for dude to improve his handle. His decision making can get sloppy too. His burst with the ball isn’t the same without it because his handle is screwed up. Needs to get to the rim more too
His shot making and footwork is really impressive, him improving his handle will decide whether he’s Jabari Smith or KD at the next level
The problem is people want him to be the pg/kd type self creator i think he needs to play like Jabari did. Brandon could get to the rim and was a good playmaker for bama. ace is best suited as a secondary offball scorer
As I’m watching I see you’re making the exact same analysis 😂

Definitely passes the name test
So did Scoot Henderson

Reminds me of GG jackson on SC
Let him come to my Raptors and Masai will do what he’s known for doing.
Khris Middleton or Allan Houston comparison maybe future all-star.
This is the second time ive seen the Houston comp. I also see a bit of Rashard Lewis.

I’m surprised he’s not in your top 5. I get having Flagg, Harper, and Egor over him, but who are the other prospects you have ahead of him?
@@obi3924 flagg, harper, jakucionis, traore, maluach and knueppel so he’s 7 for me

Not top 5 ceiling? U kidding me? ACE definitely has the highest ceiling in the draft class.
