    Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got to talking about investment and money. I started investing with $150k and in the first 2 months, my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and get more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family.

      Hi. I’ve been forced to find additional sources of income as I got retrenched. I barely have time to continue trading and watch my investments since I had my second child. Do you think I should take a break for a while from the market and focus on other things or return whenever I have free time or is it a continuous process? Thanks

    • @pius45
      @pius45 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      @@Benard-em However, if you do not have access to a professional like JUDITH ANN PEACE, quitting your job to focus on trading may not be the best approach. It is important to consider all options and seek guidance from reliable sources before making any major decisions. Consulting with an AI or using automated trading systems can also be helpful in managing investments while balancing other commitments

    I'm interviewing for an internship at a Big 4 tomorrow and this was such a useful look into getting a feel for what it's actually like, especially for the fit portion where you need to show a good understanding of what consulting life actually means to show you'll be happy working as one. Also probably the best consulting week in my life video on TH-cam! Thanks so much, keep em coming!

      That’s awesome 😊 what are you more interested in learning about right now? And which one are you more likely to get a job in given your current experience? An internship at the big 4 is a great way to get to know the firm and the type of work that any practice does! As long as you get in you’ll have the opportunity to discover which line of service you want to dive into in the future ✨

      Hey Sohaib! So glad you’re here and loving it! Consultants definitely do work a lot (depending on your exact team and clients), so I’d say if you want a good work-life balance you have to make time for yourself and ensure that you give yourself time for what’s important to you! Travel wise - pre-pandemic, it again depends on the client - when I (Den) do travel, it’s typically from Monday - Thursday (working from 8am-10pm, ish) then home for the weekend. ✨

      Technically they don't want you to be making money from any other sources - I just keep it on the down low. It's also subjective - more traditional businesses are more 'okay' because the firm could potentially make money off of you - online businesses like TH-cam or Spotify music are less understood.

      Hey Fawad! Big goals, we love it 👏🏾👏🏻 It definitely depends, but likely going the financial or law route would be the best bet (CEO’s often have a financial background/designation or a JD). That’s not to say you can’t be a CEO of a smaller company/specific industries with a different career background, though (like tech, engineering, etc). 😊

    I’m considering going into consultancy, and am applying to one of the Big 4. Would you say that being a consultant is intense / stressful? I find it really interesting but am worried my mental health won’t be able to take prolonged periods of stress. Obviosuly that comes with any job, but you know what I mean! Thanks in advance :)

    • @stephandden
      @stephandden  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      It can definitely be more stressful than other 9-5 roles, as there are high expectations, and you’re consistently dealing with a variety of stakeholders (that change frequently). I think that if you go for it, ensure that you’re checking in with yourself and asking if it stills feels right for you. :)

What I will say about the Big 4 specifically is that we do work within education or the public sector, and have clients including schools and their boards - but the approach is from a business perspective and focused more on the specific areas like change management, organization transformation, finance, etc. Let us know if you have others q’s ✨
