The side story was pretty good. Overlord's main timeline: Ainz got the "bad ending". Still attached to his past and trapped in a position of an absolute ruler. While on alternate timeline/Evileye's side story: Ainz got the "good ending". He managed to move on from his past friends and made new ones in the New World. Able to freely explore the continent.
Well loving the series and your effort. Keep going and much appreciated. Might not be much to you making some vids but even your collection is valuable enough to make a positive and lasting impact in one's life. In this case, I am that one. Thank you again, stay well.
My thought on how it all ends is that Ainz travels with nazarick to other worlds on the tree and continues the search for players, and 500 years later Touch me would appear in the new world looking for nazarick and hearing about the Evil stuff they did.
I like this. And then Lord Touch Me would revolt against ainz and Nazarick or something. So Ainz would have to fight an old dear friend in an all out battle.
Another very interesting and informative video. When you start talking about how the series will be ending soon it is rather bittersweet. You look at the map as it expands, along with all the different countries, races and factions, it really does lend to there being so much more to this world. I have high hopes Kugane Maruyama will decide to come back to it or perhaps write some spin off stories of the world. It really would be a shame for it to all end and nothing else to ever come of one of the best stories and worlds created to date. On another note Baccano! is also one of my favorites. When I finished it I couldn't believe that was it and wanted more. After some heavy researching on any content relevant to the series I discovered another series, Durarara!!. I had read the same author made that one and it tied in to make it to the Baccano! universe. Sure enough it is part of the same universe and dang good too. If you have not seen Durarara!! and loved Baccano! I highly recommend taking the time to watch Durarara!! and slip back into that universe / writing style once again.

I have a little doubt about the World Items, all the W.I. in the New World were brought by the players, so what would happen with those one-use-only W.I.? They would usually respawn in Yggdrasil but not being there they would respawn in the N.W. or be lost forever?

I wonder if Ouroborous was used to create the summoning situation that causes the players to get summoned? On the world tournament, it would have to be a championship of champions. Each city state would have to send their 2 strongest, and they fight in a tournament arc until only 1 remains.
The real question is, what will happen if saturo (aka) ainz dies in his equipment in the real world, is he going to die as well in the new world? Like SAO If they die in the real world definitely their character will die as well.

Although we could still see bits of Ainz's original traits and personality in Satoru. It was also super fun to see him interact with Keno (Evileye).

Only questions I have are what would Ainz guildmates think if they saw what there guild had turned into and if any of them would revolt in an attempt to stop everything. Also what's on the 8th floor. If we don't get an explanation I'm gonna be sad. That thing has been built up as a huge mystery and I just hope we get some pay off

i do belive that the most powerfull world item is "world savior" a world item with the apearence of a stick that gets progressively stronger, i think ainz mentioned that if the power of such a wolrd item were left to grow it could defeat the whole of nazarick comobined with the 41 still present
The first question was really interesting but I think the answer would be no one. I don't think any of the other npcs (aside for the few good oriented ones) care enough about mortal beings outside nazarick. They would also lose access to the undead that police this nation and the mind reading that allows fair trial (I think shalltear can also use something similar but she's too evil to care).
These are good points, I would be very interested to see how the kingdom may splinter as Ains’ influence disappeared. I feel that many of the NPC’s may team up based on the relationships of their creators, like Shaltear and the twins teaming up since their creators were siblings. All fun theories to think about while we wait for the movie :)
From watching the anime, I've always had the feeling that Ainz still feels that he's in a game world (to some degree). But from what we can see this is a real world. I'd like to see Ainz come to terms with this, realizing all of the horrors he's unleashed onto, and done to, so many people.

When he slaughtered the re estize army he comments he doesn’t feel anything bc the world is making him more and more undead like in the game. The first season we see his human emotions get toned down by a green light, that’s the world turning him more into undead rather than a human mind

Anyone else feel that the elf kingdom arc is a little bland based off the LN? Like it's almost entirely focused on Ainz Mare and Aura from what I remember. And he has no interaction with the kingdom before going there, so I guess it's a little like the dwarf kingdom arc. The main point seems to be to set up a conflict with the Theocracy

Hey man, I like your content so far but I cannot stress enough that you really need to just read the Keno spin-off (and not a summary). For example you already got a small detail wrong about wild magic in the video; keno actually uses wildmagic through her talent and is even maintaining it constantly. I assure you that there will NOT be a "official" translation of the book, so you'll have to look at the fan translation. If you worry about the quality of the fan translation, then this should be a non-issue as the fan translations of overlord are highly regarded for its quality and accuracy. Most people in the overlord subreddit (me included) would even say it's better than the official translations. The overlord twitter also announced a new side-story novel about the ghostship of katze plains, exclusive for people who attend the theaters in Japan. This side story won't ever get an "official" translation either, so that's even more content you're missing out on. I can't stress this enough, but please don't dismiss the fan translations like.something unimportant or "immoral", as they're the only way to properly enjoy a lot of important overlord content. ps: watch the great evil tree overlord audio drama on youtube, there's juicy overlord lore in there. It was also fan translated with no "official" english release.
One quibble as to the potential ending in volume 18. We are only privy to a peninsula of the new world, comparable to europe. The other 90% of the new world has not been addressed other than snippets or vague mentions.

I tink that lord ainz have the power to control wild magic because lord have a world item that sed to the same power as wild magic sed by the dragonlord and more stronger then wild magic with mastering the red orb hidden power or potential
I can speculate 2 possible ending for overlord that is in character for Maruyama. Good Ending: Ainz finally accepts his role as the supreme overlord of Nazarik and past an untold number of years he's finally killed all players and conquered the world. Bad Ending: Albedo betrayed Nazarik. Ainz, all furious and hurt, then realizes the fault ultimately lies with him for changing her personality in the first place. So he tasks PA and Demiurge to protect Nazarik and leaves out on a lonesome adventure. PA now rules SK in Ainz's avatar awaiting his father's return throughout the ages to come.
