Ok now this Max model i prefer, really has a sense of both consistency and interconnectiveness, like it looks like Max from the first game. Reason being was that model from MP2 looked nothing like Lakes model for Max, like when i look at him in MP2, that doesnt look like the dude i played as in the first game.
Just found out about this mod. It is looking great. I am playing Max Payne on Hard Boiled difficulty for the first time AND actually understanding the game as back in 2005 I did not know english :D
this makes sense. max payne 1 and 2 didn't have much time elapse so the models shouldn't have changed that much ( i mean i get it in max payne 2 game sam lake wasn't the one that was modeling because they could hire a actual model but still it just isn't the same without sam lake)

It might be marketed or sold as a "double pack" though. So at the main menu you might have to choose which game you want to play . If they did that then they might keep the original faces in both games. I've seen other game companies sell remasters or remakes in double pack, for instance Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2, or Silent Hill 2 and 3 HD remasters to name a couple.
And why Mona is not from First Game? Maybe I'll surprise you, but there was a model for Lisa Punchinello. Just dress her properly and she will become Mona Sax.
