Good work. These scoots are simple to maintain, but it's nice to show everyone how to do it with a video. I didn't remove the access panel to put my own muffler on. I should have removed it because I had trouble getting the flange to seat properly.
Cool project. Good luck with your maintenance and suck. A click-stop ratcheting torque wrench was a great investment for me, but might be overkill for standard maintenance. Ride safely! The Safety Course is worth its weight in gold! And learning to ride on dirt really drops the learning curve for riding a bike.
Hey I love your videos!! Just some constructive criticism..it would help a lot if you list the tools and parts that you use in your videos in the information for the video :D
I work as a mechanic fixing all these Italian scooters and you did a good job but you forgot to clean the foam air filter!!! Also deppending on the miles its good to change spark plug.
hi maureen! i love your videos. thanks so much for posting them. i'm curious if you've gotten your own vespa by now. also curious about who owns the vespa used in the vids.
Your videos are inspiring for us vespa riders. Thank you. Hey I was just wondering, what is the helmet you are wearing at he end of the vid? I love that style but not sure what they are called or wear to find one. Appreciate any help.
@HappyParrotFL that's some dad you have there maureen! and of course, he's clearly got a wonderful daughter ! i am also wanting to get a vespa, and i am looking at used ones locally. i also want to be able to at least approach the repairs... although i don't have access to tools or a garage space. anyway, keep up the great work, i'll be watching... and good luck with your savings. any idea what model you're leaning towards?
