Hi, I loved the video, as for the cracks, I find if I lightly dampen my project first the paper clay sticks better and does not seem to crack. Thanks, again
Absolutely incredible snowmen and mad with such love. I will definitely attempt to reproduce your project. Thank you ever so much for sharing this video tutorial. Your gift of sharing is wonderful.
Thank you so much for your kind comment! I really hope that you will try to make one! I've had other crafters share pics with me of their creations. It's amazing how different they look but all adorable.
I make large to small papier-mâché pumpkins or should I say jack-o-lanterns. The dampness helps the clay dry slower so the project tends to crack much less, for me the wetter the better, of course it could be because I live in Phoenix Az. ( you think )
I am just getting time to do this project, sure wish you had said what colors of paint you used. Great looking guy. Maybe I will use one of Michaels cheap plastic snowglobes for underneath him.
Hi again Patti, well I am in the middle of making the stand up snowman, I don’t think I made the legs strong enough, but I already have them covered, so I just have to keep going, I will try and take a picture, if he turns out. More challenging than the heads, but I love it! Thank you again Patti, I love your tutorial❤️❣️🌸🌻🎄
Hi Shelly! You can try and add a piece of a wooden skewer or a piece of metal wire to strengthen it. I'm so glad that you are not giving up! I know he will be adorable! Hugs!!!
How adorable! Just love these sweet little snowmen. It was actually good to see you learning as you went, and explaining the process that way. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Elizabeth! I hope you make a few! I have mine displayed all year in my craft room and now throughout the house with the other Christmas decorations. So worth the work to make them! Have a Merry Christmas! Hugs, Patti
I saw this snowman in a catalog some years ago and never ordered it. I was just thinking about how I could make that snowman I had seen some years ago and I have been scouring the Internet looking for a similar snowman. And there you were with a tutorial on the EXACT snowman I was looking for...THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH for sharing! I love your snowman and only hope mine will turn out and lovely. God bless!
I am sure that your snowman will look amazing. I have seen others that people have shared with me on Facebook and they all look awesome. Have fun! Thank you for commenting and watching! God bless you Lisa!
I love these guys! And I think your tutorial is fantastic. Especially the mistakes because if something similar happens when I'm making it, I'll know how to fix it!
Your snowmen are adorable! Thank you so much for taking the time to share this very helpful tutorial! I had fun making a few of the snowman head pieces last year. I may give this one a try too! Great inspiration! Hugs, Vina
This is so cute!!!! I wish I had seen this sooner, but I think I will make him for Valentines. Just fantastic and thank you so much for sharing "how to" on this!!! Love it!!!
Love this and thanks for the tutorial. I did pretty good, but can I repair cracks after drying or is it better to peek now and then while it is drying and repair while damp? Jeni
Hi Jeni, you can fix cracks when it is dry. Simply paint the area with some diluted white glue and fill the area with a slither of clay. Smooth and let dry. Hope this helps!
Oh my!!!! My daughters and I just watched on the big screen and they are both in ceramics in school and think you are amazing!!!!! They are gorgeous 🎅🏻❤️🎄
+Jill Norwood Thank you Jill!!! I have seen on Facebook some of the snowmen that the ladies are making from the tutorial and I love them! I hope you will give it a try! Hugs!!
4:01 I really love the idea of what you are making. There’s only one thing that bothers me. I wish you had a stand for your glue gun like I have. I saw the idea on Pinterest and was able to make it from things I had in my craft room.
I have just made a snowman with my friend online and we had immense fun with it. Said friend shared your video with me and I LOVE him!!!! I love the fact he is on a stand too which mine isnt. Going to now add a stand. lol Just subbed you too, TFS. hugs Tibby xxx
+Spellbound987 I have always loved these type of snowmen but they are usually expensive so I love making my own. Thank you so much for subbing and I hope you will make more! Tfw! Hugs!!!!
I love your video! I wanted to ask can you make these with air dry clay? I'm just getting started with making things with different types of clay and I'm really anxious to try one of these to put in a waterless snow globe for my best friend who really loves snowmen.
Thank you for watching Deborah! I haven't tried air dry clay but if you can get it pliable enough it may work. You might have to add a tiny bit of water to it. Good luck with your globe! That sounds like an adorable project! Hugs, Patti
STOP APOLOGIZING! I know you don't mean it in a bad way, but truthfully we love your videos, and like you- whether the video is short, long, or whether your battery dies or not. You never have to apologize to anyone here- YOU are doing US a favor. 😘
+Shabby PinkStamper AWE!! You're so welcome! I hope the comment didn't come off as harsh! We adore you and your crafts! Keep making videos and having fun! Xoxo

Another idea would be to use wire and foil and make an armature then put sculpey clay over it.
Let me know if that works! Sounds like it's doable! Thanks for watching!
