I just realised that's why Shanks crew are deadbeat dads - it's cause Shanks dad was the original deadbeat and when Shanks defeats him he'll be fighting on behalf of all the children left behind in One Piece
Well in theory it was Roger that stole Shanks from God Valley. And considering the theories that Bonney's father is a Figarland and was disarded because she was female. This means that Garling has probably been trying to get a heir since God Valley.
@@imdageeta I feel Sabo might face off whoever is taking Garling's place as head of the holy knights. I'm waiting to see if the Shanks Evil Twin theory pan out, lol.
Bruh for obvious reasons, if Garling was actually the one Whitebeard referring to by saying seeing Shanks reminded him of someone doing a number of scars on him, and now on top of that getting buffed by Imu himself, it is no exaggeration to say that he is only below Imu as of now. That is until Luffy gets another training session with Shanks and co or something to even stand a chance against them.
@@rs3094 makes sense but then zoro is gonna also have to learn to cut warcury if luffy is going for imu while shanks and dragon take garling or something . thats tuff
@slickricky769 all he really needs is a damage check with warcury doesnt have to actually have a whole fight . if he hits him pretty hard by then someone will say keep going they'll take care of him as usual.
As a rebuttal to Momonosuke and Oden, keep in mind that Momonosuke was a child and while Oden was an overpowered Child, Momonosuke still has extreme durability, especially after being aged. As for Big mom and Katakuri, I think it's Big mom's Genetic/unknown mutation that made her as powerful as she is. This mutation most likely does not pass down to children, or only a certain portion of it.
With Momo and Oden, Oden was allowed to fight things and get strong Momo was kept in a lab unable to train. Rayleigh said you need to fight stronger enemies to get stronger yourself.
Not to add that Momo showcased the voice of all things as well as observation haki at his young age. His not a monster like Oden, but he's still a prodigy in my book
Also Katakuri is heavily underrated because he technically lost to Luffy despite being massively stronger. He has a whole lot of parallels with yamato for instance
Still on the idea that Peter could be a traitor and I think his nervousness at the end of the last chapter adds to it! Saturn was a traitor by accident lol but I think that's mostly him being a failure
Could just be the first time he's been around when it happened, the last #1 Elder could have been zapped when Jupiter walked into the room confidently like Garling just did. Need to see if their numbers shift because Jupiter seems like he is way too young and could be by far the strongest rising the ranks through the Holy Knights quickly.
@@TheRockerX not saying it's for sure by any means. Oda has proven over and over that predicting him is very difficult. It's more that I can see Ju-Peter being a traitor and that I think it would be interesting if Oda went that route, not that I believe it to be fact.
Bro, he is the God of agriculture. Look at the CD’s complaining about the food shortage. Maybe he’s nervous because he thinks he’s next on Imu’s hit list. Lol
What about Buggy vs Garling? Buggy has almost Luffy tier plot armor and a great hidden potential. Also he's the best counter for swordmen. Garling ideals are quite literally the opposite of Shanks. If Shanks were to be killed by his father, the only one related to him that can break the power scale and beat Garling, it is Buggy D. Clown.
Buggy's bara bara immunity vs Garling's regen. Maybe Buggy was also from God Valley but son of a slave. Adding some thematic significance for him to avenge his parents.
Morj, your videos made me a die hard fan years ago. In the time since I’ve watched a ton of OPtubers, and you are still undoubtedly the most entreating still. Please keep making videos 🙏🏽
Dragon seems like the most likely opponent for Garling. The first mention of the God’s Knights as a serious threat (as opposed to simply a judiciary body) was as opponents for the revolutionary army. Plus, it makes sense for the leader of the rebellion against the World Government to fight that government’s strongest soldier. Dragon might only get one fight, it should be against the most exciting opponent possible.
I’ve said the same, when that chapter came out. The God’s Knights are the Revs’ opponents, not the straw hats. But with Garling being upgraded to elder and we have precedence of straw hats actually engaging in combat with Gorosei, Garling may be not the Revs opponent but Strawhats now.
I think a few things that have been happening in the story lately were not actually planned, but rewritten with careful consideration to not retcon and even appear consistent with older story elements. In this case, I think whitebeard was originally written to be talking about Roger, but as Garling was conceptualized and eventually given a greater role, Oda saw that older moment and made sure it was consistent to what he was changing. This is mostly headcanon, but I really think that Jupiter’s dune worm fruit was not the original idea for his zoan. I know Dune is old, but the timing of its appearance with dune part two is just too much of a coincidence to have been the original plan. Jupiter is clearly the youngest looking gorosei so I believe he has some significant part to play (still does) and therefore had one the most interesting zoan transformation. However, I think either an editor suggested or Oda decided to make garling ascend to gorosei, and therefore needed to have the most interesting form. Therefore, he redesigned Jupiter’s transformation and was inspired by the Shai-Hulud, while his original transformation went to Garling. I have 0 evidence for any of this, but I think Oda changes more aspects of the story in real time than people recognize and this definitely feels like something that could have happened
He literally created the supernovas a few weeks before they were revealed (at least a bunch of them we don’t how many but the group was invented) so we know Oda is not just a master at foreshadowing, but at improvising as well so he’s definitely able to connect new things to previous moments and it looks like foreshadowing but it might not be
Oda has big picture items mapped out since the beginning. He fills in the details along the way for the most part. The WB scar line, Jupiter's transformation, and possibly even Garling as a character are more details rather than big picture. Oda improvises at the last minute and we get Shai-Hulud in One Piece. That's fucking awesome!
I don't agree with that because he planed the end game before starting to the one piece 17 - 22 years he was planning surely he changed many things like adding supernovas but few of them were already planned such bonney, law and kid but others were added and called supernovas same goes with warlords and yonkos some of them were already planned but not considering them as warlord such as mihawk, crocodile, shanks, whiterbeard, black beard, kaido, may be doflamingo as well etc but i think he didn't planned about big mom, gecko moria, etc Now comes the real thing he definitely planned about garling because he symbolizes moon, imu being earth, luffy being sun and BB being black hole in the endgame Shanks clearly mentioned he bring sake from his hometown east blue where god valley incident happened while talking WB and it's very obvious that he reminded him of garling because He had Ace in his crew and there is no way ace don't reminds him of Roger but shanks did So, it was clearly done by oda at that time every single conversation Shanks and WB had made sense Note : somethings were already planned but they didn't change the main plot that going affect the final plot warlord system, supernovas, enel all of them were introduced make story interesting before final saga but now you see not every warlord and supernovas got the main focus only the charaters who were planned already does got the spot light trio(law, kid and luffy) was already planned so does bonnie because of kuma relation one more thing I think crocodile, mihawk were already planned not sure about doffy all these highlighted characters were planned but what they did was added a new title for them
I believe Garlings matchup will be Dragon. Dragon is already a character whos been long speculated to be yonko level or beyond. This gives him a worthy opponent to fight while reserving Imu for Luffy. But also this chapter which highlighted Garling also highlighted Dragon at the very end. Their dialogue even paralleled each other with both of them talking about the unprecedented chaos and needing to secure their goals of "peace". Dragon himself was the one who who introduced the readers to the Holy Knights being a primary threat for the Revolutionary army. And finally, the framing of Sabo rising up as the new face of the Revolutionary Army parallels the idea of a new commander leading the Holy Knights. I don't know if theyll be matched up too, but it seems Dragon and Garling are both being protrayed as figures more and more detached from their groups in power. To me, it just all clicks really well as the final piece for Dragon being able to contribute to the story in some way and a foe that feels special enough for him finally.
Garling's promotion may answer one of the questions the fans have been asking for years: just what is the point or of what use are the celestial dragons in the grand scheme of things? From the beginning they have been shown to be nothing more than amoral, hedonistic megalomaniacs with a literal god complex that are just there to burn money and make people's life miserable, with the five elders being the only exemption. However throughout the series and specially in more recent chapters we have been presented with Celestial Dragons that are not only mosters in the moral sense but monsters in terms of strength and wisdom: the five elders, Doflamingo, Garling and possibly Shanks, Shanks of course being the only moral one in the list if it is confirmed that he is one which seems to be the case. I don't know but there seems to be something about them that in time they produce individuals with great power, maybe there's something in the air in the holy land or there's something effective about the possible inbreeding that's going on up there after all. In any case this may point at the possibility that their true purpose is to produce said exceptional members for Imu to pick (like fruits) and turn them into whatever they are for him/her to control and by extension use them to control the world in his/her behalf, not to mention that they become living wmd's capable of great destruction through whatever type of power Imu seems to grant them.
Garling is 100% going up against Usopp. He's so confident in his abilities, and it'll only get worse now that he's a gorosei. By the time of the final battle, Usopp should be confident enough in himself that he'll just headshot Garling from Laughtale
I remember a note on Mihawks vivre card, that he is waiting for a stronger opponent than Shanks... // Shanks & MIhawk vs. Garling would be fire. The rivalry between shanks and mihawk would mirror Goku & Vegeta fighting a big villain like Boo ^^
That with 99% would mean that mihawk weaker than Garling (who is most likely swordman) and then whole Mihawk character (and all this 💩 about zoro's dream) would be useless. So no. Garling looks like another zoro's victim. Maybe even last victim before his last fight against mihawk. Or zoro would fight against other knight with sword and shanks would defeat his father.
Garling isn’t random. He’s just not prominently mentioned. But there was a reason we got the God Valley incident through the eyes of Iva, Ginny, & Kuma
The dude who was nearly identical to Shanks, one of the strongest characters in the series and is probably the dude's son, and is now a member of one of the strongest groups, is presumed to be strong? Crazy

Sabo stands no chance against Akainu lol Akainu would literally one shot Sabo with ease !! Not to mention Akainu has a awakening too
@@g.g7427 I am exactly going to come up with that bs because blue fire was not specifically brought up. I am also of the belief that Sabo could potentially be an advanced CoC user. Not to mention the fire fruit has an awakening too. Probably should grow up and realize this is a possibility instead of attacking me in the comments.
That's exactly why it should be Sabo who defeats him, it would be the revenge of the mera mera, overcoming your naturally superior enemy. Plus Sabo deserves the chance to fight for his brother that he missed in Marineford @@g.g7427
Maybe sabo vs akainu happens at some point, but akainu would be defeated by luffy, there is no other way. Also, f sabo, useless uninteresting character with lame design. Wth is this hat i cant
Citing (Prime)Garling's strength as noteworthy due to being the favorite to win the God's Valley Competition feels a little off, considering that it was centered around killing defenseless slaves with no hope of fighting back. We don't know the full context and rules on whether the favorites to win the contest were allowed to attack one another or otherwise. I don't think this character should be getting gassed up for killing malnourished men, women, and children who are either shackled while they run or are outright helpless and just trying to survive. Never was a fan of this character from the start due to how atrociously callous he appears, but as a villain that's designed to be hatable, Oda's done a solid job of making him unlikable from the get-go. He's a good representation of how toxic the Celestial Dragon mindset is towards the top of their society's hierarchy. On top of that, we have absolutely no idea how strong the Holy Knights are. They've only been brought up since 1054, no other notable top tier besides Whitebeard has even brought them up even vaguely, and it's possible that the reference he made about Shanks's face making his scars ache could have been a retcon that was originally meant to relate to Roger, not Garling. Something that's brought up in the discussion, but one that should be taken with a grain of salt. That's fine, this series has been going on for decades, and Oda likely wants to make sure that this new information doesn't contradict what he's already set. But because of this late-game addition, no one from Kaido, Big Mom, Shanks, or anyone else noteworthy that we, as the audience, are more familiar with have shown any sense of respect or fear of them. Only Dragon seems to take the threat they pose seriously, but this in itself is a problem because while we can infer the leader of the Revolutionary Army is strong, he's also done nothing and we're still shaky on their army's strength due to Oda adding caveats that excuse the Marines, the Admirals(Fujitora/Ryokugyu) specifically, from the very few clashes we've seen. Only other character who references the Holy Knights is Akainu, who dismisses them as handling their own problems within their jurisdiction rather then any sense of genuine threat. No one besides the RAs seem to care that they exist and the only thing they're being summoned to do in the narrative so far is to take care of rebelling nations that are, for all intents and purposes, fodder. Instead of facing anyone remotely notable or strong that we, as the audience, have more stake in. The Holy Knights don't even actively make moves or handle security when their people are under attack. Where were they when Fisher Tiger was raising hell in the Holy Land? Where were they when the RAs attacked? Or when Kuma was going on a rampage and Akainu was summoned to handle a direct assault on their home turf? They relied on the Marines when it's convenient, but Garling shows up after the fact to execute one of his fellow Celestial Dragons instead and sound like a inverse and evil -Kakashi with the first line he dropped instead of doing his job lol. Is it possible Garling is the new, strongest member of the Five Elders? Maybe, but I'd like to see what Oda establishes of his history and accomplishments beyond vague implications that none of the cast seem to respect. For now, it seems he's just leeching off the portrayal of the other Five Elders and especially Shanks to carry his clout. I understand the implications and respect them, but it's just odd to see this Garling Figarland hype when he's done absolutely nothing to warrant it besides carry a title that we have no idea of the context around. It's possible he was the "Champion" of God's Valley because he was set to win the competition was still seen as the winner of the overall hunting bit instead of distinguishing himself by clashing with some of the strongest. Let's say he did injure Whitebeard in the process of all this, since he is heavily implied to have fought in the front lines like you mentioned, but if Roger wasn't even in his prime or strongest during this incident, then I highly doubt Newgate had reached his peak either when we aren't sure if he's even established his fleet or crew by that point in the narrative. I do agree that that Garling is likely the much stronger, likely candidate in terms of connection to Whitebeard's line about his scars, but it's definitely a newer shift or change in the story, in my opinion --- rather than a long-term planned bit.
Dude exactly this video has so many unproven theories taken as fact lol. Where was it stated that becoming a Gorosei puts you back in your prime? Also, Garling and the Holy Knights have had little to no portrayal in the story. We can't just label him one of the strongest with no feats to back it up. Like you said, he could be strong but lets wait to see a bit more before we crown him. I do think Dragon fighting him makes the most sense based on what we've seen from them recently.
Crazy to think Figarland the holy knights rogers crew garp and persumably sengogku all in their prime collectively were there at the god valley incident to take down xeb.
Dragon could fight Akainu since they most likely have history, but at this point I think Koby is most likely. You did suggest that Dragon fights Warcury, but now that he's no longer the "Topman", Dragon might fight Garling, seeing as he represents the worst of the CDs ideology. Shanks could fight his evil brother Banks, but that seems too on the nose. That guy could be Sabo's opponent, as there is a certain thematic similarity: Doflamingo and Corazon had the same upbringing yet became completely different people, Shanks and Banks had different upbringings with probably different outcomes (maybe Banks gets redeemed who knows), and Sabo's whole thing is growing up as a noble but choosing a better path, with a little contrast againdt Stelly who was not born a noble but found his way to their grimy world anyways by his nature. Sabo could take Banks as the second in command of the revos while Dragon takes Garling, Shanks still dies to Blackbeard.
As we know guys ODA took Hindu god hanuman as inspiration for luffy, i want to put forward something now. As we know that joyboy haki was strong enough to effect imu and return all the gorosei to their base form and send back to mariejois. A incident occurred with hanuman once where he got into a tricky situation in which he couldn’t defeat a villain (ASURA) until he figured out that there were five lamps hanging in the air and all of them needs to be extinguished at once. So he took on five faced form and blew them out at once and killed the asura. So now after knowing this we can assume that something similar needs to be done with gorosei and imu to defeat them. So we need to know what luffys new power will be or who comes to his aid.
@@tyui60 I'm half serious about it... Idk, I feel like Buggy is this complete wild card and somehow he has been everywhere but we don't know anything about him.
Great video as always Morj. The only thing that I would change is that I don't think that Shanks is going to fight against Garling. In fact, I don't see Shanks being in the Final War (though perhaps the Red-Hair Pirates may run into Garling or the God's Knights). The more I think about it, the more I think Dragon will face Garling. I theorize that there is history between both Dragon and Garling related to God Valley, and parallels since both shared the exact same titles as leaders (Supreme Commander). This would become even more significant if Garling turns out to either be CD who kidnapped and enslaved Ginny, and is Bonney's father. or at least her grandfather. So Dragon vs Garling would be more personal. On the other hand, Warcury would be more symbolic, since Warcury is meant to symbolize "Justice" while Dragon fights for true justice, freedom, and peace, and I suspect that Warcury is the strongest of the Gorosei. However, I am starting to think that Garp will be the one to fight Warcury, since Garp, as a Marine, prizes himself on "Justice", but always had to swallow his true beliefs of justice at the hands of the CDs and the WG. Plus, Warcury's most notable trait is his tough skin, and there has been an emphasis placed on how Garp "The Fist" trained his punches by punching extremely tough exteriors. Garling, on the other hand, seems to place an emphasis on oppression and maintaining the status quo, while Dragon represents freedom and revolution, the exact opposites. Honestly, part of me hopes that Dragon fights against both of them, and defeats both before losing to Imu (though not without putting up a good fight), but I suspect the lead up will be Sanji vs Mars; Zoro vs. Nasujuro; Garp vs Warcury; Dragon vs Garling; Dragon vs Imu; Luffy vs Imu. I also would like to hear your theory on what demon Garling may be?
I do think there's another possibility for that scar line. While now I do agree 100% he was referring to Garling, I always interpreted it as whitebeard saying that seeing shanks face, made his scar ache, meaning when he saw the scar on shanks face that blackbeard gave him, it made the emotional scars of his sons betrayal hurt
Imagine Shanks fighting his father, losing and then Luffy showing up, putting his straw hat on Shanks' head, saying nothing then starting to beat the absolute s out of Garling 😮
The way you’ve built up Garling makes me excited for his potential and, if Dragon ends up being the one to face off against him, it will redeem him in my eyes somewhat
That's only true for the characters that the main character fight in a serious duel/fight. In eggehead it wasn't the case, it was more of an escape plan and battles here and there. Plus I'm sorry but I didn't saw any capacity or power above or even equal to Kaido, Big Mom or even Shanks for now, I mean Shanks was able to one shot Kidd man... Luffy probably won't fight any gorosei members as a GM opponent, he will more likely fight him, or a gorosei member will have the Blueno treatment to showcase Luffy's progression or new powers...

This confirms mihawk isn't the worlds greatest swordsman. He's the greatest swordsman the world knows of, nasjuro and garling arent world renowned names because of the world governments secretive nature.
I hope we get to see all displays of his strength throughout how long he's been alive though bro got a power buff on top of whatever power we already didn't see from him
Garling always had a cool design, so it'll be a ton of fun to see him be overwhelmingly powerful and fight a strong protagonist. Hoping for Dragon. There's a buttload of pending matchups in this saga...
I don't know Morj, we haven't seen enough of the other Gorosei to speculate this much, I agree that Garling can be power leveled because we got more info on him but none of the others have clear strength feats.
I think it depends on what we end up finding out about how the immortality works. Joyboys haki didn't actually hurt them as far as I could tell, it just made them revert to their human form and broke the summoning connection for 3 of them and sent them back to Mary Geoise. It didn't physically harm them. What if the only way to defeat them is to either trap them somehow or just stall them until Imu is defeated? They may not even be able to be trapped because they could be summoned out of the trap or they might possess other abilities like teleportation. If they are undefeatable the battle may be more of a battle royal or war type battle rather than 1v1. Also is Imu limited to 5? Could he give some power/abilities to the holy knights? We just dont know yet
Imu may even willingly wait for them to face the drawbacks of old age so that they become easier to manipulate. Them getting the chance to fight at full power again and be immortal and leave all their sufferings behind might be reason enough to be the lackey of someone for some... Like how the devil is rumored to tempt you by giving you what you desire most in return for your soul...
I put this idea for your consideration. IF Garling really is the strongest Gorosei by far, like, 1.5x or 2x times stronger; then I think this scenario conveys how difficult would be to slay such monster and how certain rules shall be broken during the dire times the final war presents: Zoro vs Nsujuro [ 1 vs 1 ] A duel with an Elder Planet. Zoro gets to "solo" a swordsman Gorosei who is considered a possible true world strongest sword master, indubitably setting him as a candidate himself. And Shanks & Mihawk vs Garling [ 2 vs 1] IF Garling is the epitome of celestial dragon's, then I belive a team effort against this truly leviathanic foe would be spectacular. This way we get a possible opeing for Blackbeard to kill a tired Shanks so Mihawk has to "finish the job". I think Mihawk and Zoro would end up as equal contenders for true WSSM. *** This probably is not going to happen, but I think it's wonderful to be able to run our imagination wild thinking about how the final war is going to happen. ¿What are your crazy ideas? :)
I'm happy they added Garling to the Elders. I did not care for the Elder transformations. They are powerful, sure, and they seem durable enough - but I did not put them on the level of say, an original Admiral. Luffy was clearly outclassing them all at the same time, they just had the crazy durability and regeneration - likely derived from Imu. I DO appreciate that they are Kaiju like in their forms though. Nosjuro had the best showing of skill outside of gimmicky abilities. But with Garling, he is a historically known combatant. He participated in God Valley, he is speculated to have fought and damaged Whitebeard, and he is Shank's blood. His demeanor is very serious and he seems like an incredibly dangerous individual. The fact that he has the Sengoku/Garp build is worrisome too. He is definitely the most dangerous man under Imu's command at the moment.
I'm a bit sad that the Gorosei members(aside from Garling) don't even feel like a threat anymore, for years I thought they would be some kind of endgame menaces but Joyboy, Imu and now even Garling easily overshadows them, maybe I had too high expectations.
I really don't like the power creep that's going on. One arc Luffy is weaker than an admiral next arc he's the strongest character. There's no middle ground. Personally I find it very boring when the main character one shots everything.

They were severely nerfed in egghead because of plot. Saturn could oneshot sanji but not kill chopper, nami and other weaker Strawhats. Makes no sense honestly its just plot Armor. Oda did give them strong haki tho
Did you not see the same fight at Egg Head that I saw? The 5 Gorosei were unstoppable monsters that The Strongest Straw Hats & Bonnie were barely able to hold off until Emet used Joyboy's Sealed Haki to send them flying through something that can only be used once. Oda please I am begging you with ever fiber of my being. Make garling a weasel or rat. a Kamaitachi in a yokai weasel that uses sickle like claws. Garling uses a sword its a good fit. Its perfect for the agenda PLEASE
Think it’s gonna be dragon. When they introduced the god knights it seemed like they’d be the revs match up (Samo aside, i think he gets akainu). But it seemed fitting for the revs to fight enemies more directly connected to the WG, as a corrupt gov/their military and rebellion forces are usually directly antagonistic toward each other. But with figarland now a part of the WG Dragon defeating him would be symbolic of the revs toppling the WG, knights, and by extension the celestial dragons.
all i gotta say is bro was at egghead and was known for being the most vile person with duels, now he's a gorosei which I'm I'm assuming is going to bestow the powers of immortality and whatever else on him, bros op.
This guy is basically the Miles Quaritch of One Piece. An old trigger happy colonel who is extremely ruthless and has no qualms about killing people whatsoever. And now becomes immortal just like QUaritch
The best part about Garling's introduction to me is he might be a wrench in the whole "blackboard will kill shanks" thing. That never made sense to me having a character we've hyped since the absolute beginning lose in his first real fight. Also, we Luffy would never close that loop in his story if Shanks dies before he becomes king. Garling or the potential mystery Shanks twin make for much better opponents for Blackbeard to showcase his growth without sacrificing Luffy's story.
Another thing to note that makes Whitebeard more likely to be referring to Garling than Roger is that Whitebeard says that guy instead of Roger directly. If he was referring to Roger, he would have most likely said his name since Shanks knows Roger. But Whitebeard may not even remember the man's name he met at God Valley, but just remembers his face

And if shanks has a twin then sabo vs shanks twin
1:22 Morj legit looked like Luffy's actor for a minute there
I think a few things that have been happening in the story lately were not actually planned, but rewritten with careful consideration to not retcon and even appear consistent with older story elements.
He literally created the supernovas a few weeks before they were revealed (at least a bunch of them we don’t how many but the group was invented) so we know Oda is not just a master at foreshadowing, but at improvising as well so he’s definitely able to connect new things to previous moments and it looks like foreshadowing but it might not be
i agree with you 100% on that
Oda has big picture items mapped out since the beginning. He fills in the details along the way for the most part. The WB scar line, Jupiter's transformation, and possibly even Garling as a character are more details rather than big picture. Oda improvises at the last minute and we get Shai-Hulud in One Piece. That's fucking awesome!
I don't agree with that because he planed the end game before starting to the one piece 17 - 22 years he was planning surely he changed many things like adding supernovas but few of them were already planned such bonney, law and kid but others were added and called supernovas same goes with warlords and yonkos some of them were already planned but not considering them as warlord such as mihawk, crocodile, shanks, whiterbeard, black beard, kaido, may be doflamingo as well etc but i think he didn't planned about big mom, gecko moria, etc
Now comes the real thing he definitely planned about garling because he symbolizes moon, imu being earth, luffy being sun and BB being black hole in the endgame
Shanks clearly mentioned he bring sake from his hometown east blue where god valley incident happened while talking WB and it's very obvious that he reminded him of garling because He had Ace in his crew and there is no way ace don't reminds him of Roger but shanks did So, it was clearly done by oda at that time every single conversation Shanks and WB had made sense
Note : somethings were already planned but they didn't change the main plot that going affect the final plot warlord system, supernovas, enel all of them were introduced make story interesting before final saga but now you see not every warlord and supernovas got the main focus only the charaters who were planned already does got the spot light trio(law, kid and luffy) was already planned so does bonnie because of kuma relation one more thing I think crocodile, mihawk were already planned not sure about doffy all these highlighted characters were planned but what they did was added a new title for them
No Whitebeard has no scars when he goes against Roger and has a bandage on his chest after the fight
Don't forget Rosinante, Mjosgard and Homing!
Garling is 100% going up against Usopp. He's so confident in his abilities, and it'll only get worse now that he's a gorosei. By the time of the final battle, Usopp should be confident enough in himself that he'll just headshot Garling from Laughtale
😂😂
Dragon would be the right opponent for Garling…. Considering he is the first one to talk about Holy Knights!!!
the shanks face reminding a scar doesn't make sense for that man being roger as Whitebeard literally lived with Roger's son every day
if there were 5 kaidos on egghead, i don't think straw hats are escaping alive

The battle between WB and Roger where Oden was present was not their only battle. Is heavily imply that they have fought multiple times.
Well one thing I do know
Shadow-man is now the leader of the God knights
maybe dragon will stop looking east and fight garling because of how he was the first to mention holy knights and how scared he was
Crazy to think Figarland the holy knights rogers crew garp and persumably sengogku all in their prime collectively were there at the god valley incident to take down xeb.
It would be cool if Ju Peter was older than the Gorosei despite looking the youngest
Alternate title: “why someone we never saw fight is stronger than a yonko”

Dragon vs garling

Against dragon or shanks why not but mihawk or pacifista common...
Pirate race thing sounds fun!

6:04 I wonder if Jupiter was made a Gorosei a very long time ago or recent hundred years, since he looks young compared to the others.
Garling is shanks opponent for sure ,
father vs son duel would be legendary
Where did my comment go? I was first🥲
Not even close
Just 1 min short. You were fourth or fifth
*OMG the THUMBNAIL* 🔥🔥🔥
I hope we get to see all displays of his strength throughout how long he's been alive though bro got a power buff on top of whatever power we already didn't see from him
I've been on the Shanks vs Garling train since we saw Garling for the 1st time. I really hope they fight each other during the final war!
The chapter made it pretty clear imo that Dragon will be the one that fights Garling.
Morj you say some words funny. Like strength and due/new. Where you from bro 😂
If Garling is Bonney's dad I think Dragon would also be a good candidate to be his opponent
Shanks and Mihawk vs Garling would be such a good fight
Duuuude I forgot wb said that. Good catch
Now this type of promo I can get behind!
IF Garling really is the strongest Gorosei by far, like, 1.5x or 2x times stronger; then I think this scenario conveys how difficult would be to slay such monster and how certain rules shall be broken during the dire times the final war presents:
Zoro vs Nsujuro [ 1 vs 1 ] A duel with an Elder Planet.
@@KeybladeKnight14 In One Piece time Dressrosa was like 3 months ago, in this 3-4 months Luffy went from arguably like a 3rd Yonko commander level like Cracker to a Yonko tier... One Piece is still amazing but for me the pre-timeskip arcs like Enies Lobby & Water 7 are still kings..
As Luffy is now he isn't strong enough, Joyboy's power is where he needs to be to win against Imu who was introduced as the secret boss of the Gorosei.
@@WaterKirby1994 I don't know man, Luffy literally made a pancake out of Saturn and threw him away like some toy, or look what happened to Marcus Mars, got knocked out by Frankys "strong right" attack, bonneys and Sanjis... imagine if these three attacks were thrown at Kaido.
At this point I hope I'm wrong and they still haven't shown their full potential but aside from maybe Nusjuro and Warcury the rest didn't seem that frightening
Oda please I am begging you with ever fiber of my being. Make garling a weasel or rat. a Kamaitachi in a yokai weasel that uses sickle like claws. Garling uses a sword its a good fit. Its perfect for the agenda PLEASE
This would also reinforce the events, where Shanks appeared to speak with the Gorosei so freely, if he were to be a Tenryuubito himself
Man those travel posters are so sick I wish they were available aside from the package! Jealous of you guys who are able to snag those 😵
You forgot the satanic summoning that Garling can teleport to any Gorosei within seconds regardless of range
But with figarland now a part of the WG Dragon defeating him would be symbolic of the revs toppling the WG, knights, and by extension the celestial dragons.
he’s gotta be the lurking legend
Even momonosuke is shown to have the capability as he aged up. Zoro mentions it and his durability was hinted at maky times
These guys are not the “final villains” the final villain is Blackbeard. They Gorosei and Imu are just stepping stones to the final battle.
Blackbeard and his crew of irrelevant bums are not final villain material
@@debater452 maybe not to you.
morj is a marketing beast
I just thought about it, but the Goresi and even Imu likely have some crazy looking hybrid forms for their zoans
all i gotta say is bro was at egghead and was known for being the most vile person with duels, now he's a gorosei which I'm I'm assuming is going to bestow the powers of immortality and whatever else on him, bros op.
Garling is the lurking legend
With the logic presented in this video, it makes it so none of this matters when Luffy finally gets his dad's greatest technique, the "..."
You unintentionally just made me realize Hiyori is an absolute bum given her father is Oden.
It’s probably gonna be Brook😤
Another thing to note that makes Whitebeard more likely to be referring to Garling than Roger is that Whitebeard says that guy instead of Roger directly. If he was referring to Roger, he would have most likely said his name since Shanks knows Roger. But Whitebeard may not even remember the man's name he met at God Valley, but just remembers his face
